But if the difficulty will continue grow up, the price will also grows.
Except when it doesn't. How's that latest LTC ~30% difficulty bump impacting the price?

The only "news" so far was a random poster saying it would be on there, the same random poster who accused one of the recent alt coin wallets of being riddled with malware without any proof.
So I wouldn't get your hopes up, just because BTER added it isn't a guarantee BTC-E will. Look at BBQ, and BTB, as recent examples.

Sooo we're all just gonnna ignore the hack that happened earlier?
Im still missing my 1k coins(confirmed), was hoping it would of been fixed by this morning. I have to assume everyone else still lost all their coins from before the attack as well?
If anyone with alot of success feels like donating, thanks in advance

I think it's hilarious how litecoin devotees argue they are the only true alt coin. Other than having alot of adopters due to it being one of the first non ASIC scrypt coins, what does it bring to the cryptocurrency community that BTC doesn't? It's got relatively slow confirmations(compared to all the LTC clones to come out), a dwindling cost/benefit ratio when it comes to mining at current difficulty(locked in for 20 more days afaik), and doesn't solve the micro transaction problem BTC recently admitted to.
Now Im not going to foolishly claim that any of the other alt coins are currently any better, Im just pointing out that there is still a huge market for them because there is still plenty of room for improvement and innovation outside of "new ways to mine!'. Devs need to realize if they want a alt coin to succeed long term, they need the non miner community to have some incentive to use it as well. Otherwise you're just another pump and dump, which miners will leave to die when more profits are elsewhere.

Why you did choose LTC instead BTC?
This, you should at least consider taking both. To that point, you should also give your fans the option to still pay in fiat as well. Don't think of crytpocurrency as a either/or situation, think of it as a addition to your online presence.

These in wallet miners always only give me 5-6k hashespersec on my 7950, no clue what Im doing wrong. I pull 500+ kh/s with gpuminer on other scrypt coins, any ideas? Always follow the instructions given creating the conf file, always get the shoddy results until a p2p pool is set up and I can use my gpuminer.
seems these wallet miners use cpu by default? my cpu usage is 100% but my gfx are idle, no clue how to fix.

YAC cashout in full effect, congrats to the creators and early adopters. Over 60k coins offloaded already and we're only a few hours into it's exchange debut.

Us linuxers had to compile from source so i guess we're all good. As usual Pretty much from the start YAcoin has been LINUXcoin, seems the dev has a OS of choice and anyone who shares it was able to truly reap the benefits from being a early adopter. Windows instructions: https://github.com/pocopoco/yacoin/blob/master/doc/build-msw.txtLinux instructions: https://github.com/pocopoco/yacoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txtWhere do you see any favoritism? You could even do "practice builds" few days ago to make sure you had everything u needed once the real genesis block is added and announced. Now if u say YAC is not very n00b friendly... then thats another story... <speculating>I think bitcoin probably did not have a GUI for quite some time... </speculating> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=200345.0TLDR - windows compiler gave about 10-20% the output of the linux one on release, pretty huge discrepency during the "early adopter" mining phase of a coin. Of course those who used linux and got thousands of coins that night have no complaints(unless they have any empathy in them like tacotime). With that and now the windows client being the only one with a virus it's clear that YAcoin is LINUXcoin.

I wonder who took an effort to hack some people accounts to post nonsense about yac? hmm maybe some pissed off individual who missed early start? The authors behind FTC/RYC/BTB, it's taking attention away from their scamcoins and they are trying to discred it The coin I mined isn't a scam, but the others definitely are!

It's going to be interesting to see if a coin comes out that truly is focused on growing the coin instead of getting rich quick. If one did you'd see it take off as far as community support is concerned instead of just miner support(there is a big difference). Every coin outside of bitcoin has been first and foremost about making the developers and earliest adopters money, to truly innovate we need the developers focus to be on something other than immediate financial gratification.

Thanks!
This coin definitely needs more support if it's going to survive, threads like this are a big help.

Excellent conspiracy theories in this thread. You guys continue to entertain me. The reality is that you had to be there for the launch. I was browsing the forums at 1AM PST and saw the launch of it, downloaded, and profited big time. All you guys who were hours late and got caught out by the massive zerg rush can continue QQ'ing.
So which version of windows do you run?
