I tend to avoid the overly hyped ICOs, there's still plenty of decent ones about though, just takes a lot of research.

Well it's more like a job, job=investing your time. If you think a coin is really good though then it makes sense to invest money too.

Just need to research in different place, reddit is probably my favourite as there aren't so many shillers there, they just get downvoted aswell. Youtube aswell, look for people who aren't constantly talking about ICOs as they're probably less interested in the money.

Cardano and EOS potentially but we'll see how they do over the next couple of weeks, I'm not hopeful personally.

There's no set amount, it's better to think of it as a % of your money, no point in Bill Gates putting $500 in is there? I've got 30% of my money in crypto which is more than most would recommend.

I'd just pick an ICO and wait for 5-10x gains, basically gambling but $50 is nothing. Do some research if $50 is a lot to you.

Photochain and wemark worth looking into, both stock photography platforms. That's an industry that should have a real use for blockchain.

Probably best to hold it if the price is already a lot below ICO price.
