Also LTC has ASICs coming and the block reward halving soon. Holding anything other than BTC or LTC is retarded. At this point everyone should have some LTC as a major portfolio component.

I agree. I am not sure why it has stayed so low. The only thing I can think of is there is to many coins and miners are still dumping. I was a very early miner on this coin and did sell off some of mine before it hit the exchanges but have held quite a few since the beginning. I refuse to sell anymore of these at super low prices. I am in it for the long haul! Price is low because someone put wall on buying side and he is buying at lower price! Someone is collecting huge amount of tops and later he will define the price and sell it for at least 100 satoshi! That is what I think! This is very valuable coin, people just don't release that! The buy wall was yesterday, and I think it was just someone trying to sell his coins. Now it's just people trying to get out. I've lost over 0.7 BTC on this damned coin. |

A new team member has discovered some bugs in the trading engine. They need to be fixed to avoid exploitation and maintain integrity.

When? And if you don't know, will you tell us before releasing? I suggest only way to save face is to put the site back online and let people withdraw their coins. Leave trading disabled and update the main page with a big red warning: MARKETS HALTED FOR AN INDEFINITE TIME DUE TO TRADING ENGINE UPGRADE. Any changes/upgrades you want to do you can make them on a test server. There's no excuse not to. |

I didn't sell at 9 when I had the chance then there were huge dumps like 5-6 BTC gone in an instant. Now some asshole put 16BTC buy wall @ 8.
Does this coin have POS or are there plans of introducing it? It would help the coin and drive the price up by quite a lot.

Mine solo until there will be pools! Open wallet, close it. Put .conf in your appdata coin folder, edit solo-miner.bat (downlad and unpack miner) by adding your username/pass (from .comf file) and gpu settings. Start wallet again, wait until it syncs and start solo-miner.bat. If your best shares parameter changes means you're solominig successfully! Pools are not ready but will be ready soon! This is what I did. however all I got was a no-suitable longpool message and lots of share below target messages. Before I did this I was unable to start the miner at all. My best shares is changing(up to 6.35K now) however I have a feeling I'm still doing something wrong. My solo bat file: thorcoinminer -o 127.0.0.1:29551 -u enterusername -p enterpassword --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1393167677 -I 15 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8000 --temp-target 70 --auto-fan --gpu-vddc 1.100 --gpu-memclock 1350 --gpu-engine 945 What gpus do you have? change that to -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8192 or 30592 depends on your gpu |

No regrets, I can relax completely regarding the value of MINT now. Bought in @ 4 and @ 7, sold half @ 15 to buy @ 14 but tiredness got me. Did a lot of day-trading. Next day it was @ 20 so I cursed and didn't buy back. Sold the other half @ 52. Now bought back @ 30. So would you have been better off if you just bought and held? Yes. Fucked up. |
