You have just to add that line. In "my address" you should put the ip address of the host, if you use a vpn put there the ip of the vpn, in case you are hosting in your own pc you have a dynamic ip so first need to use a service like no-ip or similar in order to get a static hostname to associate everytime your ip change. |

The effective balance is your balance every 1440 blocks, so if you have 100 DIRA at block 1 and 2000 at block 500, your effective balance will be 100 until the 2000 balance reach 1440 confirmations. CPU mining still not enabled it seems. Devs ^^ can you give us an update please? It's a bit annoying!
Sorry for the issue but it really doesn't depend on us, the server is still unstable, if we enable the cpu mining you'll have a bad user experience with interruptions everytime the server goes down and client lose the connection. hi i wanna host on ubuntu.

Warning: your account public key "MY PUBLIC KEY" has not been published to the blockchain. This means it is not as protected as other accounts. You must make an outgoing transaction to fix this issue. (Set account info, send a message, buy an alias, send money, ...)
As the message says you have to make a transaction to obtain a public key, the simplest thing to do is to send 1 DIRA to youself.

Just mentioning BrainMining on the thread topic caught me eyes , so it will be a combination of brain CPU and in future GPU mining ! , I love how you weighted Brainmining vs CPU AND GPU . Will download the wallet and join this , just for the sake of BrainMining  . Wish you guys the best . CPU mining will be enabled only when we are sure the host solved its problem to avoid users issues. If your client is in mining mode it should be able to catch the work as the server broadcast it but to be sure you can wait for our announcement. The message on the popup it's due to the fact there is only one-two generators (DIRA own nodes) due to lack or forgers. I tried to put a wrong passphrase and i'm logging. What can you say about this behaviour ?
When you put a passhphrase you create a custom account with that passphrase. You have to provide a really strong passphrase to create a secure account. You could use a tool or create one of your own. If you click the first button this will generate a passphrase of 12 words and related address. For ex. you enter as passphrase "789", this will generate an account with a certain address associated with that passphrase. Every passphrase will have a different account. |

People. It is the normal behavior of the NXT platform brain account. When you put the address on the client you are in a sort of a "read only" mode until you provide the passphrase. "Passphrase" is actually your account. You can even create your account from a custom passphrase by clicking the center button when the client start, but be sure to use a really strong password of at least 12 words.

Glad to hear that. The forging is red because you first need to wait 1440 block to be able to forge, that is about a day (1440 blocks). After that you can start forging. ABOUT THE BRAINMINING (BrainMath): calcs are not parsed, sot "*" and "+" have the same priority. In the near future we'll add more kinds of "BRAIN" tasks (not only math). This is the the more basilar we could implement at the moment. If you have any suggestion about what kind of tasks you will like more feel free to suggest us. |

People who are still experiencing a zero balance and other issues: 1) Close the client 2) Delete DIRA folder in Users/Roaming 3) Start again in order to force a full rescan of the blockchain. As soon as possible we'll answers to the other users questions. and i can see my private key in explorer, can i add it manually ?

I solved many blocks and some math problems.. Balance seems to say 0..
And the block height doesnt seem to add up correctly: at mining it says I found block 2473 and under my balance it says 1274!
Am I missing something or?

Did you try to access with your passphrase? Click on the central button as the client star, you should be able to see your public key and solve the issue. |

DIRA Brain mining has some bugs, correct answers are still "wrong"  We are experiencing problems with the server that went down and the brain mining is out of sync. As soon as possible we'll fix it. Hi Dev! I would like to ask how to mine DIRA? what is the minimum hardware specification to mine? is it using GPU, CPU or both?
At the moment you can only mine with CPU through the client. We are working on a GPU miner and soon we'll add the CPU miner in the website so you can mine without the client and even a standalone light client so you don't need to open the website. Stay tuned. Please have patience because we are hard working to make these (apparently simple) things works right. |

how to set up the node?
Check it out for the website, you'll find a dedicated page. I have done transaction, so I am able to gain my public key (from explorer online, as I could check) but client is still telling me I cannot forge.
Also I have error "Historical data as of height 0 not available." What can i do with that?

You cannot forge because 1) You need a public key, 2) You need a minimal amount of DIRA, 3) You need to wait 1440 blocks to have effective balance confirmed to forge. What is forging and how to do it ?
With forging you'll gain the transaction fees of the blocks that your client forges. In order to forge you need an important amount of coins (so we lease 500.000 DIRA to the first 10 nodes). Good, created account - node:

Yes you are, please mail us both IP and account address. For the rewards just wait some time. This might be a dumb question but what is the passphrase required for sending DIRA.
It ain't the seed given to us at the start of creation.
You have to create an address first. At DIRA client starting you create an address with the first button (and it will generate a passphrase) or you can entering in an account created with a your custom passphrase with the central button. If you create a custom passphrase it is raccomanded to be more than 29 words length. Remember the as original NXT platform, it is a brain wallet so your passphrase is in fact your account. |

I need your help because i have this message now after clicking on "Refresh wallet" : You cannot forge because your account has no public key. Please make an outgoing transaction first.
For forging you need a public key, mine some DIRA through Brain/CPU mining, after that make a transaction (even to your same address) of 1 DIRA so you obtain a public key. Why does it says Java not installed when I just installed it?

You should be able to have confirmed balance after the first block forged, after 1440 blocks the transaction are permanent. If you should experiencing zero balance after that please contact us via PM o mail ( info@diracoin.org) so we can sort it out. here is.
