This in response to your latest idea, Life Shares.
I'd thought of something similar a couple months ago. I can definitely see something like this happening. You could tie college funds, health insurance, etc into it as well. Hell, with the debt based fiat monetary system we already have a rough outline of the Life Shares plan, the bankers just don't have micro control over people's lives. Tie this in with Agenda 21 (poopulation control and climate change) and it isn't any stretch to see that this idea could easily happen. I reckon it will first start with famous media and sports personalities...who wouldn't like to be able to invest in say, a young Jay Z or Peyton Manning. Obamacoins would've been an awesome bubble. The price would have been overinflated from the start and blind devotion by his followers would have ensured they stayed that way, lmao. With regards to VeriChip, there are other technologies you might want to keep an eye on: one is a pill that you take which is activated and powered by stomach acid the purpose of which is to act as authentication for devices such as phones, etc the pill sends out an encrypted signal ( think NFC ) that is used to automatically log you in to your devices. There are also a couple different electronic tattoos being developed (one by Google that is located on the throat and will be used , in part, as a microphone. I think that it is just a matter of time before they figure a way to use DNA as ID on a mass scale.

I don't use bitfinex. I use bitstamp. And I checked all the options. But I cant change them after I make the api.
Sorry, mistyped, I mean bitstamp. Please wait a little, I'll release update. If issut will still persist, than contact me again. I downloaded the new version, recreated new keys. Still have the same error. it must be a bitstamp issue. In the upper left corner it says login: offline. I'm logged in thru the site. I had to make new API key for Bitstamp after they went offline the other day. The first time I tried I forgot to activate the keys after generating them. Double check your key to make sure it has been activated.

I don't think Gavin is stepping down from anything. It is my understanding that way back in the early days of bitcoin when Satoshi was still involved, Gavin arranged a meeting with the CIA about bitcoin, allegedly to explain to them what it was so that they didn't get all freaked out about it. It was immediately after Gavin told Satoshi about the meeting that Satoshi disappeared. This may not be true, it is simply what I recall reading somewhere (insert link here if anyone has a source for this). If this is in fact true, then it seems to me that what is really happening is Gavin is being positioned for something bigger, i.e. as a full time govt controlled spokesman and ambassador. Undoubtedly the new lead dev is a govt man - or will be soon. Meetings with the CFR? He is absolutely in their pocket. Mark my words: you have not seen the last of Gavin. "Andresen, who was responsible for maintaining the core code that underpins the bitcoin ecosystem, said he was taking a step back to focus on broader bitcoin issues as Chief Scientist of the Bitcoin Foundation, the body that standardizes, protects and promotes the use of bitcoin across the globe." Gavin will emerge as the lead govt voice for bitcoin now that he is free from the mundane duties of coding. What happened in that first meeting with the CIA? They offered him a drink and when he awoke they were fixing to waterboard his ass. Or something. It wouldn't surprise me if they did a Manchurian Candidate type of thing to him.

Did we vote on getting a new lead developer? They didn't send you a voting ballot to fill out? Did you forget to fill out voter registration? hahaha

Well, now much longer before the voting closes?
And does anyone have any idea who is behind this?
I'm the conspiracy guy around here but I really don't know who this is. I would guess it's the stealth hedge fund who has been accumulating iXcoin for the past year but there's zero proof of that.
Follow the money.

About 2.89105 BTC for votes If I am looking at this right, one address voted four times for a total of about 1.44XBT. That same address sent XBT to another address that also voted for a total of 1.11925XBT. It appears that someone is seriously trying to get it listed.

Interesting. There's no money in being advocates so I wonder who's behind them [paying the bills and pulling their strings]. Either way, I guess this is a good thing for cryptos. For now at least. The name of the group sounds governmental: Digital Asset Transfer Authority. I have a severe allergy to that word authority...

Doesn't matter. Bitcoin is considered property now, not currency It is considered property by the I.R.S. Correct, and most likely temporary, but being that we have very thin clarification otherwise, this is the standard I, and many other, are going by right now It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I don't think taxing it as property will work for very long.

I suspect as Obama hinted that Russia isn't as strong as they are made out to be. China and The USA are the two biggest players.
Russia is stronger than people think. According to Wikipedia: 'Russia is world's largest natural gas reserves, 8th largest oil reserves, 2nd largest coal reserves, world's leading natural gas exporter and second largest natural gas producer, largest oil exporter and the largest oil producer, 3rd largest electricity producer in the world and the 5th largest renewable energy producer, third largest grain exporter, 8th largest economy in the world by nominal GDP and the 6th largest by purchasing power parity,Russia is considered well ahead of most other resource-rich countries in its economic development, with a long tradition of education, science, and industry, higher proportion of higher education graduates than any other country in Eurasia, second most attractive personal tax system for single managers in the world after the United Arab Emirates, largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world, second largest fleet of ballistic missile submarines and is the only country apart from the United States with a modern strategic bomber force, Russia's tank force is the largest in the world, its surface navy and air force are among the largest ones.' Europe relies to a large degree on Russian energy (russia doesn't need europe's money but europe needs russia's energy), Russia has one of the lowest national foreign debts, and most importantly: they have Putin. This guy just took Crimea without a fight, beat up PussyRiot on intl TV, and has basically told Obama to go screw himself with his sanctions (as in, we will quit using USD as reserve currency AND refuse to pay USD debts). Russia is a monster that is only getting stronger. Combine this with the ineptness of UN armed forces and the continued drawdown of US forces worldwide...Russia is emerging as THE superpower of the 21st century. China has the potential of a billion people but lacks the military, technological know how, and energy resources to pose any real challenge to the US at this moment in time. This could change incredibly fast and most likely will. The Chinese are shrewd. If they can avoid destroying themselves as they industrialize, China will be a force to be reckoned with. As far as the US goes...it is infected with a plague of idiots going all the way to the top. America is a Philosophical wasteland (as in, the Philosophy of the nation as a whole and the individual people). I do agree with you about where it ultimately leads.
