I sent 10k old Pac from the original old wallet to the redemption address so I can receive 10 $Pac to the new wallet a long time ago. I did this as a test. A few days ago, I updated to the redemption wallet and everything syched properly. The previous transaction where I sent the 10k coins was still in the wallet with TXid and everything. I then send 20k from the redemption wallet to the redemption address, which should be 20 $Pac for the new wallet. I also did this as a test. I still have not received any new $Paccoins yet. I then withdrew 100 $Pac from Cryptopia to the new wallet and this went smoothly. I got the coins from Cryptopia but nothing from the actual Paccoin people. I sent an email to the website support and they still have not responded. My question is, can anyone help? The end of the month is approaching and I still have tons of old Pac to swap but I am starting not to trust the process.

Yesterday I sent the old coins for exchange, so that new ones came to 3 exchanges and to a purse. All coins came to all exchanges, on a purse too. If everything is right, everything works fine. Thanks for your response. Would you happen to have a video or instructions, by the numbers, that I may use? Perhaps I am missing something. I tried the instructions on the website and it does not work for me. Forgive my ignorance. Thanks. |

I have done this. The wallet, while synching looks like the old wallet and it is taking for ever, not the 60 minutes it says. If I continue, will the wallet change to the picture you posted? Please advise. Thanks. I got the same result, looks like the old wallet to me as well. Go to C drive, go to users, {Your computer user name} go to appdata, go to roaming then go to Paccoincore, not just paccoin and start it. What a nightmare for me. Have a great night/day bud. |

Ok folks. I am so sorry. Apparently I got sidetracked and blinded by all the paccoin wallets I have. I finally got it to look the right way. I appreciate everyone's input and due diligence with this and your patience with me. I was wrong and I will always admit it when I am. It is working now and moving like lightning speed. at 86% now, after 1 minute. Thank you all and wish you all the best with this magnificent coin. |

The new Paccoin Core wallet is the new $Pac wallet? It looks so identical to the old wallet. This is my confusion. I just don't want to waste my time trying to download the old Paccoin wallet, which I already have and it is taking over 8 hours. The new $Pac is on the same 8 hours path, not the 30-60 min like the Paccoin.net website says.
Yes, Paccoin Core is $PAC wallet, very fast to sync, just try! Old Pac wallet has to sync a almost 5 years old blockchain...it takes days to me! Mine, which I got from paccoin.net on the link of new $pac starts in 2013, even though the build date is 1Nov17. You can find it in the debug window. This is my confusion. This is new PAC Core wallet:  Then this is not the same wallet that I am downloading. I went to the website paccoin.net and on the top right, it says, $Pac wallet. This sends me to a Mega download, Mirror 1, since Mirror 2 does not work. And it is downloading the old Paccoin wallet. This is so confusing. Where did you get your new $Pac wallet from?
