Is there anyplace one can get support for YIIMP?
I'm seeing exception: CDbCommand failed to execute the SQL statement: SQLSTATE[22003]: Numeric value out of range: 1690 BIGINT value is out of range in '((count(`Yiimp`.`shares`.`id`) * 2097152) * 4398046511104)'
and wondering what to do about it.

Congrats on a smooth launch. Hopefully big things in store.
Thanks. Taking with a newer exchange right now about getting listed. Hopefully good news soon on that front.

Just released version 0.2.4.1. It is just a maintenance release with two features: Another checkpoint record was added, and a patch to the source that allows for building with older versions of Libevent. In other news: As of this writing we have about 2.5 PH of miners working on Bitcoin Rebooted, we represent about 1% of that. Its maybe a minor milestone, but the number of coins in circulation are now more than double what was pre-mined prior to announcing on November 4th. Please follow us on Twitter, the publicity helps. https://twitter.com/BRebooted

Great launch! Worked out a few link kinks and have at least (2) public pools now. Great conversation over on Discord https://discord.gg/srXW6fJ. Appears we have about a PH of mining currently going on. (And that is NOT us propping up the coins, we only have about 22Th pointed at it). Please keep the questions coming and help get the word out. Expect a minor release bump soon to add another checkpoint record.

Thanks for adding me and thanks for launching the coin, I really like this bit of your announcement: Segwit support has been removed from the original source tree - we don't believe in it and feel it punishes miners via reduced transaction fees
My (somewhat uneducated) understanding of Bitcoin with block halving and transaction fees is that as the block reward to miners drops the transaction fees were meant to supplement/reward miners instead, a transition from block rewards paying for securing the network to transaction fees supporting the network. You obviously already know this but would just like to put it out there for people who do not realize this. Its also really nice to see another coin with some technical expertise behind it instead of the 101 clones where the 'devs' don't understand the code they are deploying. We appreciate your comments! Thank you. The website FAQ talks about this a bit more, but we have been in the Bitcoin ecosystem since early 2014. There is a lot to learn, and we don't claim to know it all by any means - but we felt we had enough expertise to get this effort underway. Oh, your "somewhat uneducated" comment is dead on.

block 7000!!!! you could have easily mined on testnet for testing and done a reboot. but 7K X 50 coins = 35000 coins as premine!
You slipped a digit... closer to 200,000 coins. The coin was announced around block 3900 and mined by non-developers shortly thereafter. Check the Twitter posts for a history. With a maximum coin supply of 268,234,500 coins, that represents less than 1/10th of 1% of the coin supply. As stated on the website, we did in fact spend months (over 1000 hours) testing on -testnet prior to starting mining on Mainnet. But there is no way to generate valid checkpoint records on mainnet via testnet. This was a small compromise to insure some chain stability.

link to github? I dont see a source posted here or on the site. the downloads page link gives to a 404 error... Though I wouldnt ever recommend anyone to blindly download from a random website either.
https://bitbucket.org/ccgllc/Bitcoin-RebootedAdded to the announcement, thanks. FYI: Source link is also on the Download page on the coins website - but your point about random websites is 100% valid. Download link fixed.

Announcing the new Bitcoin Rebooted coinCoin DetailsTicker: BOOT Algorithm: SHA256 Block Reward: 50 BOOT Block Time: 150 Seconds Block Maturity: 100 Blocks PoW Reward: 50 BOOT Difficulty Retargeting: New Fuzzy Effect Wave DAA Premine: 200K BOOT (about a weeks worth) Total Supply: 268,234,500 BOOT (50 years of mining) Website: https//www.bitcoin-rebooted.xyzHashtag: #GettheBOOT This is a "soft launch". We have been internally developing and testing since July of 2018. The coins tests out. The DAA has been extensively tested (over a 1000 hours). We have had the website publicly available for close to a month. An explorer went online two weeks ago. We have an experimental yiimp pool that appears to be up and running, but no promises there - pool operation is not our forte, others are coming online to do that job right. So what is Bitcoin Rebooted? Well, you can read an overview (or everything you would ever want to know about it in the coin details tab) at: https://www.bitcoin-rebooted.xyzHere is a bit more detail: This is NOT a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain, this is a fork of the Bitcoin sourcecode and utilizes the SHA256 hash algorithm so can be ASIC mined The blockchain has been restarted with a new genesis key, magic numbers, etc. Block reward is 50 coins per block, which decreases by 1 coin per year per block. So 50 years of mining, and no major penalty if your late to the game (at least for the next dozen or two years) Block time target is 2.5 minutes, just like Litecoin. Minimum blocktime is 2 seconds, 20 seconds if the block is empty (to discourage mining of such) Block maximum size is 16mb The DAA is all new code, dubbed "Fuzzy Effect Wave" and has a few special features, like "cliff" detection to prevent super long blocks that impact many alt-coins when profit-switching pools leave Segwit support has been removed from the original source tree - we don't believe in it and feel it punishes miners via reduced transaction fees There has been no ICO, there will be no airdrops, there have been no special partners that benefited early The blockchain was mined by the developers for the first week in order to establish some checkpoint records to help reduce the chance of early forking. Announcements then went out via another popular forum and shortly thereafter a pool came online: https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/topic/113782-ann-bitcoin-rebooted/https://twitter.com/BRebooted/status/1059168270597718016http://pool.bitcoin-rebooted.xyzWhat do we consider a "soft launch"? Announcing there first to get a few folks to help confirm everything was stable for a broader audience. Now announcing here for a wider audience. Once a broader infrastructure is in place (bigger network, more pools, hopefully an exchange or two) we will publicize the coin more via other outlets. Of course, the source code is available and a Windows wallet installation program is available - just hop over to the coin website for those. e..g. Not a lot of fan-fare, just public awareness. We are not in this as a "get rich quick" scheme, but rather for the long haul. If this takes a year or three, so be it. You can also try a "hard reset" with the paper clip in the hole "reset button" and reset to factory settings. Of course, then you'll be on Ant pool Solo and will have to change all your primary, secondary and tertiary pools. Then if it's not already the version on your factory reset, you can re flash the Nov version.
Except I had issues on several machines upgraded to 1023 where the reset button (and the IP Reporter approach) were not working. The button was simply ignored.

How do you tell if you have the dreaded C5 control board?
One hint is that you get that error message. The other is that a log file will pop up with a "C5 boards not support" type message.

I have tried to flash the old Nov 2017 firmware 3 separate times....but the new firmware is still on my S9. Can't seem to get the old firmware to install. Fortunately I only installed the new on fewer than 10 of my S9s but would like to change them back until this decreasing hashrate issue is resolved.
Anyone have an idea what I might be missing/doing wrong?
Downloaded the file from Bitmain, click on system" tab, then "upgrade", then "choose file" (the old firmware file shows in the "file chosen" box), and then I click "flash image". S9 appears to act like it is flashing but when it is available same new firmware image is still there!!
Thanks
I've not had problems going back to the May or November releases. Might want to try the May 2017 release (Fixed fequency), then roll forward to November presuming that is what you were running.

Do you think that restarting your computer shortens its lifespan?
This is an odd question.
As usual, agree with Fanatic26. It would be different if I were power-cycling the machine that often, but not software restarting it.
Has anybody successfully used the Reset button, software reset, or IP Reporter reset approach and managed to revert the firmware? I tested on about a dozen S9s of various ages and the software reset pointed everything back to Bitmain, left the IP address alone (no mac change that often happens when backporting). I tried the physical reset button on 5 machines and all ignore that. Tried on May 23rd box and the fault light blinked within seconds and everything was reset - but it was already running the older firmware. Tried the documented IP Reporter reset on one upgraded box and that did nothing.

Normally that errors means your running with a C5 controller board that can not handle the latest firmware. Its one of two messages generated if the controller is incompatible.

What is your cadence for restart in 24 hrs?
Honestly, not sure what your asking. I stated I was restarting 3 times a day, rather think that implies 8 hours between restarts doesn't it? For what its worth, I've changed that to 4 restarts a day (yes, 6 hours apart).

My machines were delivered direct from bitmain in August 2018, i havent updated any firmware myself. Also since they were running the published 14TH prior to adding the additional machines I'd say this isnt firmware. Literally all I've done is plug more machines in, could it due to internet bandwidth? I'm in Canada and running them on an LTE cell phone network, I'm up north and dont have access to Fibre.
Well, the bandwidth per machine is pretty trivial, although latency is important. Running over wifi is never recommended, latency can really suck. That said, having a machine go from 13.5 down into the 8-10 range normally means your having hash cards die. Any chance your overloading your circuits and your voltage is dropping? Can you plug in a meter and check? Post screenshots of a couple of your lowest performing machine's miner status page and let us have a look.

well, you get a reward once we find a block. We have not hit a block for going on 7 days (152.5 hours) also you have diminished rewards as you ramp up - I think that takes about 7 days.
Ramp up takes 5 block finds. Normally, if we have 100% luck, that is on the order of 7 days, but it could be 3 days, or 10 days, or ... whatever it takes to find 5 blocks.
