121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you raised money on ICO? on: October 04, 2018, 08:11:28 AM
Do you an experience of investing in ICO? Was it a good experience? Have you raised anything?

What is more, you can get tokens for testing a project's beta. For example, KickCity. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

I have some. It is very motivational to know that you have allocated some tokens as part of investment and some can be use in times of needs. I have also disappoinments on scam ICO's but i positively believe that i can live up my dreams with bitcoin.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you reccomend family and friends to join the market when it's crashing? on: September 29, 2018, 04:33:01 PM
Do you recommend family and friends to join the market when it's crashing?
We pray for the prices to go up and to more people join the market, but will you recommend someone close to you to join when the prices are dropping like crazy?

If you do, explain why.

I let my family to have knowledge in crypto. I talk to them the pros and cons and let them weigh things and letthem decide. I will help them so that they can also grab the opportunity that bitcoin can offer.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the governments kill cryptocurrencies on: September 29, 2018, 02:57:45 PM
Some governments are starting to embrace blockchain and cryptocurrencies and others are literally closing the doors to this technology. Do you think governments will continue to fight back against cryptocurrencies and decentralization?

I don't think so. Government is seeing only the welfare of the people. If they find it beneficial then they won't allow to kill it. It's just that the people should positively embrace bitcoin so that this will prosper.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: September 28, 2018, 02:21:15 PM
We know that there are many jobless people around world who’s suffering because they don’t have a job or they don’t qualified for the job they want.
if they know or someone introduce them about cryptocurrencies activities they have the opportunity to earn while at home or wherever they are, there are so many easiest ways to earn here , like Airdrops, bounty campaigns and many more, the only requirements here in cryptocurrency world is your knowledge and efforts,
no more resumes and any other documents to be needed.

When everyone knows about cryptocurrencies activities I think no more jobless people out there.

As i can see it there are a lot of job opportunities. Jobless people are sometimes the picky ones that is why it is very hard for them to find jobs. On the other hand there is no guaranteed profit in crypto currently becs. The market value is low. So it is better to have a job and participate in crypto also.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 28, 2018, 01:26:36 PM
This life is full of risks and indeed we are all taking part of it. No one knows Satoshi Nakamoto but people have invested in BTC. In our education we even take risk considering the fact that after school you might not get work.

Over the past months people have been complaining about the price of BTC and I think we should all know something very important. If you are a kind of person who is afraid to take risk. I saw some post talking of anxiety about btc investment and was like if you  can't take risks just leave the crypto world cos you might end up getting  Hypertension Grin.

Check this post out guys- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4706131.0
                                      https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4469252.0

Hope I am right guys? Any comments and suggestions.

Maybe we can put it this way Do not invest in bitcoin if you have no knowledge about it. Taking risk is only a part of it but the simple way to do is learn more about on how to manage it's  investment.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot underestimate the power of human nature on: September 28, 2018, 03:08:51 AM
There is a nature that every human has, which is the desire to want more. Which is why the economist would say, the wants of man is insatiable. Just as you desire more, always take to precautions. Everyone wants to make money and there is no amount made that will make you want to stop, because you will always desire more.
Even at this, we should not because of that nature now involve yourself in a risk that can be detrimental to you. Do not allow your desire to be backup with greed. Invest wisely.
Human as we are there is a lot of wants. We are sometimes not contented with what we have that is why we tend to greed and make decisions with it. Maybe we need to think what is best only for the family and not greediness.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 28, 2018, 01:45:11 AM
Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,  what do you think will be the next BTC
one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?

Make sure to have a better knowledge in what you do especially in investments. Do the extra miles in dealing with and the decisions made in order to  gain profits.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: September 27, 2018, 01:45:36 PM
What is the famous saying....."If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen."

There are so many people crying about the recent dip of BTC that I'm frankly getting annoyed. You should know the risk involved in investing in crypto. If not, don't even waste your money. Go buy a CD that won't make more than the rate of inflation. Remember investing is literally legalized gambling. Treat it as such or don't even jump in the pool.

Why cry in crypto? If we fail stand tall and get back to your knees. There is always a better chance if you bounce back. Investing needs a lot of mind blowing decisions that is why we need to learn more about crypto and grab the chances.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin.. on: September 27, 2018, 12:56:00 PM
Curiosity surrounds the world of Bitcoin, that's for sure. But if you were to be asked to introduce Bitcoin to someone who knows nothing about it, how would you do it? What approach will you take?

EDIT:

In addition to the question, how did you learn about Bitcoin? Do you think your first steps into the crypto world is something you want other's to experience? Or would you rather have them take another path that might shed more light on Bitcoin better

Spreading the words in bitcoin is easy but letting people be involved in bitcoin needs a lot of time and effort. It is not that easy to convince them to participate. For me just let them know your experience and your earnings for them to be motivated.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are a job? on: September 27, 2018, 12:10:05 PM
Do you think bounty hunters are a job in your spare time, additional income or is it the main job and the main income of people?

I would say that currently it is an additional income for me.  Since i have a day job. Some people i know are making this as there main income but right now i am still into not just into it since i have a family.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 26, 2018, 09:52:09 PM
Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin?
Sometimes I think that because so many people HODL it makes is easier for some big players to manipulate the price.

I wonder what the community think about it.
I personally HODL for almost a year, I made some money and lost some money, But generally, I'm positive about the long run. I'm just curious about the fact that maybe we are the one who make it possible for big companies to influence the price in such an easy way

It really depends on the situation. Holding doesn't guarantee a higher profit. Sometimes it is discouraging because some of the coins have no more value. So  better to be vigilant with the market fluctuations.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: September 20, 2018, 11:25:25 AM
So many people are interested in amassing wealth without giving a dime to the less privilege around them, yet they will still be among the first to criticize the government in its failure to eradicate hunger and poverty in the country. You should also know that the duty of eradicating poverty must not be left to the government alone. You must also contribute your quota.

If you have worked to be wealthy or lucky to be one, you should see it as a social responsibility to help the less privileged people in the society. If I may ask, do you feel comfortable driving past several beggars on the street when you have billions of money in your account that you or your entire family may not be able to exhaust in the next 100 years?

Think about this seriously. With the so much money in the world, poverty can greatly be reduced if not totally eradicated.

All that is necessary is the distribution of this wealth.

There is enough to go round.

Note:
You must not necessarily give physical cash or money directly in order to help the poor or the less privileged. You can set up an empowerment scheme where they could be empowered or work to earn a living for themselves. It is like teaching them how to fish instead of offering them the fish directly to eat. I guess it is best that way.

Eradicating poverty is very challenging. There are a lot of poor people who do not have the proper education. Maybe we can start educating all the children in the world. Avoid drugs and other bad habits that can ruin health and oneself. If at least all knows how to reas and write it is not difficult to teach everyone who are in need.
133  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bumili Ako ng Copper Membership on: September 20, 2018, 12:32:39 AM

134  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Filipino Account Review on: September 18, 2018, 08:59:54 PM

No Posts To Be  Merited. Need some improvements. Tip: Better stop posting in SMT.
Ok noted, at least hindi sarcastic yong comments mo sa akin. As a bounty hunter, i am posting in SMT as you called it because i have joined a bounty campaign na kailangan naman ang counts ng post every week ng bounty managers so i can earn my stake/s. Hindi pala ganoon kadali ang buhay dito, iyan ang natutunan ko at kung hindi para sa aking yon signature campaign then maybe i could shift on other things which still in crypto. Pero nakikita ko lang yon iba na kahit senior member na ay patuloy pa rin ang pag-post sa SMT at wala rin nakukuhang merit at hindi natatablan sa bagong sestima.
135  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Filipino Account Review on: September 18, 2018, 10:29:10 AM
I don't think that these kind of threads will work? The thread is not different in Merit giveaways.
Will work or not, at least OP is trying to help our compatriots here bro and maybe others who have smerit will follow OP's initiative.

Normally, moderators are deleting this type of posts. The purpose of this thread defeats the motive of the merit system.
I don't think that moderator will delete this thread, binigyan pa nga niya ito nga merit, that means that he likes the initiative. Para rin naman ito sa ating mga kababayan na nangangailangan ng tulong with regards to merit issue. Let's just be optimistic and supportive with this kind of initiative.

@OP, hindi ko makuha kung ano ang dapat gawin sa code na iyan at saan yan i-post. Could you please elaborate more on what to do?
136  Other / Meta / Re: Before you give merit to a newly-demoted newbie... on: September 18, 2018, 01:08:20 AM
It really sadden me to be pulled back after numerous potential post I have crated,I did create meaningful post
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder buddy. Only other people can say that your post is meaningful or not and don't judge yourself by yourself.

I hope one day I will still come back to Jr rank
We all will be as long as we persevere and be able to overcome this another hump in this forum. We just have to follow rules and regulations and avoid spamming because that is the main reason why we arrived to this situation. And importantly don't leave and quit the forum if you feel that you can do it.
137  Other / Meta / Re: Before you give merit to a newly-demoted newbie... on: September 17, 2018, 09:51:39 PM
...please make sure their post history is not filled with 1-2 line replies in spam megathreads (or bounty reports, of course).
With due respect, i think if the query/question can be answered in few words then it is good to go. Not all people who visited this forum is gifted to do a Pharmacist act, answer a single question with a poem.  Smiley

You're posts aren't perfect, but it's pretty clear you're a real account with a long post history of on-topic comments.
I know that this forum is putting emphasis to people to contribute to this forum but i think we might as well distinguish them if they are real or robot.
138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask me any questions about Bitcoin Talk and posting on: September 17, 2018, 09:09:19 PM
Another consideration is that some bounty managers are requiring earned merits from applicants to their better programmes.
This should have been considered since the implementation of the merit system to minimize spammers that earned huge amount of money to the envy of the lower ranked members that triggers them to use multiple accounts which in return multiply also the numbers of spammers/cheaters.

programmes
I noticed that ^^word got some red underline which tell that it was misspelled but i think it is the right spelling. Do this domain used American English to checked spellings and grammars rather than British Standard? You might find this question silly but i just want to know.
139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ask me any questions about Bitcoin Talk and posting on: September 17, 2018, 11:12:24 AM
New rule being implemented that demotes jr member to newbie if they don't acquire at least one merit and i am affected by this new rule because i don't have merit but i don't whine because i am pretty aware that there are so many bots spamming and polluting this forum. I will make this new rule as an inspiration to improve my skill in speaking in English to achieve that single and golden merit  Smiley.

My question is, is there any plan also to demote those accounts that ranked up years ago who does not earn a single merit even though they are here for a long time? I have observed that even though they ranked high but they are not contributing to the forum and even spamming here. I know they were here ahead of me but the purpose of merit system does not affect them.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: September 07, 2018, 02:15:23 PM
i have some bitcoins with me..any tips to invest them...dont want to spend them...should i invest in some ICO ??

Investing in ICO's are also profitable especially if projects are successful.  But the thing is how could we find one when there are thousands of them and it is very hard to  determined legit ICO's. So for me better do your research before investing.
