121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is btc dead from an investment % point of view ?? on: January 12, 2018, 06:45:17 PM
BTC is not dead from an investment perspective. It is just taking it's time. More patience is needed at this time of year. 2018 has just started there is still a lot in stored for BTC in the coming  months. For now just hold on to your coins it will all pay off in the next months as this is usually the trend of BTC.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is yobit exchange scam? on: January 12, 2018, 06:05:03 PM
In my experience with Yobit it is a trust worthy exchange it is not a scam. They just have some technical problems with their site. Most probably with the server they are using that is why deposit sometimes can take hours but rest assured deposits are being credited. I have not experience untoward circumstances with Yobit yet. Hopefully Yobit can improve their services further so people won't tag them as scam.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make your topic on top of the discussion on: January 12, 2018, 05:20:54 PM
First of all you should have a catchy title, and your topic should have sense and is related to the forum where you are posting your topic as unrelated posts are usually deleted or transferred to a different section by the moderator. Next if you want your topic to gain more reply and be on the top of the discussion you should actively participate in the discussion, quote the replies and provide comments on what was submitted by other users. If for some reason you were out for a while you can check "show new replies to your posts" and you can reply to those posts and your topic should be on top again of the discussion thread. hope this helps.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does cryptocurrency success? on: January 12, 2018, 04:03:47 AM
Some of the cryptocurrencies that emerge in the market became successful since many people believe in them. They also have proven themselves to the market already for some time. For some coins it has made a name for it self and became popular. Sometimes popularity of coin will bring them a long way. In the other hand some coins are not successful mainly because no one believe in them. Second is they are not so popular in the market. Sometimes it is also because of the team who is behind the coin some are just fraud that is the reason why they don't succeed.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still have faith on Litecoin? on: January 12, 2018, 02:36:23 AM
For me I still have faith on this coin it has already proven itself, it might take some beating now, but who hasn't? even btc also took it's own beating but surely this coins will rise up soon that is for sure. Litecoin is already known to people. As long as people still use it and people says that the coin has still value it will always have value. So no need to worry for now, if you have bought at a higher price then hold on to it until you make some profit then sell it.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: January 11, 2018, 08:38:25 PM
If I had $50 and don't know where to invest in, first of all $50 is just a little amount, so I guess it is ok to loose in case the coins doesn't go well. I would invest in so called penny stocks. Or should I say those coins which values are just pennies, I would not buy different coins as it would lessen my purchasing power rather I would buy only on one coin and concentrate on that, Focusing on one coin would mean more coins, more coins will yield more profit once the value of the grows to something exponential wherein you gain more profits for the $50 investment. In case the coin does not do any good sell it and atleast get the half of the $50 so your not totally lost.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 11, 2018, 08:32:05 PM
ETH has a lot of potential in beating btc prices but that would not happen soon, not this year but probably next year, so it is good to hold on first to those ETH coins until it reaches BTC prices now. That is the time you sell you ETH coins and make large profits. For now the potential and the noise ETH is making is a clear statement that ETH has a future.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: January 11, 2018, 01:48:55 PM
If we base it from prices I would say bitcoin will still be the most expensive coin more expensive than ETH, but in terms of performance and growth I think ETH will rule that line. It might growth to a few thousand $ increase in value however it will not defeat the current price of a BTC maybe not this year but I see a lot of potential of ETH to replace BTC in the coming years. Due to increasing transaction fees of BTC people will soon think of other cryptocurrency and that could be ETH. So if you are still starting out i would really advise to start with ETH rather than BTC if you want to earn large profits.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: January 11, 2018, 01:33:33 PM
We can't really tell if 2018 is a good year for altcoins. Not all altcoins will perform well that's for sure. We can only hope for those top altcoins to continue performing on the top spot. But in general we can never tell if altcoins will perform good this year there are a lot details to look at and prove to the users that an altcoin is really performing. It also depends on the level of popularity of each coin. The more popular the coin is the more investors will invest in them making them successful.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your number one struggle in making money with Cryptocurrencies? on: January 11, 2018, 01:27:31 PM
My number one struggle in making money with cryptocurrencies is the increasing transaction fees that service providers add when sending coins to other wallets. With the rise of transaction fees in order for you to profit on the coins you have is you have to atleast set aside 20% more of the profit goal you are expecting to cover all transaction fees until it becomes real money. Another struggle is the highly volatility in nature of these coins will be a struggle for some since you have to watch the market 24/7 if your coin is taking a dip or increasing in value. It is also a struggle on which coin to invest your money in since there are a lot of new coins emerging each single day without you knowing which is the best coin to invest your money into.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: January 11, 2018, 04:29:11 AM
Now is the time to buy BTC, prices are fairly low and there are no erratic rise of prices. You can start buying now and hold on to it until it will reach it's peak again. Once it reach it's peak start selling of your coins and gain profit from holding on to your coins. One advantage of buying bitcoin though is it is very popular and it will not die soon.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: January 11, 2018, 04:13:05 AM
Since Cryptocurrency is highly volatile, there is never a perfect timing on when to invest. Even if you missed the dip you can still invest now and hold on to your coin until you gain some profit out of it. The main goal in investing is making profit as long as you still have the coins with you it is still not considered a loss. Hold on to it until such time it will create some profit for you. You never know that dip is a permanent dip, so I would say you can invest now and hold on to it until you get some profit, most importantly set realistic goals it will help you far.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best trading strategy on: January 11, 2018, 03:11:40 AM
The best trading strategy I could recommend is always buy when the coins is at it's lowest. To determine this you need to check some historical data of the coin you are buying. After buying a coin when it is at it's lowest hold on to it and sell for a higher amount. This is common with beginners with no technical knowledge on trading, always remember never sell a coin without any profit, you can hold on to it until such time it has some profit before you sell it. Another strategy I use is averaging, but this is more like a long term goal, so first before engaging in trading you have to set goals for your self. In averaging you will buy the coin anytime you feel you want to buy the coin, and you hold on to it for quite sometime calculate the total amount you spent on those coins and sell it for good prices. This works when for sometime you bought a coin at it's highest peak and also bought coins at it's lowest peak at the end of it you should get more settle in the middle before selling. In trading you are not considered that you lost until such time you sell your coins, so if you see that there is no profit yet from the coins you are currently holding on, just hold on to it and just sell when you see that at least you earn something from it.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: January 11, 2018, 02:52:00 AM
For some altcoins they sure have a future. Some altcoins are gaining more attention now and can most probably compete with bitcoin in the near future. For those top 5 altcoins in the market they sure have a future in the cryptocurrency world. For those who are still gaining trust from the people who uses it will have a bit of a challenge especially a lot of ICO's are emerging each single day with a promise of good frameworks. Cyrptocurrency is more like the future of our money, soon our paper money will all be converted to digital currency. So these altcoins will also have a good future ahead as long as they keep up with the competition and offer more exciting features.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most possible Ethereum competitor? on: January 11, 2018, 02:42:34 AM
I would say Ripple is one of the coins that could compete with Ethereum this 2018. Checking on the performance of Ripple from 2017 data. It has a good chance that it will compete with Ethereum maybe not on how it works as we all know they work differently but with regards to prices of this coins I would say Ripple has a strong competition this 2018.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 How to assess a potential coin? on: January 11, 2018, 02:25:26 AM
For me in assessing a potential coin I usually look at the roadmap of their project, see what the coin offers, and most importantly do a research of the team who is behind the coin. Why is it so important to look at the team who is behind a new coin that came out first check whether one of the team members are part of a fraud coin before that is already a big no for a potential coin. Most probably it could be the same as the previous set up. Most of the time this people who are behind this coins will always change or hide their identity so it is best to do a little bit of research on them after all they are the once developing, coding and programming all this stuff. If all have passed my checklist then it could be a potential coin for me.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: January 10, 2018, 06:25:54 PM
It depends on the ICO you are investing your money in. First of all before investing any money to ICO's you have to do your research. Check the ICO's road map. What the coin offers and most importantly check the managing team of these ICO's if they are trustworthy enough to trust your money with them. Once you have done all your research you may now invest your money hoping that it will yield high returns. Just be ready of the losses as well. So I guess it will really depend on the person investing if it would be a good investment for him or not.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 10, 2018, 06:20:20 PM
It is too early to conclude that ICO's will die by 2018. Every now and then a new ICO pops out, with promising road maps. If an ICO is not one of those scam ICO's then there should be a bright future ahead of the ICO's it depends on the people managing it as well as how people will accept it in the market.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 10, 2018, 02:50:43 PM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

First of all in order to invest safely you need to do some research on the ICO you are investing in. Know the back ground of the people who are behind it. Collect as much data as possible regarding the ICO you are investing in. It would not hurt much to do some research before investing. Do not trust in what other people are saying do your own research and see for yourself. At the end of the day you will reap what you have sowed. I am not saying do not invest in ICO as many people are already making money out of it just do a little bit of research and always be prepared for the worst thing that could happen to the chosen ICO you want to invest in.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin. on: January 10, 2018, 01:21:16 PM
An altcoin can only beat bitcoin if they have proofs already. But so far no altcoin yet has reach heights that bitcoin has reached so far. I would say that an altcoin can beat bitcoin once they paper proof. As of now all are just speculation. Anyone can say an altcoin can beat bitcoin but all are just facts that people are thinking they can beat but after all it all depends on the community who is using the coin.
