121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW XBY ANN] XTRABYTES - OFFICIAL WEBSITE and WHITEPAPER RELEASED on: October 30, 2017, 07:40:58 PM
This amiable atmosphere is far more appealing to believers, old and new. I hope it continues long the future along with XBY.

I think new exchanges will be a great way to garner a wider audience base. Once people see a high daily trading volume spread across multiple exchanges they will be far more enticed to look into and understand what XBY is and why it's so important. But until then we have to rely on hardcore believers which, while they are the core of any idea, they alone do not generate a high trading volume and so they alone cannot exhibit (at least effectively) the broad use cases of the project.

All the same I am a true believer in this project and I'm very excited for the future once this peace can be maintained.

Is running an MN more profitable than staking at the moment?

Are people still having issues with their MN, having to reboot it every so often?

Also, is using an MN more representative of mining or staking?

This place is turning into a circus.

A little communication from the devs would be wonderful? Where's CCRev?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Regalcoin – X11 Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: October 28, 2017, 02:31:14 AM
Hol' up!

Was the pre-ICO price of this coin 0.95$? As in, ninety-five cent?
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Day Trading Portfolios and How to Manage Them on: October 27, 2017, 04:07:02 AM
TL;DR

How should one go about setting him/herself up for day trading?
How should I organize myself? (files, folder etc)
What should my routine be? (what should I do at the start of my working day etc)
What indicators and charts studies should I learn about?
What are good resources for learning about trading cryptocurrencies?
And other questions I haven't thought of yet...

The title could be slightly misleading for now, but I'm willing to consolidate the information I get here, edit this first post and include all the helpful advice and information that I gather to help others.

In line with the cryptocurrency ethos I will take into consideration all the thoughts, ideas, advice and requests, both on how I present the information and how I word it, that I get and I will try my hardest to make the information as accessible as possible to people from all backgrounds. But I'll need everyone's help.

So I got into cryptocurrencies around July 2013 and without giving an big spiel all I can say is, what a journey. I never thought it would come as far as it has and I'm honoured to be a part of all this.

I didn't intend to invest heavily or day trade when I was starting. I was kind of obsessed with the idea of decentralisation and Satoshi Nakamoto and I just peppered my Bitstamp account with some of my wages, buying here and there. But recently (since July) I've seen financial opportunities in cryptocurrencies explode. I won't assume future circumstances on past events, but I have belief the crypto community will keep gathering momentum and I see it as a viable option to earn cashmoneydwolla.

Unfortunately I have f*** all experience in trading. I got very lucky in the summer with NEO and BTC, but that's all it was, luck. There was no technical analysis, no research of the team or even the fucking product (God-forbid!).

In the few months that have passed I've come a long way. I'm an avid (that's an exaggeration) reader of whitepapers, I've come to understand basic features of a chart, (like MACD, BB, OBV and EMAs) I've taken to joining the Telegram groups, Slack channels, Facebook groups etc. of the projects I've been interested, I've become (somewhat) privy to media outlets that cover cryptonews and I've actively chased down members of a team to get answers  directly from them about their product.

Despite this I am a total amateur and I'm not afraid to admit it. But I think there are plenty like me, with a splatter of knowledge here and there, a fire in our belly, but no real harmony in our minds of how it all fits together.

But first: orgnizatiom. My skills in this are quite low. I want to ask you all, for day-trading, how does one go about becoming organised for this? What should be do first? Buy a folder? (Is that archaic?) What does a day traders routine look like?

As I said, as I gain information I'll ask new questions, take on the questions of others and consolidate it into one accessible piece, to the best of my humble abilities.

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔮 Challenge: Let's predict the ETH price for the 1st of December (2017) on: October 26, 2017, 07:51:54 PM
Is there a prize for this challenge? I would expect at least $300 but I don't know how far it will go.

My predict is 400 dollars.

Please don't make posts like that if you don't want this thread to be closed.

Why would the thread get closed for making predictions?

This is the 'Speculation' board after all.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FUJINTO – Decentralized Cryptocurrency for Travel Industry on: October 23, 2017, 04:05:32 AM
Market cap of about 600k and the volume for the past 24hrs reached 1.5m.

Telegram group would be a great step for engaging people who want to find out about the coin.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elastic (XEL) Price Speculation - #Added to Bittrex on: October 23, 2017, 03:48:16 AM
Is this coin being listed on BitTrex? I see it on CoinMarketCap as being available on the exchange, but I can't find it by searching 'XEL' or 'Elastic'.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ADEX]*new thread* - AdEx Network - Decentralized Ad Network on: October 22, 2017, 10:59:18 PM
"swear AdEx feels like NEO all over again.... Bittrex supply under 3 mill tokens now...
Accumulation bots ✔️
Supply thinning ✔️
Partnerships being announced ✔️
Moving onto the NEO as the first official DApp ✔️"

- this is copied and pasted from facebook from a guy who has for certain a couple of millions in btc on his wallet. Usually this guy is right he called Neo under 1 dollar for example and he said Adex could go to 50 - 100 dollars by next year.

dont miss the train Wink

I noticed that NEO and ADX have very similar charting patterns as well. But ADX is only at 60-70 million market cap with NEO at 1700 million Smiley. Almost 30x to go then... hah.
I will throw out a target of 0.0014 (based on past NEO movements) within the month. So about 5x from where we are now or 335 million market cap.

Very speculative mind you.... but very possible.

Did you mean 0.0014 or 0.00014? If the former, do you still think it's a possibility under the current conditions?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARK voter's share. What is this? on: October 21, 2017, 02:39:27 PM
Ark is a wonderful token that I expect to see a strong recovery on over the next few weeks. Love this voting idea.

You're script is actually fantastic though. Mystery and intrigue...

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will XTRABYTES (XBY) Be A Top 10 Cryptocurrency By The End Of 2018? on: October 21, 2017, 01:21:49 AM
I actually hate this thread because it makes me anxious that xtrabytes will run away in the night with all this positive advertising.

But that's not very crypto of me.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red Pulse (RPX) just destroyed themselves - Worst ICO ever! on: October 21, 2017, 01:18:04 AM
When is this toke due to hit exchanges does anyone know? Something more specific than "in the xQ of xxxx year".
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: anyone else have ICO fatigue on: October 21, 2017, 01:10:47 AM
Yup.. sick of hearing the word.
It was nice here before you all showed up flogging them.
You all ruined crypto.

Out with the old, in with the new.

But seriously, the relentless barrage of ICO advertising makes my brain tired. There's enough money in trading and investing in projects or products that have been around the block. Litecoin, Monero, Ethereum...

Not to mention the majority of ICOs trade below their ICO price within a couple of days (sometimes hours) from when they hit exchanges.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIST - of the proven projects/crypto devs still going strong 1yrs + old - on: October 20, 2017, 04:33:17 PM
I'm actually amazed that no one has mentioned xtrabyte.

I'm not in anyway a seasoned investor and I haven't got the thorough knowledge that a few don on this forum, but the product is capable and robust, the community is active, devoted and enthusiastic, the developers are hard-working and committed and I believe this year they are implementing masternodes, which could mean an upward trend. In fact, I think the price has increased over the past few days in lieu of this fact.

As I said I'm not a seasoned investor and you can get some stronger arguments from both sides I'm sure, but do a bit of research and see for yourself. If I had 12gs I'd probably set myself up for a masternođe
