who's going to mine this shit when the block reward is 1 and the total supply is in the billions.
THIS is the thing that holds me back from buying it. Can someone please answer that question? I just lost a ton of bitcoin with pennie cents so you better be able to tell the answer to that if you want me buying this.

Low difficult and price will go higher so that atleast some people find it profitable to mine.

This is the reply I got when asking the dev if they're considering of introducing POS: Hi lets see how it plays out. This is the whole purpose of Top. We can hard fork it later if necessary.
It stands to reason Generating more coins would probably not increase value. Whether they were POS or POW
And Stake holders will continue to mine to support the network. It does not require much hash power.

So i concioulsy decide not to buy into half baked things like this. Note: the devs already know that they will have trouble with sustaining the network. They don't know how to handle those problems that are sure to arise in the future and already factored in a hardfork for later which they don't know now how to do (otherwise that wouldn't be an issue now because already solved) because the problem for which they have no solution now needs to be delt with later and not now. That is half baked buying into promises which i promised to myself never to do again. With buying top you are essentially betting on the devs being able to solve a problem later wich they can not solve now. Basically the rewarddrop (which is the killer-feature for this coin) is causing problems with sustainability of the network. Sloppy answers like seen above to this fundamental question from the devs is a red flag for me. I think this is a ponzi because it is probably not sustainable. Have fun trading hot potatoes ... (now you can hate on me again)

I don't think so, the good thing is that there will be no new coins (top) to dump the price and there will be always miners to sustain network. I will mine top coin all the time until I sell all my coins, then I will stop mining because I will have no benefit of it but persons who bought will give some mining power to coin to sustain network. The main thing is that there will be no new coins to dump the prace!!!

While I do agree that having PoS would be cool, I don't think that it damages the coin all that much. Our community has always been generous and we have cultivated a support network that will continue to grow as long as we keep moving forward. Just because the dev would like to see how things play out, does not mean he is not willing or knowledgeable enough to do a hard fork. Knowing how he has acted in the past, he will probably put it to a vote for the community to decide, and he will follow through like he has with every other request we've had. To have zero faith in him and this community is a mistake in my opinion, and I guess time will tell. From my perspective, TOP is still undervalued and makes for a great investment. The projects we have on the horizon are going to be awesome. Thank you for your opinions and views, as I for one am always willing to listen and evaluate criticism. It keeps us on the right track! Oh, and I will be mining TOP forever and ever

People are selling TOP at 5 satoshi but be advised, the other side is buying for 5 satoshi cause they know that they will have a profit!

TOP has all potential to go up to 200 satoshi (maybe even 300)! People simply doesn't know how much they are losing by selling at this low price!

I agree. I am not sure why it has stayed so low. The only thing I can think of is there is to many coins and miners are still dumping. I was a very early miner on this coin and did sell off some of mine before it hit the exchanges but have held quite a few since the beginning. I refuse to sell anymore of these at super low prices. I am in it for the long haul!

I am in it for the long haul! Price is low because someone put wall on buying side and he is buying at lower price! Someone is collecting huge amount of tops and later he will define the price and sell it for at least 100 satoshi! That is what I think! This is very valuable coin, people just don't release that!

The buy wall was yesterday, and I think it was just someone trying to sell his coins. Now it's just people trying to get out. I've lost over 0.7 BTC on this damned coin.
