121  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: August 29, 2018, 08:26:30 AM
All that we are taught in school and university are side directions, the only direct object is the economy. Every person on earth has the issue of earning money, preserving and multiplying capital, but for some reason, not everyone teaches the economy and wants to understand it.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: August 28, 2018, 09:06:04 AM
This statement is complete nonsense and here is the proof:
when you open your own business, then there is a chance that you will lose everything and if you keep the savings in your local currency: Venezuelan Bolivar, Turkish lira, Russian Ruble, Ukrainian hryvnia, you can also lose some of your savings. Crypto currency also shows unprofitable results for many, but the Crypto currency is more likely to recover its positions than the above mentioned currencies.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait? on: August 28, 2018, 08:30:50 AM
The present situation of the market has caused panic into the minds of some crypto enthusiasts. Some have not seen so much dip as this. One thing i know is that, crypto is very volatile. So no matter how much it falls, it will definitely rise back. Just watch out for what will happen in few weeks' time.
I will only urge you to wait and do not sell in panic.
I can wait, it's not a problem. In this case, the main attitude, positive thinking and a clear understanding of your goal. Oh yeah, and you need to look less graphs))
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Alt market is testing you: Will you break! on: August 28, 2018, 08:21:09 AM
I will not break. I have a clear and pronounced position on my assets. I will keep up to the next growth of the market, let it be in 3 months, half a year or a year.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: August 28, 2018, 08:08:47 AM
A year ago everyone said that if you want to buy in the long term, then buy at any price and Hodl. But no, it's not, choosing the right time to buy an asset is very important. And the Hodl strategy still shows itself well if you bought coins at the right time.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your cause of chose to trade Crypto? on: August 28, 2018, 08:01:50 AM
I didn't buy/sell anything other than crypto currency. I'm still interested in the direction of crypto-currency and I will continue to deal with them. In addition, only in the crypto currency can you make a profit for the 1 action from 10% and higher for a couple of days, without using the shoulder.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 reasons why future ICOs will use Byteball instead of Ethereum (+screenshots) on: August 27, 2018, 09:18:34 PM
This is a good marketing comparison. I have long thought about including one of the coins based on DAG technology, and perhaps it will be not only IOTA, but also Byteball. I'm wondering if there is such a big difference between these platforms, why until now almost all companies conduct ICO on the platform of the Etherium?
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are you still using MEW? on: August 27, 2018, 09:08:47 PM
From various sources, MyEtherWallet (MEW) are not under development and maintenance any more. Even its founders has confirmed that they are switching to develop a new platform called mycrypto and encourage everybody to move there property to there.
But IMO, MEW or mycrypto is just a gateway to access your real wallet in the blockchain, so, both of them are still fine event MEW is not maintained anymore, right?

I still use MEW, I really like this wallet. Anyone who finds this wallet unreliable, they should grow wiser and learn how to correctly store passwords from a wallet. I have had no problems with this purse for more than a year of use.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: August 27, 2018, 08:44:24 PM
In addition to the use of the etherium in IСO, many investors see it as a valuable asset. Investment funds acquire not only bitcoin, then the etherium as well. You are right, there is not a limited number of coins, but let's not forget that the etherium network is growing and as long as this happens new coins are not considered excess.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget the past and move ahead on: August 27, 2018, 08:34:18 PM
I think most of the newcomers came to the crypto currency in periods of growth peaks: May-August 2017 and December-January 2018. Unfortunately, this majority of people began their acquaintance with the crypto currency with an error. I am sure that all those who have realized the error will be rewarded and will be able to increase their capital.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Do not Read! on: August 17, 2018, 09:04:28 AM
Guys, you just imagine how many people are interested in crypto currency, it's just a boom. Many people have the opportunity to get rich and devote their free time to deepening the theme of crypto currency.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: August 17, 2018, 08:53:38 AM
The only goal of governments is to get the maximum amount of tax and minimize tax hiding. Therefore, they impose restrictions on crypto-currencies. I think those countries that will develop in this direction will benefit.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: how does devaluation of national currencies affect the crypto ecosystem? on: August 17, 2018, 08:39:26 AM
as per title how you recon the market is affected by individuals in countries like turkey, venesuella, brasil, argentina, russia, china, india (etc) which currently experience major currency devaluations against the dollar? normally it would be rather common practice to hold dollars as a hedge against the central bank's fiat denominations. though in countries like india they prefer gold. so now that an alternative is present how much buying pressure would it create to perhaps affect the bitcoin trend?
I think that there is no global influence. Citizens of the country where the devaluation occurs will invest their savings in some assets, including crypto-currencies.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about NEM? on: August 16, 2018, 08:02:21 AM
For a long time I want to buy this asset, the more so the price is very attractive.
Are NEM's capabilities in demand now and in the future?
The only thing that confuses me is the small trading volume among the top 20 (not including tezos)
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Alts Do You Support For The Long Game? on: August 16, 2018, 07:51:38 AM
Seems like every day I see crypto twitter fighting over the future of alts and whether they will make it. Seems like a real division in opinion, so I'm curious which alt coins do you see surviving and thriving long term and why?

I see a lot of potential in both Internxt and Achain.

Internxt: decentralized cloud storage is a BOOMING industry and only growing. Internxt is appealing to the everyday consumer with their easy to use service and beautiful interface. Currently sitting at 2M MC, but last bull run it was over 30M and that was without a working product and partnerships with Civic and BlackBerry.

Achain: second most dApps only to ETH. 34M MC and has the potential, money, service, and team behind it to make it a success.

Which alts do you guys like?

I have high hopes for Cappasity, Stratis, Qash, Tierion, Metaverse ETP.
Of all the assets so far only Metaverse ETP justifies my expectations and behaves strongly in the market.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin should I trade currently ? on: August 16, 2018, 07:46:59 AM
I want to spend a part of my money to trade, but I'm considering about which one should I buy and sell this time, my friends advice LCS, BNB, XPR, ONT.
How do you think guys ? And how about collect a little bit ETH at this time ?

I think this is kind of 50/50 bad advice.
LCS is a new token after the ICO and it is still unknown how it will behave.
XRP is a separate story with many reasons why you should not buy it.
BNB is a good asset, you should look to it and look for the best entry point
ONT is a good asset.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: August 15, 2018, 09:04:41 AM
This and other questions are part of a questionnaire that we, a research team from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) are doing. It seeks to understand the drivers' usage of cryptocurrencies by the end user such as you and me. Considering 10 different dimensions, from perceived usefulness to privacy to profitability, among others.
It takes on average 3 minutes to answer.

Here is the link for the questionnaire:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/cryptocurrencies_usage

More details if you want to know more about it:
For this, it was created a questionnaire with Likert type scale questions. These dimensions will then be used to construct a model, based on the traditional Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed in 1989, and some others developed afterwards, but with more adapted to the cryptocurrencies ecosystem. Then it will be done some data analysis and compilation of results.
This questionnaire has some focus on the financial area, but this does not mean it is the most important. We know there are some other dimensions not being addresses in this questionnaire, such as decentralisation/government influence, that may be addressed in the future.
After analysing and publishing the thesis and papers I will post on this forum with infographics and the most important conclusions of the study.

There are no open questions, but you can post here or message me about this.

Thank you for your time! Best Regards,
The University Institute of Lisbon research team

How can they be used in everyday life when there is no normal bridge from crypto-currency to fiat and vice versa. As soon as there is this bridge, I will use money transfers.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo will hit 200$ again? on: August 15, 2018, 07:26:10 AM
hello guys

you think Neo will hit 200$ again?

or it will be dead ?

Of course, sometime in the future this is possible, but I think it is necessary to set more terrestrial goals, for example 30, 45, 60 dollars for 1 neo.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better for hodl? ETC or NEO? on: August 15, 2018, 07:22:39 AM
ETC was just listed and trading on coinbase. Comparing with NEO, which one is better for holding?
Despite the fact that the ETC listing on coinbase, I think it's better to buy Neo. What does the team of the ETC do? What product are they preparing? What will create liquidity for their tokens? while there are no answers.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: August 12, 2018, 12:00:41 PM
There is much to invest. Such income opportunities as in the market of altcoyins are nowhere else, but it is also one of the most volatile markets.
