122  Local / India / Re: Lets assume the worst. What's next? on: July 31, 2019, 05:45:16 AM
Because no one can check your phone without search warrant, but bank can check your bank tx and govt will ban P2P site like Localbitcoins and Paxful. And Indian site will shutdown because it will be punishable to holding crypto, so how they can run platform for trading crypto in India.
We can use VPN to access the sites right?

Indian government asking everyone to pay everything you are buying digitally or send or receive money in digital as well so its hard for the banks to decet which one coming from crypto related people in 1.4 billion populated country.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: July 30, 2019, 08:28:41 PM
I have an idea guys, I will make a thread about such strategy, with small amount of course  Grin

And you can follow daily, I'll try to have small profits but in a consistent way, what do you think? It's interesting or not?

It is good to start any thing with your small budget spending high amount at once is not good idea. When you are promoting something make sure you are dubbing your fully growth of the strategies. It is not good to use and try all strategic ideas but better choose the one you think is good for you.
This is gambling,no strategies will work so don't waste any of your money in gambling if you think this can make you as millionaire someday.

People who keeps gambling will go bankrupt in no time as well.

Lets assume this tweet is true - https://twitter.com/Nikunj_Ohri/status/1136823903605723137

"India has proposed a jail term of one to ten years for those who mine, hold or sell cryptocurrencies."

What if this become law? How do you plan for your next course of action (and suggest others)?

p.s. Any attempt to divert the discussion with "I believe this will not become law" etc. will be outright deleted.

Well, we do have other options here. For instance, if I were in this situation then I would still continue using crypto as if nothing had happened.
The problem only arises on buying/selling crypto for fiat. I would stop using the Indian currency and would trade with whatever I have left.
May be at some point in future the government of India will accept cryptocurrencies, I would patiently wait until then.
If required we can also use other currencies for withdrawal such as using USD and getting the amount in paypal.
Also, peer to peer exchanges such as WazirX can be used since it is very hard for the government to judge the amount that it coming from such sources.
If we are in contact with local sellers then we can make the deal in cash too but it's quite risky this way.
If you are holding crypto currencies worth in millions then you can move to countries where cryptos are supported.

Or if you are just holding in thousands means you can make paypal transactions or just use the bank account of your friend from different country and give one percentage as commission or fee to him.

Or p2p like localbitcoin can be.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to find a GOOD team for new crypto? on: July 30, 2019, 05:28:41 PM
If someone had an idea for a coin with a purpose, where would be the best place to get help? If it's a good idea, that's just the beginning.  Getting it done before someone else does it would be nice.  That is assuming it hasn't been done.  Who can keep up these days?
This forum is highly informative about new projects, you can visit their ANN thread to get know more about the team and also lot of ICO ratings website also give information about it.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to ETH Address on: July 30, 2019, 04:04:46 PM
If BTC is sent to an ETH address, what will happen to the BTC? Will the BTC reach the address and wallet? Or definitely lost?

If lost, how to retrieve the BTC?

Like others said you will get an error message while click send transaction or you will lose your bitcoin or ethereum completely when it comes from an exchange and the exchange will take all your funds.
128  Local / India / Re: List of P2P Exchange in India on: July 30, 2019, 03:31:56 AM
Would like to add instashift (https://instashift.io), it has been running since rbi ban came into effect, they act as escrow between buyer and sellers. 1% fees.
Shapeshift needs KYC and for some reasons they are not allowing to trade me even after completing KYC,maybe they are not going to be useful if government of India ban it.
Be little mindful when reading. I said instashift not shapeshift.
Lot of look a like names though,I only know shapeshit never heard of instashift. Roll Eyes
129  Local / India / Re: What can we do? on: July 29, 2019, 07:03:31 PM
-skip-

I believe because I was born here. I know how shit works here.

Porn, Books, Movies, Human beings, ideologies, and even religion .. well religion chants to be accurate - all were banned here. Even innocent TV ads.. remember Oye Bubbli?

With that said. None of the bans are strictly enforced. And I sternly believe that would apply to cryptos as well.

Hahaha ofcourse as a citizen I can also understand how their ban will works. Grin

I am also an Indian citizen, but I don't think they will ban crypto. Not this time. And even if they ban it, I really don't care about it anymore.
Thats what I said because they even don't care about ban and even government officials keep using the banned products in the previous bans.

131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: July 28, 2019, 08:53:38 PM
1.) The Design = It will make you attracted to the this dice platform.
2.) The Game should run smooth and fast = It is important to have this feature so that dice players won't have problem playing the game.
3.) The Platform doesn't have lots of problems that will make the platform less likely to be played because of having problems.
4.) When creating an account to the platform should be easy.
5.) The players should be anonymous.
6.) The Platform doesn't need or required to complete a KYC before a player can withdraw his/her profit to his/her own wallet.
Well, I have an additional suggestion to yours.
7.) It should fast and reliable withdrawals.
8.) It should have a faucet to try and test our luck on their site.
9.) It should allow users to invest in their bankroll.
10.) Friendly admin on chatbox not being arrogant. (I experienced this before)

Indeed, the fact is no one gambling sites that perfect to us, there is always a problem but at least only minor.
There might be no perfect gambling sites but at least we do play into the place on where it do really suits out our needs.

I had experienced that too when making up some conversations with some chat mod where they are too rude on handling players
which do really sucks.

about that #9 you've said, not all the times gambling sites do seek out for investors.
Just simply we need to pick a gambling site and make it perfect for us.Since gambling is not perfect when it comes to results so there can be no perfect sites as well.

Chat box are not controlled by admin I guess so don't conclude about the site just because of their chat box as well.
132  Local / India / Re: Lets assume the worst. What's next? on: July 28, 2019, 08:38:04 PM

LMAO. Crypto ban is not a problem of 1.4 billion common people. Hardly a few lakhs are solely dependent on Crypto. For the rest, it is just another stock/asset. They'll sell and move on.
Even comparing that 324 with lakhs doesn't make sense though.

BTW nothing serious about ban until now so just keep holding your bitcoin.

#StrongHold

Their is nothing left as far as people who still believe that bitcoin would be legal or something like that. Because that rule might get implemented soon of the draft we had being reading on the net and also government is not looking to support the crypto in the country.

India is not going to implement anything soon,I read some passed bills took 19 years to implement as a rule.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good bitcoin poker sites on: July 28, 2019, 05:05:33 PM
Anyone have any good bitcoin poker sites with fast withdraws, or casino's even? swcpoker.eu is a good site, usually get a withdraws within 4 and and 12 max from my expereience, but they say up to 24 hours. OR any goood free spins or freerolls, no deposi bonuses? anything like that? Just curious.
Visit games and rounds section to get the details about free spins and bonus and the new or old reputed gambling sites.

To get know about the poker sites then stick with gambling section and research about the site before depositing any money.

I still don't understand why you guys firmly believe that India is going to ban cryptocurrencies  Huh Just because some draft Bill to ban cryptocurrencies is released, doesn't mean that everything has ended. Actually there is still a long way to go for the draft Bill to become an Act.
Moreover, the Committee head, Subash Chandra Garg is no longer the Finance Secretary of India. Based on the recent news, he has been posted to Power Dept and will retire within 3 months on VRS.
Give some time for the Government to decide. They have already committed to the standards to be fixed by FATF and most probably will not enforce anything in the meantime.
So, let's hope for a positive outcome from the FATF.

^This also shows India doesn't support their citizen as well as the new inventions.

If they start doing from the beginning then most of the inventions might born from India.
137  Local / India / Re: What can we do? on: July 26, 2019, 01:47:05 PM

It was alleged before, was made publically available couple days ago.
Right and you are talking about this : https://twitter.com/SecretaryDEA/status/1153302518815834119 right?

Any announcement from official press release?

This was going to happen as from past couple of years if you would have read government officials statements they had clear that they do not support or encourage the crypto coins and this was sooner or later going to happen.  So should not be shock to people about the ban coming in place.

But who are those who don't support.Citizen wants that useless illiterate committee don't know anything about cryptos but still want them to be banned on their country.

Like many said they might get benefits if they regulated it,now they just give opportunity for P2P to take all the market.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: any reason for this biggest drop? on: July 26, 2019, 07:48:59 AM

This is drop when you see it in the short time frame but can you just see monthly or more time frames then you can understand this is just correction due to huge increase on the price over the past few months.
That's not the picture currently, price now are way lower as bitcoin has finally dump again below $10,000, but this a correction of course, soon there will be a trend to rise again.
RIght,if OP see the current 7 days graph then he can't say there is huge drop because still price of bitcoin floats around $10K

140  Local / India / Re: Question about opening current account for bitcoin trading on: July 25, 2019, 10:13:27 PM
When I asked about opening a current account for crypto trading they said you need to have GST tin number for having current account so literally you cannot open current account in India for crypto trading and also RBI said your account will be blocked if you are using it for buying or selling cryptos.

You can't open even current account for bitcoin trading because bank transactions is barred for any transactions of crypto.

That's why mostly exchanges closed in India.
Yes I did explained the same thing in my above post but you know faking the documents in India is not a big task so people who can use their current account for bitcoin trading and can use other documents for filing the taxes.

It's not about faking documents, you can still transact annoymously thorugh any bank account, like mostly P2P users doing, but when if bank just get hint, you got funds because of btc trading, they will close your account and report to RBI and Income Tax Authority. There is no exception on this.
P2P transactions can work for small scale users but if someone is doing bitcoin trading as full time job will get into attention of banks.

Sometime people write remarks as bitcoin will be a huge issue later.
