121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 12:46:19 AM
No very certain that does not exists. No money to me made for the banks with Bitcoin, they hate it Smiley

I think they will never ever accept bitcoin in any bank of any country ..because they both strong competitors of each other....but let see what will going to happen in the future because for me,, Bank and Bitcoin are both business each of them will going to have their own strategy to strengthen their own power and capability to prolong their businesses but ofcourse they will going to think what is better for their valued customer..we'll never know they may be merged in the future.. just maybe..lets all wait what will going to happen.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost money in the cryptocurrency market? on: January 16, 2018, 12:25:36 AM
Ya, I don't move crypto around much as I haven't done it before and it makes me nervous, I leave too much on the exchange, I gotta get over this fear, it's stupid. Besides that I have litecoin as I've always liked it's utility but when it had that big pump a while ago I bought more during the ath. Lesson learned

Have not lost any amount yet..and I have not  invested any amount of actual money yet...just still joining every campaign available ( ofcourse when the first campaign I joined in is already finished)   and trying to earn coins from here so I can have earn  some to invest it here have not try to trade or any transaction  have not even receive my firsr payment to my very first campaign I had joined and been finished last year december 7, 2017 .... and I am hopin that I not gonna experience loosing any although as I have research it is normal to loose some money here because the security in bitcoin and wallet of bitcoin is not that strong and I hopefully they will fix it soon..so every bitcoiner will feel safe..
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: January 16, 2018, 12:09:12 AM

Make a contract. Enforce it in a court.

This is the essence of our discussion: How can we guarantee payment?

The old way: Trade for something of value (silver, gold).

The crooked way: Use government chits, and the government will enforce the payment (U.S. dollar).

The Bitcoin way: Accounts are accurate, honest, and convenient (based on Math).

No one can phoney the books--the system Just Works. It's more voluntary than the other systems, yet has none of their drawbacks.

Note that Bitcoin is just a system of accounting, and could be used for purposes other than trade. To call it money, or cash, or "worth" something is to complicate it needlessly. If someone wants to trade bitcoins for Pesos, or for Yak fur, or just hold on to them, that is their free choice.

All trades are ENTIRELY SEPARATE FROM THE BITCOIN SYSTEM.

Keep it simple, people! There is no reason to put Bitcoin into the commercial arena, with the accompanying legal meathooks. There is no reason to call Bitcoin money, or cash, or to say Bitcoins are "worth" X number of dollars, because they're clearly not; Bitcoin is just a P2P, distributed accounting system. Nothing more.

Why ask for trouble, and invite the crooked Enforcers in where they don't belong? Bitcoin is NOT money, so don't call it that!

-----

Full disclosure: I am also fresno. I created the fresno persona to handle my political activities while I ran the Silverman site. Now that I am no longer exchanging Bitcoins as a business, "fresno" is no longer active.

Yes technically it is a MONEY...Bitcoin is money for the Internet. It is a scarce digital commodity used as money by millions around the world. People buy coffee with Bitcoin at local shops. Others get paid in Bitcoin and use it to shop online. Friends use it to settle with whoever paid for dinner. Workers send Bitcoin back home to help family, regardless of where they live. ...Since its start in 2009, Bitcoin has provided an alternative to traditional government-issued money. No single government, corporation, or nation controls Bitcoin. There is no need for a Bitcoin bank. People store Bitcoin in software called a wallet, which is available for almost any device.

124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: January 15, 2018, 11:52:39 PM
I think I like bitcoin because bitcoin is very easy to get, besides coin in the internet that has the highest value is bitcoin, so I really like bitcoin of the coin the other. bitcoinjuga often become role models other coin price value.  Grin

What I like best in bitcoin is easy to access easy to have like..
if you are going to use it in payment you can do it easily ..and easy to send from your wallet to another with out even paying for transaction fee.. and most of it you can earn it even when you are chillin at your home ...easy to be promoted..(I am talking about ranking up) because I considered it as a promotion...just like in actual job when you are promoted your salary is increasing too.. sam here in bitcoin when you ranked/level up your payment to all campaigns that you are going to join will be increasing too..that is why I consider bitcoin as my part time job.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 14, 2018, 02:49:44 AM
when ever I found any news about bitcoin it is negative news , i am confused why traditional mass media always against bitcoin ?

In reality there are two( 2) face of media .. one that makes you good person/business/thing..and one that makes you bad in everything even if its right pr wrong it does not matter anymore as long as they can make money out of the articles that they were making its up to us how we are going to absorb it..we can take it as a postive or we can take it as a discouragement in stepping up in bitcoin...Theres a lot of bad news about bitcoin but doesn't mean medias is against to bitcoin..sometimes few of articles they were making was in true to life experience   they make survey they make research they ask people if they know about bitcoin if not there is no problem but if they ask this person whos start bitcoin and failed they are going to tell to the person whos making research what they ACTUALLY experienced in bitcoin....so that is why I said that its up to us how we are going tp take every postive and negative news about bitcoin...every challege has a risk but if you want to learn ypu have to take every risk for you to know what is true and what is not..
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: January 14, 2018, 02:04:41 AM
It is always better, digital currency has a lot more potential than the physical cash or the paper currency. The problem is that bitcoin is not legalized in all countries and its use to everyday living is limited.
Yes it is true that bitcoin is a digital currency that is supported by the blockchain so it has a pretty strong security and are more likely to develop. miners and developers concerned with bitcoin forming hard or fork called bitcoin cash working transparently. It also has raised concerns about the security of the bitcoin cash. so safety is superior in the bitcoin.
Bitcoin is digital and decentralized...With Bitcoin people get the liberty to exchange value without intermediaries which translate to greater control of funds and lower fees. It’s faster, cheaper, more secure and immutable. Cash is controlled by banks while bitcoin has owners.Less volatile than cash: Bitcoin has a global acceptance and is less volatile than cash / local currency. Due to this feature, it becomes easier to conduct transactions across boundaries and online more importantly  Duplication impossible... There is no way of duplicating a bitcoin, unlike cash...
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC to accept Bitcoin! on: January 13, 2018, 11:40:30 PM
This can not make sense practically until the problem of high transaction fees and delayed bitcoin confirmation is solved.  IMO

As I have made research a while ago Yes Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has A "Limited Time marketing promotion" for a “Bitcoin Bucket” and was launched Thursday afternoon by the quick-serve restaurant chain — so limited, in fact, that it appeared to sell out of the ten-piece chicken buckets entirely between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. ET on Friday. .. But ofcourse not everyone knows about bitcoin so I do not think everyone can cope to this promotion...but for us bitcointer that is another way of promoting our dear bitcoin.. I know there are large companies that accepting bitcoin nowadays thats why ...only the large people can benefit in easy using bitcoin but if they will also introduce it to the fast-food chain like KFC maybe even the commoner or simple people like me  can benefit too to bitcoin. no mpre cash debit or credit just cryptocurrency...
128  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do big corporations accept BTC? on: January 13, 2018, 02:30:45 AM
I just think that today bitcoin is very popular and that is why many companies are receiving bitcoin.
Bitcoin has strong opportunities for mainstream businesses, but it’s hard to understand from listening to techies explain it... and it has a better way to do transactions. Forget about Bitcoin as an investment vehicle, or Bitcoin as a way to end the Federal Reserve. Its benefit to business comes from payments.. The value of Bitcoins also proved highly volatile. Some investors thought that as the currency was used for more and more transactions, it would be highly valuable. That’s no doubt true, but small changes in expectations of future value can have a huge impact, either up or down. Because of the exchange rate volatility, most businesses will want to exchange their Bitcoin for dollars regularly. A daily sweep makes sense..

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 12, 2018, 12:23:28 AM
im sure it can...but it will take a long time to make bank dissapear...
but make sure that all people know what is btc...in my country just a less people know bitcoin...
I do not think bitcoin being known worldwide can make banks disappear unless bitcoin will going to have a much stronger security when it comes to  saving coins in wallet. or maybe someday and we all wish that bitcoin is going to be more useful when buying some important stuff and some basic needs in our daily lives .. we may never know what future may give us  but let us all just hope for the best both bitcoin and banks too..because this two (2) have giving us all benefits in saving and investing for  our future..
130  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: January 11, 2018, 11:52:24 PM
It is always dangerous for people who dont know about it. The fear itself is the strongest enemy, my opinion. >_<

Actually in reality of our lives everything is dangerous, when you invest your money to business there is danger if you want to increase your money through gambling there is more danger to that.. same thing to bitcoin YES a big yes its actually more dangerous than putting your money to business..but ofcourse you will never learn how to cope to this danger if you can not even try how is it to be in bitcoin... its just like digging in mining area.it is really dangerous but still there is a lot of people working on it why? because at the very deep of it they going to get golds that can help them to live.

139  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: December 04, 2017, 12:04:33 AM
Do we really want the governments to regulate bitcoin though? I thought the point of bitcoin was that it was money for the people, decentralized, and that no one had control over it.

The legal status of bitcoin varies substantially from country to country and is still undefined or changing in many of them. Whilst the majority of countries do not make the usage of bitcoin itself illegal, its status as money (or a commodity) varies, with differing regulatory implications. While some countries have explicitly allowed its use and trade, others have banned or restricted it. Likewise, various government agencies, departments, and courts have classified bitcoins differently. While this article provides the legal status of bitcoin, regulations and bans that apply to this cryptocurrency likely extend to similar systems as well.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: December 03, 2017, 10:36:02 PM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.

Just compare the total value of all gold in circulation and the total value of all bitcoins in circulation.
You will have your answer.  Smiley

Yeah, moreover I think this is just the price of one ounce. This is like if we referenced to the price of one millibitcoin.

bitcoin might defeat gold in the future but A Big NO now a days it maybe  equal in price sometimes but bitcoin never going to surpass gold..its just like you are comparing the achievements  of legend to the rookie..specially now that bitcoin still have issue when it comes to securing your coins when ever troubles may happens..
