BTC
NET
DOGE
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NET]Netcoin Evolution - NOW WITH GRAVITY WELL! on: April 07, 2014, 01:06:34 AM
We are slowly realizing the power of block halving the way it should be, not the way DOGE did it. Now we are going to see how reduction in supply of a coin will make its value actually RISE not DROP like DOGE did.

I think NET and DOGE will be the only ones standing behind BTC. Even LTC is losing its luster in my opinion.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RUP] - RupayaCoin ★ India - Pakistan - Indonesia and more ★ on: April 07, 2014, 01:03:56 AM
Whats important for miners to know is NOT to place a sell order below 1,200 Satoshi as that is the base market right now at 0.010 BTC / MH/s per day.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RUP] - RupayaCoin ★ India - Pakistan - Indonesia and more ★ on: April 07, 2014, 01:03:00 AM
True, media can do wonders! Grin

However, its the early adopters and long term players that make the killing when the prices skyrocket. (Remember the Bitcoin Story, and now LTC as well)

By Q2 end or Q3 the ASIC will hit the market, and Scrypt difficulty will skyrocket  Angry, and miners with low KH/s will jump to other coins that are more profitable than LTC/Similar Coins. Most miners may point their rigs to Rupaya Coin.

So its the best time to mine, as the difficulty is still lower and you can mine using CPU.

Regards
Mining Master

Thats actually a good point. There arent that many coins that give you so much return with GPU these days. RUP is one of the few left to mine with GPU while we wait for all the new coins to be Scrypt-N based.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DOGECoin will go up 3000% again on: April 07, 2014, 12:45:23 AM
...when DOGE was 27 Satoshi then it went up to 290.

10x gain is great, but another 30x....in the near future?
2 to 5x is much more realistic.

When blocks start getting smaller in a few months, then you will see how the sellers disappear slowly. Once price starts moving everyone will remove their sell order and move it up a notch.

Currently DOGE is at a real low price of 100 Satoshi while it hovered in 225 range for a long time. So someone is accumulating a lot.

If DOGE goes up 3000% it will be worth 0.00003000 BTC. If you really think DOGE at 0.00003000 BTC will look expensive to some people, then think again.

Remember DOGE will not lose its fans. BUT very soon maybe in a few months, a typical RIG that was making 10,000 DOGE/day will make only 1,000 DOGE/day and less the next year. There wont be many to sell.

Nice.

I love the slow start, avoid the coins running up and disappearing like MOON, ZEIT and a lot of others did. This is a great coin and those not mining it will regret.

Indeed, It gives the people in South Asia time to mine some RUP with their CPU's easily. A fellow on tauruspool is mining at 0.01MH/s.

He is going to have a nice surprise  Grin

Exactly. By the way, I like your teams approach to this coin. Very impressive number of followers on facebook as well.

Yes we are getting a lots of interest on Facebook, We are in talks with South Asian news and media.

News and media do wonders. Once you get on a good exchange and sponsor an Indian or other Asian athlete or student then it will be explosive.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese people are crazy to buy NET, netcoin. They think NET is the third coin. on: April 07, 2014, 12:14:57 AM
Chinese people are crazy to buy NET, netcoin. The target price is $1-$5.

They think NET is the third coin after bitcoin and litecoin.

Top 1: bitcoin BTC
Top 2: litecoin BTC
Top 3: netcoin NET

netcoin, net, net coin, ntc - NET is the No.3 coin. NET Beyond the QRK after MEC follow up LTC

Chinese people are buying NET lot. They think the netcoin is the best coin after litecoin and bitcoin.

Maybe they are not so crazy afterall, have you looked at its run lately? over 50% just yesterday. Now taking a breather, dropping off the impatient crowd.

Based on the current hashrate and expected profitability of 0.010 BTC/Day per MH/s, if you are mining this coin, you should not place a sell order below 0.00001200 BTC or 1200 Satoshi.

Or you can wait for big exchanges. This is a coin that is halving quickly and could potentially be a good return on investment.

This coin really seems promising, started things pretty solid and I actually love the logo design.

I'm mining this coin exclusively now. Once this hits major exchanges the hashrate will skyrocket.

First I was really skeptical, but after looking at all the work the developer has put into it and even got it on two exchanges already, Im feeling more comfortable leaving my RIG to mine this coin, only.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: April 06, 2014, 08:44:27 AM
Turns out the NETCoin block halving actually helped NET jump about 50% if you base it on 164 price yesterday, now its at 225.

Pretty solid move while its midnight in USA. UP at 274 Satoshi.

Flying under the radar, I like that.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ANY coin even Attempting Mass Adoption, Seriously!!!! on: April 06, 2014, 08:39:53 AM
Obviously you can see I am new around here. I have heard about Dogecoin on CNN, Bitcoin is always in the news. What about all the other coins? I am sure all the coins want the general public to learn about them. Can anyone tell me a coin that is marketing itself to the general public in any meaningful way? One that has a real plan? I am really surprised I am asking this question!!! Shocked

NET is probably one of the only coins besides BTC that is accepted at many stores. Check out the list of websites who accept NET on netcoinfoundation.org.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why do we call these "DECENTRALIZED" when the developer is the GOD of the coin? on: April 06, 2014, 01:17:28 AM
Why? The developers have full, 100% control, or better yet, the OP who starts a thread on Bitcointalk and places a link to download wallet is in charge. OR if its a classy coin with a *.org website, the person who has access to upload files to the FTP then can change the wallet and upload a new QT that changes EVERYTHING about a coin. Hard fork it, even chain the blockchain to reroute old transactions that are "confirmed".

So can someone tell me WHY we call these "decentralized" when the dude with the password to the ftp site has 100% control?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NET]Netcoin Evolution - NOW WITH GRAVITY WELL! on: April 06, 2014, 01:04:55 AM
Hey guys,

why don't you get on poloniex and give away some coins, that will drum up interest.

Need to push NET up and above the others

Have you been watching NET? It started at 164 yesterday now around 275-300 range. This is explosive. Taking a breather, most will jump ship and will start rising again.

Old coin, no one has lots of dump anymore. Block halved. This is truly a good coin with a great name.

provide buy support with the 50 btc you took from us.
its the least you can do after losing 50 people each 95% of our investment.

that was the whole point.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][STD] StandardCoin - BUILT-IN EXCHANGE - Permanently Rising Rate on: April 05, 2014, 08:17:06 PM
This coin will never work. When the "value" drops against BTC simply trading halts. There will be no buyers. How stupid of an idea is that.
Yes, trading may hold if there are no buyers. But with this coin, at least you know your coin worth some value. With other coins, when there is no buyer, you simply lose all you investment.
For example, right now IPO investors and first round investors can sell back there coins and get back 1/4 of their investment at any time no matter if there is any new buyer or not. And I think there is no reason for them to do that as they can just keep their coins and wait for the GER to rise. This will help create huge buy support. But as time when by and there is no buy support left, people can just dump their coins and get out. When they dump at the GER on the built-in exchange, it will allow new investors to buy in at a lower price, this will create new support. For more details, visit our homepage at: http://standardcoin.net/

When trading stops there are no buyer then my investment has NO value. At least with other coins, the value drops and buyers are lined up I know I can get 20% of what I paid or whatever.

UNLESS YOU HAVE MOUNTAINS of BTC to keep buying the freshly minted STDs, in the thousands of BTC per day, (which chances are you dont) then you cant stop the coin from falling in value.

This goes to show you don't understand free market trading whatsover, you just know programming. When you went to school you shoudlve taken some economics courses. This is impossible, if this would've worked then 42 would be worth 1000 BTC now lol.
