You, who have lost xvg on web wallet, can blame only yourself. It was said month ago here, I was said so many times on telegram, it was on slack. I had some xvg on web wallet also, although it's not safe, but I had month to transfer them to my electrum, which I did, because I care about my investments. I'm reading what is new, I'm part of community at channels...etc. So if you're that type of hodler who doesn't care about coins after buying it and just hodl for long term why do you even used web wallet? Web wallets are dangerous and if used then only temporarily. And if you are not that type of hodler I bet you were online at least thousands times in those 5 weeks and you could easily read that web wallet is not recommended and that it's going to b offline. I'm sorry for your lost xvg, but it's your fault, now you just fake blame dev and whole verge team. And that's pathetic.

So xvg has a transparent ledger that obfuscates IP addresses? What's the advantage to that over using Bitcoin via tor?
Many times I see this question.

Hey guys, can you please help? I sent some xvg to my paper wallet. Itīs been 12 hours now. Through Electrum wallet I checked balance, it arrived but transaction is not verified yet and there is only 1 confirmation. Is that normal? I sent form bittrex with auto-set fee. Thank you very much for any answer.
Reopened. Okay seems like XVG electrum has this issue : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330626.0I have my xvg transactions confirmed here http://yiimp.ccminer.org/explorer/XVGbut Electreum xvg still writing all my transactions as unverified. But reopening electrum doesnt work and deleting blockchain headers neither. Thx yeah, it should work for any future transactions. i'm still looking into it. in the mean time, they are spendable though. OK. I let my xvg in paper wallet. Hope they will be spendable in future . Next issue is when I want to sweep paper wallet to coinomi or xvg android wallet there is no sweep option. I need to fill passphrase which I obv dont have with my paper wallet, I only have private key and so cannot restore wallet on android. you can convert your seed phrase into a private key using this tool: https://coinomi.com/recovery-phrase-tool.htmlYes, but I don't have seed phrase, I printed xvg paper wallet, so I have only pB adress and private key. Coinomi should have this sweep option to restore wallet from private key, but for xvg there is none, same for xvg apk. |

Is Verge coin really work of one person? If so it hardly can compete against concurency and climb to dreamy 1 dollar coin. One person canīt do all, tech dev, bussiness negotiation, marketing, advertsing etc.
This is what is most dangerous for investment. One man work. What if he got ill or worse ( I certainly dont want that) - whole project gone ?
If there is team behind Verge, where can one find out information about them ?
our code is all open source, so if i were to get ill or worse? the chain would still be fine. there are many people in the team that do marketing, etc.. what is it that you need? Thank you very much for answer. Glad to hear that you are not the only one behind the project. It should be great to briefly describe most important people of team in Black paper. Who is responsible for what etc. It will definitely attract new wave of investors and whole project will look more professional. Thanx for all great work you have done till now. |
