One more working day until the end of the month. In typical KNC fashion, not a single news update in 10 whole days. We expect to ship to Batch 1 pre-order customers this week and to Batch 2 pre-order customers before the end of the month. Did this happen, or were knc bs-ing again? I mean, have they even finished Batch 1 yet? Are Batch 2 customers going to get "actual" free hashing if July 1st rolls round and they still haven't shipped those rigs? I mean, the whole point of building their datorhall was to provide this free hashing in case of delays, i.e. not delivering in Q2. February newsletter: To make sure that everyone who has paid for their Neptune gets their hashing power we are building a data centre like no other. It is located in the north of Sweden not far from Facebook and other Mega Data Centres and it’s totally powered by renewable energy.
Over the next few months we are bringing online enough hashing power to make sure that any delay in the Neptune timeline will be compensated with a completely free hosted hashing packages to all fully paid customers. They definitely sending out batch 1. Just saw 5 neptune boxes at my hosting site! Sure they are batch 1? Thanks for letting us know |

I have it running now (I guess I'm the first...)
It does: about 3.3 Th and 1950W at the wall (the internal ASIC-monitor gives about 1440W...I have no idea where the difference is going to).
The chip is running on 475 Mhz (and can be set to 500 {not tried yet}).
There is one new thing on the controller-board: on plug-6 there is a small display-board which gives info about the IP-address and Hash-speed (very nice)... but this means as well that 5 boxes is the maximum.
The one PCE-power plug isn't running hot {the fan is indeed pressing air through the hole}, but the cables are 44 degrees Celsius.
What PSU are you using?? Thanks 1600 W Lepa Are the cables the ones that shipped with the PSU? Sorry to ask so many questions, worried about the cable temperatures |

We are currently in the production and shipping phase with the Neptune miners and our main priority and focus is on shipping the miners to customers as quickly as possible. Due to this extremely busy period the processing of refunds will be taking longer.

It's in a shipping phase while there is NO word on its actual capabilities sush hash speed, etc. This is very strange. I have never seen a situation like this. I am quite curious what Neptune can do. I don't think that should be taken literally, unless anyone with a batch one order has seen there's change to in progress, shipping, or shipped etc I wouldn't class it as being "in progress" |

It's a fake until they post pictures ans specification. I would have predicted that there would be a video similar to the Jupiter launch one, but with this being 20nm I think they'll make a bigger deal/ do a press release and get some tech press involved. Well done Kncminer! |

Protip for Trezor guys: instead of just ignoring questions like this, a quick "sorry, no new information" breeds a lot less resentment. Agreed, I've noticed questions like this ignored a few times. Not a great service considering it's Trezor who've failed to deliver on time! |

I would buy from KNC before I bought from a company which allowed people like you to pimp for them any day. ~L)L~ I would like to jump in. Why accuse raskul of shilling for Spondoolies when he was talking about the KnC DC? I have no problem with you criticizing posts that at least mention the name Spondoolies, but I'm pissed too about their big ass DC and I'm sure many other customers are. I had 2 Neptunes on order until last month. Got my refund last month. How many Neptune you have on pre-order? Because if you have some then you are a rare breed.
