121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Profitability 2014 + on: June 14, 2014, 04:12:07 AM
In the last week I believe script n  was the most profitable. Not that it was super profits mind you. X11 and x13 seem to go sky high with hot new coins then they die off again until the next big pump.

122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really believe that Bitcoin will hit 1,000,000 on: June 14, 2014, 02:43:15 AM
A better question might be is How much do you think bitcoin prices will go up compared to the value of the dollar on june 13,2014   It could go up to trillions theoretically if the dollar's value dropped enough. It wouldn’t mean much as far as the value.

123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I know which coins go up in price? on: June 14, 2014, 02:36:30 AM
As other's have mentioned its impossible to get it right all the time. Key is to guess correctly enough of the time. One way to predict prices come up say an altcoin gets added to cryptsy make sure you have some before it gets added.

Those are some serious coolers. Does the chip run super hot or are those extras you had laying around from another project?

125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news from China causing panic sell again? on: June 13, 2014, 06:18:18 AM
I also think it's due to the FBI sale. China news affects the market very little lately. I think we could have more dramatic drops before the 27th

Ok thanks for the links. Anybody else actually own 2 different dragon miners? I am still very curious about the build quality and differences between them. Whether its hash rate, noise, voltage, etc

Thanks

I can't wait for my Jpc pool hash@me to win a jackpot. I get all excited every time the jackpot hits like 10mil or higher lol. Watching for who won!

128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Dragon miner differences on: June 12, 2014, 09:58:57 AM
I am interested in buying a 1t dragon miner. I was wondering if there is a difference between the different vendors models. Also confused about some of the clones.

129  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining difficulty slowing down over the next 3 months? on: June 12, 2014, 08:49:50 AM
Until the new miners actually are released I still believe our jumps will be a bit lower than usual. I think for the next 2 months no huge increase. But thats just my opinion. When spoondolies and knc get their new miners out i think it will have a big jump but until then nothing unusual.

I would also like to point out that I believe they are no longer accepting coupons.  I think they got mad that people resold them. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Really enjoying this thread so far. I have 1 blizzard miner mining away. I am thinking about getting a raspberry pi to control it instead of my old laptop. But I was wondering if there was a lot of issues for you guys with the raspberry pi usb?

Also if it helps the information in this thread i am using the generic zeus settings with only change to a 300 clk. I am slowly building my clock rate as I test and retest.

Thanks

132  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: how to count the income per Mhash by difficulty on: June 12, 2014, 08:22:32 AM
If your mining bitcoins I suggest using something like coinwarz.com Just plug in all the pertinent informations as the listed profits on "most" pools are not so accurate. For checking altcoins there is a thread where somebody compares a lot of the major multipools where you can get an idea of your likely income. Sorry i couldnt find the link for ya but its updated every day in the altcoin area

I had some confusion as well.

Download the new wallet

get the address from the receive coins tab.

copy the address

go to coinking.io

enter your address on screen where it says enter your new piggy address.

A new screen will load with a unique pig address to send your old coins.

copy it send the old pig coins.

Anymore questions i will be glad to help.

I know its a bit late but I seen another coin with a fantastic feature assuming it was working correctly. How about a wallet that you can send coins via sms?

137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Silk Road 2.0 has paid back 82% while Mt. Gox has paid none ! on: June 08, 2014, 04:25:54 AM
Just because he is shady? Not to nitpick but I really do think they are doing a service. I think we can all agree the war on drugs is a failure and is an excuse for governments all over the world to take some of our freedom. Just because I don't agree with something doesn't mean I think the person doing it is bad. And in this case I suppose i am proved correct as silkroad has paid back most of the funds and anticipate fully paying off in another month or so.

I am still doing a bit better than break even. Certainly not making much. Now the money comes with a hot coin such as xc made good money for a few days with that. And a few other coins I cannot remember right now.

Thanks for this wonderful resource. It comes in super handy for me.  I do have one question is it possible from the user side to eliminate some of the pools being charted to reduce the clutter my vision isn't fantastic and its very hard for me to read some days.

Thanks again

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Perhaps one of the best altcoins of 2014 - PesetaCoin on: June 08, 2014, 03:33:28 AM
In a world of coins critiqued by there wallet style PesetaCoin should be at the top or near it. The dev works non stop on adding features. There is a marketplace. In a nutshell most of the things people think a coin should have to be successful.

My point is a lot of those requests are just talk. Otherwise the price on this coin and a few similar coins would be much higher. And the half finished new coins would be scorned.  That clearly isn't the case.  I hold a few hundred of these sadly I just don't see any big push to this coin in the near future.
