121  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: February 27, 2018, 12:03:56 AM
I think even without bitcoin paper money would get less and less. I think I'm gonna miss it though. I think there will still be some paper money for decades though, some countries will get rid of it earlier than others.

I bet some people will also make collections out of them and they will still get some value.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: let us promote BITCOIN on: February 26, 2018, 12:19:44 AM
Bitcoin is great and doesn't even need us to promote it, the fomo will do it automatically.

We should however contact schools and other education institutions to teach people young about bitcoin as it might be the currency of the future. It can also be fun to practice math with it.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: February 26, 2018, 12:18:13 AM
It's a real shame that most people lack the education, I wish my school taught me how to do taxes. At least I had economics classes, back then I wasn't as interested though. I guess bitcoin made me a lot more interested in economics. Now I love economics and have no idea why I went into STEM. Both are really useful though.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: February 26, 2018, 12:17:07 AM
Well what's good and what's bad? I'm sure it will reduce profits, but it might make the oil industry focus on better things. They can focus on sustainable plastics, using oil for other purposes and maybe even find a way to store energy into oil for easy transportation.  Who knows what technology will bring.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply on: February 26, 2018, 12:16:04 AM
These are always confusing, I remember being really confused about the hyperdeflation of germany before WW2, the money was losing value rapidly, while nowadays when we're talking about inflation we're talking about dollars being printed and the value slowly going down every year.

I always use Bitcoin now to understand, bitcoin is deflationary, after the limit is all mined the supply will decrease because of lost coins and dying people, meanwhile it's mooning in value.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin on: February 25, 2018, 11:42:45 PM
Decentralization, freedom, increase of value, easily storable and easy to hide, easy to prove your identity with and some day it might even be used to prove someone made a video or speech or not as video's and speeches will be able to be faked by very good software.

128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: February 25, 2018, 11:40:40 PM
Yes, it is the mode of payment on dark web, since it is decentralize and untraceable. It is the negative side of bitcoin because the identity of transactors are anonymous.
I think Bitcoin will be used less for this in the future, as Artificial intelligence might find ways to find correlating addresses with people. I think Monero and other anon crypto's might take over that job, leaving bitcoin with a cleaner name.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza day with Lightning network on: February 25, 2018, 05:16:36 PM

131  Other / Off-topic / Re: How hopeful you are with Bitcoin ???? on: February 21, 2018, 09:47:47 PM
Why did you post this here? This can go in Bitcoin Discussion forum.

I am very hopeful about Bitcoin. It's prices goes down and goes up but it is a innovation that helps everyone. It's price will go up when it is used by millions of people. In 2018 more people will start using Bitcoin and its price will go up.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Movies You Have Ever Watched on: February 21, 2018, 09:33:40 PM
Every musical except South Park
Titanic

Agreed that Netflix's Death Note was disappointing except for Willem Dafoe.

I watched Netflix's Death Note last month and it was so stupid.  I have watched the original Death Note and the Netflix veyrsion is completely different. They didn't need to change the focus at all.

Why do so many adaptations completely suck?
133  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to clean your face? Except water. What are the products to use? on: February 21, 2018, 11:51:34 AM
If you’re washing your face twice a day but you still have oily skin and pimples, try applying a toner to your forehead, nose, and chin daily. Exfoliate your skin once a week to get rid of dead skin cells, and do a facial at home or at a salon to keep your face looking fresh.

Also stay away from any face wash that has microbeads in it. Microbeads are very harmful to your skin.
134  Other / Off-topic / Re: Batman killed his parents ! on: February 17, 2018, 09:47:28 PM
Did you write this yourself? This is a very interesting story.

Batman killing his parents makes a lot of sense because that is the reason he became batman. If no one had killed his parents that would mean Batman would never have created. So Batman kills his parents so that he can be created.
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: Laptop for gaming purposes? on: February 17, 2018, 09:43:16 PM
Gaming on a laptop is a difficult thing. Laptop overheats and causes a lot of problems.

Most gamers like to game on a desktop. On a desktop you can upgrade the graphic card and you can upgrade the RAM and the processor.

Gaming consoles are also better than gaming on Laptops.
136  Other / Meta / Re: How to have Merit? on: February 16, 2018, 12:54:40 PM
You can only get merit if someone else gives it to you.

People give merit to posts and threads they like. Try to make good threads and posts and if someone likes it then they will give you a merit.
137  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to live forever on: February 16, 2018, 12:31:27 PM
No one has found magic to live forever.

We can only live for hundred years and then we die. I hope in the future they will find something to live forever.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suggestion: Bitcoin / Altcoin mixers website on: February 15, 2018, 10:45:54 AM
Thanks everyone.

What is the cost of running this kind of service?

You need to hire developers and you need to buy servers and you need to do marketing.

I think this will be very costly to run this kind of service.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Movies You Have Ever Watched on: February 15, 2018, 10:43:55 AM
I like superhero movies and one of the best movies that I watched was the dark knight.

It was the best Batman movie that I watched.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most cryptocurrencies heading to $0, Ripple boss says on: February 15, 2018, 10:39:39 AM
Ripple boss is an idiot and a liar. He has created his centralized coin and wants other coins to go to $0. This will not happen and he is lying to promote his coin.

Stop listening to people like him.
