121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 10 BITCOIN CITIES IN THE WORLD on: September 26, 2018, 03:52:05 AM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that has gained so much attention in the last few years, it is no longer news that a lot of people in countries and cities are embracing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as the day go by, but what may be news is what city or country is bitcoin accepted the most. As obtained from FORBES website, a research was carried out recently to determine the cities with most Bitcoin-Accepting Vendors in the world. From the research, the top 10 cities is as listed below:

CITIES (COUNTRIES)                             NUMBER OF CRYPTOCURRENCY-ACCEPTING BUSINESSES
1. PRAGUE (CZECH REPUBLIC)                                          147

2. BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)                                        141

3. SAN FRANCISCO (UNITED STATES)                                117

4. MADRID (SPAIN)                                                          101

5. NEW YORK CITY (UNITED STATES)                                101

6. AMSTERDAM (THE NETHERLANDS)                                88

7. BOGOTA (COLOMBIA)                                                   87

8. VANCOUVER (CANADA)                                                86

9. LONDON (THE UNITED KINGDOM)                                85

10. PARIS (FRANCE)                                                        82

It should be noted that in order to find Bitcoin hotspots around the world, the research used Coinmap on July 24, 2018. The number of BTC-vendors listed in a city was recorded and did not include corresponding suburbs. It is worthwhile to also state that CoinMap relies on crowdsourcing to list all BTC-accepting vendors. For more information, see link below:

Anyone surprised about any of the cities? I am particularly surprised about Madrid being among the top cities, before now, I had always thought that Spain as a whole is not a place for Cryptocurrency.

I wish my country was also listed there. Maybe in a year or two, my wish may come out true.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Memories. on: September 26, 2018, 03:47:43 AM
So I remember vividly around last year when Bitcoin was booming so much, that has been my best lived moment till date, I got a business from a random guy on Facebook, where I just had to monitor stuff for him online and give him green lights to go ahead or so ( basically I was just staring at the screen for like 3 hours or so ) daily and I was earning 15$ daily, for like 3 weeks or so I was being paid in BTC Grin this were my best days, this same guy made me know about Bitcointalk, and so I registered and was following the forum, posting regularly and reading posts I could read, joined signature campaigns and learnt many other stuff, until boom, My PC got hacked into someway somehow and I lost my Bitcointalk account, I copied my wallet seeds somewhere so I was safe, and I lost contact with my mentor guy.

Here I am trying to start from the beginning again and hoping to meet someone or group of people that'll change my life, maybe not permanently but would leave marks.

Hoping for better days ahead.

If you don't mind you could share your best memories too.

P. S: I knew about bitcoins in 2014 thought it was scam(silly me LOL) so I wasn't interested until 2017

I just feel that most of us best crypto memory till now is common. It is about last December's boom in coins price. How happy those days were! I enjoyed every moment because I received the best out of it. I wish more days like those Smiley
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: September 26, 2018, 03:40:58 AM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

Not only crypto currency, even our fiat money is not safe if we are not careful. We should follow the privacy rule properly to keep our account safe.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: September 25, 2018, 04:12:44 AM
I don’t mind that a lot of people are everyday here. Our trying to be rich is clear and the majority of us are ready to make crypto our fulltime job. Of course, it could not be so easy at the beginning but I am sure that the amount of participant on the cryptomarket will be grown so much in the future it just needs in becoming more popular and so many organizations will lose their employees because of crypto. I think that it is the one more reason of crypto’s being banned. Are you ready to give up your job to be here or not?

I do not support the idea of making crypto a full time job. Everyone of us know that coins price keep on fluctuating so I will not waste my time during the hay days of cryptos. I prefer holding coins till I get my desired value... get the best return plus salary of main job. For me, cryptos can be taken as a side income only.

MY FRIENDS BELIEVED AM INTO SCAM

Explain them properly by showing all that you do. Even after that if they don't understand, stay quiet , your progress will let them believe in you.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Epic Journey of BTC on: September 24, 2018, 08:47:57 AM
I wish it to be back to moon soon . I will hold it for long and obviously without panicking.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: September 24, 2018, 07:37:46 AM
You should sell all your eth/altcoins and buy BTC if you want to keep only 1 coin. BTC is the only safe bet now although it may change in a few years.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 best altcoins in 2018 on: September 24, 2018, 07:36:25 AM
The exercise is kind of pointless because we can't really say that any alt coin is successful although many show promise of a good future. It would make more sense to choose top 10 rather than top 3 because all coins are unproven and there are so many of them.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many think crypto is dead. It is not. on: September 24, 2018, 07:30:44 AM
Crypto has just started. Yes a lot of old projects will die not because they were bad but because the technology is new. And even the dead projects would have taught us so much.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: August 02, 2018, 06:19:28 PM
You should buy now. It's the best time to invest now when the market is down.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin is the best way of investment now? on: August 01, 2018, 09:03:10 PM
Altcoins are actually the worst investment now. Almost all alts are back to their November/December 2017 price before the bull run last year.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 500$ investment on altcoin on: August 01, 2018, 07:37:38 PM
If you only have $500 then it is better to buy 5 different altcoins for $100 each instead of putting everything in 1 coin. If you want to be safe, just buy any 5 coins from the top 10 coins. No one can really advise you because you know your financial situation better than anyone and that's what matters when you want to invest more than anything else.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: August 01, 2018, 07:35:18 PM
I hope ICOs die because all they do is collect more money than needed and use more than needed. They are just riding the crypto wave and most will turn out to be scams or flops in a few years.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HomeBlockCoin 🔥 on: August 01, 2018, 07:32:39 PM
MarketCap is now $69,577

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/homeblockcoin/

This was a very big scam. Hope they go to jail for this.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: July 31, 2018, 01:24:09 PM
Ethereum is tried and tested whereas the other projects are new. You can put some amount but to go all in is akin to gambling with your money.
136  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Likely Is It That Bitcoin Will Hit $500k In Three Years?? on: July 31, 2018, 01:23:01 PM
I think it's quite possible to reach $500k in 3 years because development is really speeding up and it will either die in 3 years or become very popular. There's not much of an option of being in between. It's either success or defeat.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: July 30, 2018, 01:44:11 PM
We are waiting for the day when BTC becomes the official currency of most countries.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: July 30, 2018, 12:52:56 PM
It's hard to encourage when we have to tell them invest only what you can afford to lose. Most run away hearing that lol
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: July 30, 2018, 12:51:50 PM
More than a ready made product is whether the product is useful and whether it will be used. Otherwise these days ICOs just have a useless product and have a fund raise.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: July 30, 2018, 10:32:43 AM
All early adopters have the same story. Most have lost or sold at a low price. We will also feel the same after a few years if we sell it now.
