I just wanted to warn you guys do not mine at the yourmine pool.
Why?
I have been mining there since the launch (had my miner setup to mine here some hours before launch, with other pool as fallback). At the moment I only have 4000 coins there. I just moved to the hashstrike pool, and tripled my coins in 1 hour.
Also I did not get any coins for the last few blocks. I did not get any payout after block #552, but mined there up till block #1200 or so.
And, auto payout does not work. Manual payout does not work either.
So, just forget about yourmine I would say.
Yes, looks like this is a scam pool. I have posted earlier same thing. It should be removed from pools list and get as many negative feedback as possible on bitcointalk. We are not a scam pool you can ask anyone that has mined any other coin with us, we have been 100% straight with no down time apart from mpos upgrades, think about how many others pools suffered and collapsed this morning. So please give us back our coins, if you're telling the truth. We have been cheated so far. First hours after launch are most important, and we decided to use your pool - in result we lost days of mining at current difficulty. You don't look like a begginer and coins are stored somewhere - fix it please. You guys DO KNOW that many pools take 30-50% of your coins and claim 1% or 0% fee right? I mean its so easy to catch them after a couple of hours. HI At sometime this morning while i was catching up with some much needed sleep our system caught up and has now paid out all outstanding coin payments, so please check your accounts, we charge a 1% fee, there is an old saying you pay for what you get, as for a pool taking 30-50% of your coins well i cannot speak for other pools or I am sure most would agree with me GET A GRIP AND GO READ ABOUT HOW THE PPLNS WORKS. Apologies for the delay in the payouts as you know we got hit very hard from the beginning of this coin. Been mining today 4h at www.zeit.yourmine.org and 6 hour at zeit.suprnova.cc and didnt got any coin confirmed or uncofirmed... it very weird.... my wallet not working also The ppllns system is back loged but catching up slowly see blocks link and column pplns. |

Does anyone know how we claim our bounties? I also was able before to access the google doc now it asks for permission. Ok so first of all the pplns system we are trying to sort, it has been dealing with a huge back log and is very slow to catch up we may have to pay out manually if we cannot get it to complete, so those users that have not received the coins they have mined will get them rest assured, secondly there was NO low diff rate for this coin it had 16GH/s from the start and the diff was 60 within a couple mins and just sky rocketed, add that to the amount of #rate we had compared to the network and there is your reason for few blocks found compared to the blocks pools including ours are finding right now, the pplns system does not lie ask any pool owner they will tell you, as for yourmine being prepared well i hold my hands up say that we expected about 600 users and got 2,000 + connections not all miners when other pools went down that increased & we still remain afloat although everything slowed, we then had the block 500 problem which we are still feeling the effects from now, there has never been a release of this magnitude that i know off but on a positive note we can learn from this and move forward. when any mining pool starts up for a coin release it is from a standing start with a large amount of users and the system takes time to settle, this morning the system had no time to do that. I hope that clears up some of what happened.
Now there is someone posting with honesty and integrity! Which I'm sure is why many of us joined your pool in the 1st place. I know it's why I did.  It's just not right to use the words "scam" and "cheated" to describe what happened with zeit.yourmine.org during launch. I hope you get your issues resolved and things go smoother for your pool from here on out. Thank you so much that means a great deal to us & as do all our members, on another note we have now started running the pplns manually and members will see there confirmed coin rate rising as we do each block that has not been added to the earnings from previous blocks found prior to now, this will take a little time to process. For everyone for those that may now be waking up & missed what happened after the launch of zeitcoin last night let me explain why you do not have as many coins as you would expect after leaving your miners running on our pool or other pools for that matter.
First off the #rate went through the roof for this coin from the get go, a fair launch for sure, the #rate started on GH/s not MH/s & hit over 25 GH/s with a diff rate that skyrocketed to match, that was also coupled with the fact that a lot of pools where most certainly taken by surprise with the amount of traffic they received & as each pool crashed so the pressure increased even further on the rest again in turn that also slowed the system for also finding blocks down even further, after which every pooled continued to run with the block chain stuck at 500, this took quite some time locate & to get sorted, we will be going through the pplns which looks to have an issue even though we are still finding blocks & the wallet is recording what we have found, i will sort this as soon as possible and all payouts from the blocks being found rest assured will be corrected if needed, I have just woken up after 3 hours sleep as i write this so please give us some time to sort any issues there may be.

I have been mining on your pool for an hour or so with ~3400Khs. Why am I not yet seeing any coins? Neither unconfirmed nor confirmed. I have accepted shares in at least the last 5-10 blocks found. Should I just switch pools? Is yourmine not working properly? We are going through everything now and also rebooting the server, if there are any lost coins we will pay them out manually if we have to, there has never been a launch like zeit coin, yes we expected it to be crazy but not totally insane, added to that the problems with the source code did not help matters. add to that our pool did not go down like most, reason for the few blocks was the insane #rate against 1/2 Gh/s on the server. |

What make matters more interesting is when lots of pools go down putting a massive load on the others |

One thing is for sure, we will weed out the weak and unprepared pools quickly with this much enthusiasm and miners getting geared up to mine at midnight on their perspective pools..... early dogecoin pools ,,,what a mess... lets hope all the pools in here have done their homework, as we shall soon see What an awesome post +1 |

He's closer to Texas than I am, yet he has higher latency? Haha wow..
For future reference, does pinging the website usually give a good idea of whether I have a good latency or not? I thought it depends on where the server is located too.
Btw poolers doesn't seem to be in the list of pools in the OP?
Distance matters but you can be in the same state as the server an not get 13 ms. It has a lot to do with your ISP and how many hops it is routing you through to get to the destination server. Sometimes they are retarded about it and they go first to a server that is further away, and then come back to the final destination. Doing a traceroute should show you where its going. if you do not have static ip reboot your router to try for a better connection |
