Why are transfers so slow? I sent DGB from my wallet 3hours ago and still 0 confirmations?!?
maybe you have wallet version 1.0.0 Checked and i got 2.9.1 Last time was also slow, took about 4 hours to transfer. the low hashrate is the problem. the pools/minners don't find a block when a pool find a block you get a confirmations. check your wallet he don't synchronizing. (block 134372) so if a block find 134373 you get a confircation I hope so that digibyte launch tomorrow the multi algoritme....... (with digishield:D) also believe in digibyte//jared! yesterday it was the same problem.... (and also Wednesday) I dont think I can launch tomorrow, need to give everyone time to update to the new wallet. Most importantly the exchanges need time to update. do you develop the multi-algoritme? |

Why do you think tomorrow? Give these guys some space and time to test and maybe even to take a step back and evaluate. This is nothing that can be pressured. I would prefer a mature product over half baked patch work. regards I hope |

Not playing nice with DOGE is also a huge mistake. DOGE's real weakness is its Reddit. Yes its code has problems, but the Reddit is even more vulnerable. All someone has to do is come in and get one offensive post past the mods and it's over. The subReddit goes down and takes the community and the coin with it. If you ask me, it's only a matter of time which is sad because I am a big fan of DOGE and am working on getting dogecoin Prypto cards sold in comic shops around the Southeast US. Whoever corrals all those crazy teenagers in the aftermath (or if/when the economics of the coin sink it) and gets them under a new umbrella is going to seriously benefit. DGB could do a lot worse than have a young, vibrant, dedicated userbase to draw from. I'm not saying DGB should merge-mine, but we really ought to put out the welcome mat for them. Yes, Doge has been a great community & has been very friendly toward DGB. We recently have had some discussions with some of the devs bouncing ideas around. The Doge community is most definitely welcome into the DigiByte community! The problem with Doge is the January 2015 mining reward reduction. DigiByte is a long-term mine-able coin. It is hard to say what happens in 6 months. ik ben gewoon op zoek naar rendabel coins minnen. via de laptop/computer ging niet, want dat is niet rendabel. (zonder videokaart)

What do you all think about merge-mining with Myriadcoin?
Idiotic idea, pools will dump DGB to the hell because only small amount of MYR miners will claim their FREE DGB coins. Check MON price charts, pools are dumping it regardless of a price. You will kill this coin offering merged-mining, all your efforts will be buried. I wouldn't call it "idiotic" but I also think this would pin a "Discount" label on DGB. Better finish multi-algo implementation asap. If the chain stays slow for 2-4 days longer it doesn't hurt that hard as there is still only low activity on the blockchain. Multi-pools have already been dumping DGB for a long time. That is part of the crypto world as we know it. Comparing DigiByte to "Mon ocle" is nowhere near a fair comparison. We had never heard of them until you mentioned it. You still won't listen. There is no worse blind than the one who do not want to see. You will convert DGB from solid coin to free bonus for MYR miners. A lot of pools will have a lot of free DGB because a lot of users will not claim DGB and such pools will dump it to the hell. Period. There is much more to this than you realize. DigiByte is an older coin then Myriad. We have just as large of a user / investor base. If anything this will give many more people incentive to mine DigiByte. For multiple reasons. This is not a winner take all scenario my friend. there are benefits and disadvantages...... |

If you have problems with the Mac wallet, a good alternative would be to run the windows wallet in a virtualbox.
that's fine to say if have you windows... I see here that the last block was:134145: http://explorer.cryptopoolmining.com/chain/DigiByteYes, we have the same thing on our machines. When the next block is discovered it will sync. It says it is trying to sync with the network in the mean time. Our network hash rate has dropped to the lowest point it has ever been since launch. DigiShield is still working but it needs to be adjusted with such a low hash rate. Something in the new 0.9.1 code is causing it to average out at a much higher difficulty than it should. We are working hard on getting the multi-algo ready to go. In the mean time we are prepping to rent some more hash for a few days at a loss. Please be patient and understand DigiByte is not going anywhere. If you look at all the other Scrypt coins their hash is the lowest they have been as well. It is like almost overnight GPU miners have left Scrypt all together. how long takes the time? 10 minutes 1 hour? |

everybody calm down. 1 week ago. It was the best dev ever, about the 200 btw volume, and now is everything ***** which version of mac os x have you? at me it is 4,4 when I start the wallet, and one minut later 0,1. (maybe is a good idea for a Power Management Unit reset, alt - cmd - r - p (looks on google how it works) @digibyte: version 2.0.0 works better, faster, and it looks better. (for mac) also 10.10 yosmite is come now (maybe you must be update the wallet)
