121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: May 13, 2019, 01:22:25 PM
We recommend dividing all your money into virtual currencies such as Bitcoin Ethereum and others. Don't focus on one type of coin that will be bored to wait for years.

chosing a single coin is not about boredom but its the risk that we can potentialy faced  . let say the guy put all his 1k usd on "brand a" coin  but "brand a" coin got dumped and whats worst is that "brand a" coin could not recover anymore anymore  . that is why there is a saying that dont put all your eggs in one basket  . its always better if you can diversify your funds on different set of coins no matter how big or small your capital  is so that you can lessen your risk and you can increase your chances of earning a good income  .
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange and Hacks on: May 13, 2019, 12:40:45 PM
These days, with a very number of Scammers everywhere, no exchange is safe to keep your coins anymore so one need to be extremely careful and watchful.

Only these days ?  What about before ?  Actually anything online is risky and that includes online exchange . there is no date or time with that because hacking can occur at all times  .  traders/investors have no choice but to trust these online exchange so that they can do their business  .  by using a good quality exchange you can also still reduce your chance of being hacked .
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 13, 2019, 12:04:24 PM
Lol, this is so true. I urge everyone to really put the majority of your investments on bitcoin to avoid getting REKT in the future. Well, you can still invest on some altcoin but at least the your portfolio should be like more than half on bitcoin, just saying.
i also agree with it .. its not bad to hold some altcoin
but it much better to hold only a small percentage and the rest to bitcoin
altcoin this day have much higher risk

altcoins today are still the same as what they are before  , the only difference is the price .  altcoins are infact less riskier than bitcoin because alts are more cheaper and more stable  . just make sure that you chose those alts that are on the top list because they are more legit than the unrated ones   .

it isnt bad to prioritize altcoins , infact alot of trader and investor are foccusing thier portfolio mainly on alts .
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New billionarie list if bitcoin exploded on: May 13, 2019, 11:18:22 AM

Back on the early days  , mining that time is not yet difficult because cryptos such as bitcoin arent also really popular. Hardware mining is also cheap as well as the electricity and most importantly , the price of bitcoin is also verry cheap  .   they mined it or maybe they just buy it directly using their cold cash as a part of thier investment   . its not really shocking or surprising at all in my part   .
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia to replace USD reserves with Bitcoin on: May 13, 2019, 10:34:39 AM
~ snip
News are mostly full of speculations, rarely I see some good article in any cryptocurrency oriented news. I transferred my attention on twitter mostly, steemit a very often, telegram. Many times I see it first on twitter, than I see article where they quote people from twitter (its what journalism is about now). I follow many people who have good influence in crypto community, they are better informed than many crypto news.

not all on social media are legit  . those popular personalities that you are following are only controlled by a fan or its only a dummy account  .  news are still a better source for information but as long as you are reading the news on a reputable source  and not only on just random news sites that are not popular or dont have a reputation yet  . anyway , back on the origial topic  .  its nice to hear that russia is now starting a cashless society    , before im saying that its not possible but it is really possible after i see this  .
126  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: May 13, 2019, 09:49:55 AM
I think he means it in the same way some people would say electricity, the internet, or let's just say more broadly, technology is not meant for humans. ....

Electricity , internet or technolgy in general is still meant for humans or should i say primarily meant for humans  . secondary use would be for animals or for other non living things . they also need a technolgy so that they can improve and develop more effectively just like us humans   .

that is the same as cryptos , cryptocurrencies are invented because of the devs of cryptos wants to exeperience a way of paying or a currency that is independent or not tied up with the banks   . cryptos are really built for human because humans are the only one that can use cryptos  .
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 100 days before halving on: May 13, 2019, 09:18:58 AM
Will the upcoming halving really bring big changes to bitcoin?
I remembered when the 2016 halving crossed, it turned out that there was not much effect on crypto prices

Same here , idk why alot of users keep saying that the cryptos can pump too much because of halving  and like you said  , 2016 halving did not have much impact on the market but i guess its normal because before cryptos are not yet popular but today especially on the incoming years , cryptos are expected to be more indemand  and i think that will cause for the price to rise and not because of halving   .
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: May 13, 2019, 03:03:12 AM
90usd ? Sure it can because eth has no difference between other cryptos and all of them are all volatile which means they can go up or down but that is a big blessing if ever the price of eth drop down to 90usd tho i think it could take a long time for it to happen since we all know that eth is kinda bit useful especially for token creation in an ico so there will always be a demand for eth no matter what
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: May 13, 2019, 02:26:49 AM
Waves is an old and solid project. However, the price does not increase at the desired level, there are many reasons. I think they need more advertising.

yes, i agree with you,
a good marketing campaign is needed for all cryptocurrencies project, even for an old and solid project like waves

Marketing ? Advertising ?  No i dont think so .  waves is already a popular altcoin and im pretty sure that every crypto enthusiast do already recognized this coin  . waves before do also have a signature campaign on the late 2017  and thier campaign do also run quite longer  .  but to the question that if will waves replace etherium ?  Id say yes its possible because waves can also do what eth can do but in a more cheaper way  .
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: May 13, 2019, 01:56:31 AM
IEO is somewhat profitable because it is already listed on the exchange and trading begins immediately which gives it the chance to grow on a fast pace unlike ICO that takes a long time to get listed on an exchange before trading begins.

But even if its already listed you cant still guarantee that their price can rose imediately because they are still volatile  . plus  , you can instead expect that their price can fall down evenly because the chance of dumping them is too high since they are already listed .  while on ico ,you can expect that the price of the coin can instantly pump after it gets listed since investors and bounty hunters were only hodling thier coins for a long time .
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late?? on: May 13, 2019, 01:10:03 AM
Crypto market in general is heading to 200 billion USD I think we're getting very close to what we all call a bull run

Wake up. Bull run has already begun, Bitcoin has more than doubled from the price low this year.

7k usd is still pretty small to some people therfor they did not consider the increase as a bull run   . for them a real bull run is when the price cross to 18k to 20k usd just like what happened last two years ago  .  when it comes to buying/investing , it also depends on the user if he thinks that he can afford the current price then he must buy now but if not then its better if he can wait for more price decline  .  price of bitcoin is not really that huge , so id say that its not yet late to join  the ride  .
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far are we from real decentralization? on: May 12, 2019, 05:42:22 AM
far ? no not really  . by using cryptos you are already in a decentralized system because cryptos are known to be anonymous and is unregulated by banks however when you choose to use centralized exchanged or other centralized service that requires a kyc then you are the one that leaving the decentralized scene   .

DNS is decentralized. The internet is for the most part, decentralized.

oh really ? i didnt knew that fact but thanks btw  .

Anything involving money is not decentralized, and that will take some time to change.

what about cryptos ? cryptos are also a currency same as money  but why cryptos are known to be decentralized  ?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price on: May 12, 2019, 04:53:41 AM
Any idea why ETH price is increasing? I searched  the internet only to find out some insight about the POS of ETH not launching soon, and the possible transition would happen on the year 2021 at least.  Aside from that, there is no good news that I can find.  Is this the after effect of Bitcoin surging price? Does this mean ETH is tailing Bitcoin for being bullish now?

I check the price of etherium but i dont see any shocking price movements  . the price of eth is still the same and its still below 200usd  .  while on the other hand , the price of bitcoin is now pumping at over 7k usd  . they say that eth and other cryptos are tied up with btc but why btc is the only one that is pumping?  While other cryptos are left behind   . oh well , maybe it needs more time   or maybe it needs more price hike for btc before other coins will start to follow it  .
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - $6700 on: May 12, 2019, 04:20:03 AM
and now as we have seen at this time the price of Bitcoin has reached $ 7,100 and I think it will continue to rise again. maybe Bitcoin will reach the price of $ 20K again as it did in 2017, where at that time all the price of coins in the market raced to for up.

like what the popular phrase say " history repeat itself " therfor we can assume that bitcoin's value can climb again up to 20k usd like what it did before on the 2017 era but i dont think that it can happen easily  because if we look back on the year 2017 , the price of bitcoin start to pump at the mid of november up to the last week of december  , meaning to say the pump this year may only occur on those said date's  .

I don't know what happened but this is good news for all crypto lovers about the increase in Bitcoin prices.

what happen is a normal recovery of the price due to the demand that bitcoin gets from the public and yes it was a good news to all of us .
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: May 12, 2019, 03:49:13 AM
This month so far we have a good boost of price, and I think the longer it continue to rise, the bigger it will pump.

only this month ? what about last month ? this year is actually a good year for all the cryptos not just bitcoin alone because we can clearly see that they are now recovering from a trauma that they experience last year  .

We haven't seen this kind of movement in the past, what are we going to do now, prepare for the set back or just let it fly and enjoy?

no meyt , we already witnessed this kind of situation before  . last months and last two years ago are the example  . the increase on the price is not really a rare occasion  . best thing to do now is enjoy while it last because we will never know when it will last .
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: May 12, 2019, 02:48:51 AM
currently bitcoin is helping many people not only to have an extra income but to send remittances in countries of economic crisis, I hope that more good coins do the same with lower rate and more people acceptance!

yeah yeah we all knew it but whats the connection from the current market state ? when we all here are only talking about the current state of the market and not the benefits of having a bitcoin   . but anyway  , to answer the op's question `the current market state of cryptos right now is healthy because i can see that bitcoins as well as other cryptos are now increasing more evenly  . by this i can say that the bull run or the bull market is now starting  .
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone who use mobile wallets? on: May 12, 2019, 02:05:41 AM
Not only mobile wallet but all online wallet also dangerous,

mobile wallet and online wallet are considered as one if you are using a mobile phone and yes all online wallets have risk  , thats why its always recomended to store our funds in a hardware wallet   .

even market with good safety still get hacked so if you want keep your asset for long time its better in offline wallet.

safety ? who says that a market ( crypto market ) is safety ? all kinds of market ( not only on crypto ) are actually have risk as long as its involved money  but crypto market is more risky of them all due to unstablenes of cryptos  . your right that its always a nice idea to secure our funds in a cold storage or offline wallet if we are going for long term  .
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 12, 2019, 01:22:40 AM

We are back again! Yesterday, I was just looking at btc with a $6.5k value but now it passed $7k easily when I woke up. I really don't how and why  but I'm not complaining  .......

your not complaining ? but you are wondering on why the heck the price jump so fast ?  based on that  , i think you are still complaining  .  anyway the price increase was normal and it maybe caused by  fomo ( fear of missing out ) people are buying because they dont want to miss the incoming bull run .  lets hope that a real bull run will finally occur and not just a bull trap because everyone is expecting too much   .  lets hope that btc and cryptos wont failed us this time  .
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins labelled a gambling device on: May 11, 2019, 10:03:43 PM
 ~ snip ~
Obviously no, it is not a gambling device as a whole. Yes maybe some of us when bored, like me when I'm bored, I usually play where I play to ease my boredom and I even earn money while playing, and I am not the only one to do that,  many of us do that, but to label bitcoin as a gambling money, that is not right. Yes it can be use in gambling but that is not the only purpose of bitcoin, it can be used in trading and even in purchasing items. So no, bitcoin isn't a gambling device.

when he say gambling device he does not mean that bitcoin will be only use as bets to play online gambling but i think he generally means that bitcoin is like a gambling becuase once you own a bitcoin  , the value of it can suddenly rise or fall  ( risky in short , like playing a gambling  ) . i do agree on the person who said it but this isnt new to us  ,  people are already used to it   . being volatile is not a disadvantage but its an advantage
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is This The Last Time To Buy Bitcoin Cheap on: May 11, 2019, 11:13:16 AM

for this week ? yes maybe because we can all see where the price is heading at  , but starting next week ( monday ) dunno if the rise will still continue or not   .  so if i were you @op id rather start buying now so that you can still earn some quick profits  or you can just blindly ignore the pump to be able to wait for another bottom  if you are trully eager to buy bitcoins at a much cheaper price   .
