I have 7 years don't use any antivirus. Once a month scan utility and it finds only modified the hosts file, which I changed, and different pirate games.
Maybe you are good with your skill and you don't visit strange website. That save you a lot. But for people usually visit xxx, porn website that's will be terrible if we don't use any Anti-virus program. With Windows 10 Windows Defender is the perfect one already. And yes, I'm scare with hackers, scammers. So I use both anti-malware and Internet Security.

Who should not be afraid of hackers? The fear of hackers is the beginning of wisdom on how to beef up your security pretty well and if you cannot do that at this stage, then be best sure that one day you may be a victim. Hackers are everywhere and the inability to protect yourself by using a very strong password, being at alert for any phishing site and making use of all the necessary securities on the platform like enabling 2FA, then you are in for it.

Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?

Who isn't afraid of them by the way? There is always a risk that hackers are lurking waiting for their next target so if you want to secure your coins then better store it in a hardware wallet so that hackers won't have access to it. Do not expose yourself too much in order for the hackers to target you like posting your balances every where and showing what you have because there is a possibility they will try to access whatever they can and you will just wake up with your wallet having no coins at all.

This is a lot but cryptocurrencies aren't their only target. There are banks, ATM's, credit cards and other type of financial settings that has value for all. How to protect yourself from hackers attacks?
Just don't click unfamiliar links, don't fill up your private keys/seeds with any online forms and last buy your own hardware wallet. Are you afraid of this stuff?
Everyone is afraid but we can do something to protect our coins.

I'm afraid of hackers. Hackers usually attack the stock market. Stock exchange companies meet the losses, pay members. Theft is a very old profession. Thieves are now using technology to victimize people and companies.
Agree. They want to catch big fishes like exchanges and trading sites and not small ones. And also ICO that can produce millions of dollar for them in an instant. We all are afraid but hackers get imprisoned too so let's hope FBI or other cyberpolice do their jobs effectively on this cases. Yes sometimes I feel afraid of hackers especially in investing ICO, but even there's a lot hackers show up, I will continue to work in crypto maybe I will more careful this time and i make sure I study first the ICO before I participate.

Who's not afraid of hackers? Of course I do. Everyone, every Cryptocurrency holders and every investors should be afraid of hackers because they could get your digital assets anytime when they hack your computer or your wallets. No one is safe when hardware wallets aren't safe from hacks and hijacks. That's why we need to be more careful every time we open our wallets through digital keys or even hardware wallets and keys.

I think everyone is a little afraid because nobody likes to lose their hard earned investments!
The most important thing is to just be smart and careful with your wallet and invest into a cold wallet.

Everyone is afraid of hackers. We don't know when and where they are coming from. Crypto is a serious thing, it's already treated as financial assets so if his wallet has been stolen it's alarming that everyone isn't safe. How to protect yourself from hackers attacks?
There are many ways to protect yourself from hackers. Buying hardware wallet, printing your balance and make your own paper wallet. Don't put too much balances on exchanges that's one of the riskiest thing ever, an exchange can be hacked and we can't tell if your funds will be gone together with those hackers.

Ofcourse yes, all of us are afraid of hackers. Because all your time and work you invested, or money that you earned or sabed will be gone for a short time because of hackers. So you should secure your account, do not open or put your account for some online transaction. Make some research first if it is legit.

No one should be afraid of hackers, if you have all your information stored in a safe place securely.
Having said this, there is an upcoming ICO called DIW Token that will do exactly that!
DIW’s unique concept plans to solve global security vulnerabilities in regards to private sensitive data including Identification documents, Bank and Login details and Healthcare records to name a few with the introduction of a Secure Digital Vault. Additionally, it will enhance the use of crypto currencies by providing access to their use on thousands of websites.

Honestly, I think as long as you use regular caution when browsing day-to-day, you should be fine most of the time. Like if you get a browser hijacker or some kind of a keylogger - that's on you. That's really easy to prevent. But if your email ends up in a giant wallet hack, then yeah, you should be very, very afraid.

OMG hackers are everywhere even social media's accounts attacked by hackers. So it is very possible for them to attack wallets especially because it involves assets. My suggestion is to be extra careful with the exchange site in trusting with your coins. Ask a friend who has been into this business a long time ago. And avoid giving your wallet information on site. In that way, your wallet will be secured.

I'm really scared, because it's my money! I have a separate computer for wallets, I have several MEW wallets, I hold 1 altcoin on several wallets. I try to set complicated passwords.
