LTC made me some good returns in the last few days and thinking of buying a few more neptunes.  if someone wants me to use their reseller ID, thinking of buying 2 or 3 more.  Open to giving me .5 BTC for each use of the reseller id?  Considering that the free one is 10% off, each link should be worth about 1BTC...  asking for 1/2 that should be reasonable.

Hit me up if interested.

https://www.kncminer.com/?resellerid=277

I have bought 3 neptunes, I will do the same like others. If you want? Grin

If we got 10, then for every piece 10% Hashpower - Pool = ghash.io
Every shareholder 10% per piece!

you can check my profile on ebay send me an pm.

thx

fubly

I keep seeing these reseller links that go nowhere, are they just used that quickly or is it just a joke to make me check the link? Smiley

does this firware work on the 30GH?

I would also like to know if it works on the 30GHz, or if anyone has tried.

Awesome, happy to help.

I just noticed I capitalized Sudo and that wont work, make sure its just lower case sudo. I edited the commands to make them correct.

Ugg I wrote that too early, sometimes I swear I need to re-read my notes.

I changed the code to make it correct my fault sorry about that. It should be correct now to bring an interface up.

Great updates. Is it possible to get a quick note on what will be done about getting the shares back on an Exchange or an automated place to trade shares?
128  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: **US** BitFury Setup Guide on: November 24, 2013, 04:01:42 PM
First try a different ethernet cable its possible it may be bad. Its not able to bring your Ethernet interface up which could mean a lot of things possibly even a bad Network jack on the PI. However I would try a different cable first.

Also try to see if you can bring it up manually.
Code:
 sudo ifup eth0

You can also use Nano to edit the interface file yourself with
Code:
sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces
And then add these lines below to the file, however change it to your Network IPs and DNS of your ISP.

This will statically assign your IP to eth0

Code:

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static

address 192.168.1.10
gateway 192.168.1.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
dns-nameserver 208.67.220.220 208.67.222.222

Hope this helps.

It took 8 days. Not to bad at all.

Received my RMA replacement board today, its working perfectly. Thanks MegaBigPower!

Yeah, I should use that and just change it to turn A on and the speed to grab 53 instead of 52, I may even attempt 54 since my cooling is pretty good. Thanks Spiccioli, and Keefe.

Any plans to have the drop down on the browser show maybe in parenthesis your Set reserve amount? Right now it just shows your full account balance, I know I have a reserve set but id feel better if I saw it listed Smiley

Used a modded EOL card with 15 chips for this test. At 0.9V

sexy...

i'm a little surprised at your chip speeds, though. At 0.9v, I'd found that dropping to 53 was most stable.

i think these numbers are for voltage around 0.9v (can't remember for sure and too lazy to test right now)

(of course, chainminer autotuned a few chips, but initially 53 gave me the least errors)

I am very surprised as well. I has hoping for aforementioned per chip speeds. Are these results from a 16chip H-card? Any beefy heatsinks?

Is the only way to notch your speed up by making a best.cnf file? Also whats unlcear to me is when I make that best cnf file what all should be in it? Example: 1   AIfDSo   53  <-- is that the only line you need for each chip or should it be everything that the .stat.log has minus the very bottom readout?

Id love to have some updates about or maybe even a guide to Chainminer, my biggest issue is the lack of failover and how it provides so little info while running. Unless you check the logs on the PI its quite useless.

My miner stopped mining after ghash.io went down too. I have it pointed at btcguild right now, but I would still prefer to mine at ghash.io

What does the current setup in Chainminer provide? I know there are 3 spots to write your pool addresses in. Does that not have failover? Being able to failover to another pool seems absolutely necessary to have a long uptime.

As far as I am aware all the three pools does is split hashing power among the 3 pools. If you want to mine at ghash.io just use the nl1.ghash.io:3334 settings instead of us1.

I'm not a bitfury owner so I haven't been following the thread, but why is it that cgminer doesn't support the hardware?

Is it a closed design or something?

I couldn't say, I am talking with Kano currently about a version of Cgminer that supports Bitfury chips on Bitbuners V1 design, however it does not appear to work with the V3 miner.  Kano posted about it in this thread back a few pages here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251966.msg3552824#msg3552824

If I remember correctly about 3 Months ago Con said something about it being a bit difficult to support the way it was designed to work with the RPI.

Last night my bitfury rig stopped mining on us1.ghash.io:3333  Specifically only my worker1 account.

Turns out my worker1 no longer mines on us1.ghash.io:3333.

it mines on nl1.ghash.io:3334[/b]

I ran into that same issue recently trying to mine on btcguild using the MPBM software.

It seems that not all mining software handles the stratum "client reconnect" message, where the pool asks the client to change hosts.

I'm guessing the included ChainMiner software also does not handle that message correctly.

(that's just a guess).

I noticed that cgminer was still using us1.ghash.io but non of the work was being registered on their site, so I had cgminer also switch to nl1. Even though it handled the switches something was still borked.

it mines on 2 other pools ....too bad i had to re-image and try messing with h-cards first...  I've double, triple checked, something is wrong with my worker being stuck on us1.ghash.io pool

12 hrs wasted time.

**edit**

it mines on nl1.ghash.io:3334

I figured I should post this so you guys don't lose a lot of downtime.

Same thing for me greaterninja, it happened right after they had an outage last night. I sent them a support ticket about it I am pretty sure its on their end since I have 3 different miners that will not connect to it.

Has anyone had success contacting sales re: RMA's ? Have been waiting on a response for an RMA on 3 bad h-cards Sad

RMA issues aside, these rigs are beasts once they are configured and placed in an environment with proper cooling ! The one full rig I have up and running has settled around 535 GHs !

what did you do to get them going at that speed?

anyone have a recommendation for a voltmeter?

The thins I have noticed are this, You need to keep the Cards stable while being cooled. The Heatsinks on the back of the regulator covering as much of the exposed silver looking part really helps, and then just a good amount of air flow across them. Also I just have them all set to Auto because over a few hours time they settle at much better Speed than when adjusting them manually even with the dead chips.

I have been stable at 585+ and have 1 Card with 3 dead chips on it.
