121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you tend to invest in an ICO on: January 29, 2018, 09:33:17 AM
I invest between 2-3 ETH, but I research a lot into the projects and take calculated gambles.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using a hardware wallet for your coins? on: January 29, 2018, 09:31:29 AM
Personally I use a hardware wallet, but I have a lot more crypto than you. I think its a worthy investment if you want to get involved in this scene and you see yourself getting hold of more and more cryptocurrency.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: January 29, 2018, 09:30:30 AM
I wouldn't look into getting a huge amount of returns in bounties, you are just getting involved in their campaigns and getting some of their tokens, if you are looking to make a lot of money, you have to invest.

If you are looking to get hold of some free cryptocurrency, I would recommend Crowdholding's platform. I see these guys only getting bigger and bigger this year and you earn crypto by commenting on tasks from startups. They hit the exchange next month after a successful ICO so now is a good time to get hold of some tokens that will be worth something.

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: January 29, 2018, 09:10:51 AM
I think everyone is a little afraid because nobody likes to lose their hard earned investments!

The most important thing is to just be smart and careful with your wallet and invest into a cold wallet.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Airdrops Profitable? on: January 29, 2018, 09:08:47 AM
Not really, they are a marketing tool that is used to spread awareness, so you never really receive that many tokens, but they do not cost you anything so it's not a bad thing.

If you are looking to get hold of some free crypto I would look into Crowdholding. You can log in for free and earn crypto for giving feedback to tasks. They have completed their ICO a few weeks back and they hit the exchange next month, so their token will be worth something.

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best / safest wallet for storing ETH on: January 29, 2018, 08:22:37 AM
I use MyEtherWallet in combination with the Trezor. And I have had no issues.

You can link your MEW account with your cold storage.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What questions should you ask on an ICO thread? on: January 06, 2018, 11:47:09 AM
hello all,

I am curious to see what questions do you think you should ask on an ICO announcement thread. I think this thread could be a great learning tool for the newbies here on what they should be looking for.

So what do you think? What questions do you ask when you click on an ICO announcement thread?
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about 2018 ICOs on: January 06, 2018, 11:43:51 AM
I think we will see and increase still in the amount of ICO's as long as the price of bitcoin / alt coins increase more and more people will be looking for the next big one to make a profit out of it.

I do think that regulation will have to come in at some point, but it depends if they create regulations to make it safer for investors or to crush ICO's.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's are finally coming to an end! on: January 06, 2018, 11:42:35 AM
I don't think ICO's are coming to an end and I would like to know why you think this is happening.

All I see is more and more ICO's, more and more alt coins and the price of alt coins increasing in the market.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most prominent question ICOs should cover on: January 06, 2018, 11:40:10 AM
I also think you should look into the financial aspects as well, such as the hardcap, bonuses etc. I find that if an ICO can't answer these questions / have not thought hard about it, it is a very bad sign.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 will be the year of Altcoins exploding. on: January 06, 2018, 11:35:59 AM
It's a very exciting year indeed.

I see altcoins as only growing and I am very glad I am interested in this world.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do holidays affect the outcome of the launched ICO? on: January 06, 2018, 11:14:20 AM
I think it does have an impact, not just in people less likely to invest because they are busy, but also you have to take into consideration that maybe ETH goes down as well.

I would just avoid running an ICO round the time of a big holiday.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 06, 2018, 11:05:16 AM
I think there are loads of supporters and I only see this community growing very quickly.

Let's see what ETH can do in 2018!
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018? on: January 06, 2018, 11:04:27 AM
I think they will only grow, but we will see changes into ICO's.

One thing I have noticed is more and more ICO's are having working products before they launch their iCO.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEST ICO RATING websites on: January 06, 2018, 11:02:02 AM
Personally I would keep away from it as I never use them to make a decision when it comes to investing ICO's.

Do you own research by asking questions on their thread.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ICO to invest..? on: January 06, 2018, 10:55:52 AM
Have a look at Crowdholding.

They are a very interesting and innovative ICO that has a working platform since April, they have a low hard cap of 1 million USD, strong team, already agreed to go on exchanges and they are at 87% so they will be finished soon!

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: January 06, 2018, 10:47:54 AM
I love crypto as it is exciting technology. I love new technology and right now this is one of the most hyped technology.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 06, 2018, 10:44:09 AM
I don't think we will see ICO's die unless there is something drastic that happens such as continent bans or worldwide regulation. As long as the media is still looking into Bitcoin and as long as they are seen as a profitable thing, ICO's will exist.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 10:37:34 AM
I think maybe eventually this will happen, but it will be a very long time till we see this coming true.

I do only see ETH as the alt coin to catch Bitcoin right now.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: January 06, 2018, 10:31:49 AM
I don't think all coins are dying, what evidence do you have to support this claim?

If anything it is the complete other way. I do think the market needs to correct itself and get rid of some of the weaker, useless alt coins though.
