And governments are truly powerless against this new technology.
I'm not sure that is true. Does that make me a troll? Of course it does! As long as the price of DRK is generally going up nothing negative can be said about the coin without people freaking out. Also I think DRK is overdue for a correction so I'm spreading FUD too. I also forgot to add that I'm just mad that I didn't get in earlier which is why I'm spreading this FUD. Makes perfect sense. Until you or someone else comes up with a credible potential spanner in the works, I'm pretty much doing the opposite of freaking out. I have yet to hear one such sensible argument. The NSA and the foreign equivalents have the internet backbones and routers thoroughly tapped with backdoor chips. The US Gov could for example as part of the fake War on Terror (elevated by another manufactured 9/11 perhaps) have an excuse that the sheeple would buy for doing the same with all consumer level internet connectivity devices (backdoor chips in all home broadband routers etc.). Can't have anonymous money transfers with all the fake western backed terrorists roaming the planet now can we? They could filter all protocols they don't like including Cryptocurrencies/VPN/Tor/I2P etc. Not a too unlikely a scenario considering that US and other western citizens have been stripped of fundamental rights such as habeus corpus due to the fake war on on terror: See Bills: Patriot Act 1/2 + NDAA. Besides a dystopian situation such as the one I described there is nothing that can stop the advancement of anon cryptos. This coin is going to unseat world governments I tell you! LOL

And the US government doesn't want to kill bitcoin they want to tax it. If they wanted to kill it then it would be dead.

Interesting attempt -- at least they are getting creative Oh, and if a decentralized currency was so easy for governments to shutdown then we would have already seen the end of bitcoin ages ago led by the Chinese. Given the size of the bitcoin blockcain I wouldn't be surprised if there were more masternodes than BTC full nodes in the near future. DRK will be sooooo easy to stop The Chinese government only has to say a couple negative things about Bitcoin to crash the price.

I’m a believer in this and seems like Evan and team have the right combination. The WebSite states that the "DarkSend" feature will be in RC1 testing on MainNet and the Wiki says http://wiki.darkcoin.eu/wiki/(RC 2 as of May 2014) and will be open-sourced when complete. I'm all for this technology, and enjoying the ride up, but seems like alot is riding on a feature which has not yet been implemented. What happens if it is delayed or there is a problem with the implementation? FUD alert! There can be no problems, this coin is perfect!

Cause of 503 Service Unavailable Errors
The 503 Service Unavailable error is an HTTP status code that means the web site's server is simply not available right now. Most of the time this is because the server is too busy or because there's maintenance being performed on it.
How To Fix the 503 Service Unavailable Error
The 503 Service Unavailable error is a server-side error, meaning the problem is usually with the web site's server.

Clear your browser cache.
yeah, that isn't doing anything, not even a different browser: 503 Service Unavailable No server is available to handle this request.

It looks like some people try to get Yellowcoin down by putting big sell orders, but i believe they are losing the fight as more and more people are interested in buying Yellowcoin.
There are only 2 reasons I can think of for big sell orders: 1. You really want to sell a bunch but you are an idiot and you show your hand by just sticking a huge volume up for sale so everyone can see the wall 2. You already have a bunch of YC but want more so you try to drive the price down by placing huge sell order walls which scare others to sell even cheaper My guess is #2

As someone that's been using faucets to obtain Mintcoin but hasn't actually gotten involved yet... someone sell me on it. Why should one make the move? Why this coin? . Right now it is ridiculously undervalued for starters.

Newsflash: Cryptsy is having a sale on MINT, just 7 to 8 satoshi. While supplies last!
I ran out of BTC so I thought I would let you guys in on it.
Well that figures - I just sent some btc to Mintpal to help eliminate the sells @10. pffffft! I blame the idiot that leaves a 19 BTC sell order @48 on Cryptsy all the time. I'm wouldn't be surprised if that recent dump was the exchange selling the interest they make on all the coins people leave there out of habit. I seriously don't understand why anyone would let orders of a PoS coin sit on an exchange, especially at an ask price so far from the bid. It boggles the mind. Just giving away free coins!

Interesting, PoS mined coins mature in 320 confirms and not 350 like PoW. Not that I'm complaining!

I gotta say, it was a REALLY nice surprise to wake up and find out some poor sap had dumped to my super low-ball buy orders in the high 30's to mid 40's. That little buy-up will be very profitable in the short-term.
Now I will watch the price inevitably rise again.
Sorry to the dumpers =(
Glad to hear that the charity aspect will be implemented soon! When I find some time I will make up another little promo ad. I have some more ideas for simple ones, and some good ideas for short videos as well, which would take much more time, effort, and resources to accomplish, so I will stick to the easy promos for now.
I also scooped some up at a discount.

New wallet will be released soon. Bug fixed: Send coins without password while unlocking wallet for minting Are you adding coin control? Also there is a problem with the wallet randomly going out of sync. Thanks

Mindfox is currently working on testing the blockchain, to make sure it is 100% fail proof.
I'm just curious, how long has Mindfox been on this project? Thanks. He's been on the project for the last couple of days (2-3 days) from what I understand. He has been visible in our chat, showing his commitment and communicating in IRC, keeping everyone appraised. Well this is good news. XBC may finally be on the right path.
