Thanks, looked at that page earlier, too. Having trouble with my query string, how to structure it with username:pass in order to authenticate and pass a query. I'll figure it out, though. May actually adapt some pieces of MPOS to function as a wrapper anyway. The goal is to be able to make simple games work with any coin easily. It'd be cool to have a few games to gamble a few Coins on! NOOOOOOO . Let me complete my dice game first!

Sorry for late response guys, just woke up. I'll quote everyone right now. yes this is actually concerning - has this been answered? Also I have 30 mh/s Scrypt mining farm but no idea about how adaptive-N works. will this stop people mining like 10 mil coins with 20-30 mh/s in the first few days (each) cause thats cheaper than buying into IPO effectively then it will be dumped on crypto rush. just a thought, im sure TWC has thought this through Yes, it has been answered. Hope you don't mind if I insert the quote here, because it's a bit long Just to add: Adaptive-N will be using 50% of your GPU's power. It doesn't let it abuse the coin 30MH/s, man, what the heck?! QUOTE: The idea behind the whole process: We'll set a price for H2O, when we get it on the markets. By dividing the total amount of the BTC we've received and divide by the total of 49 mm. That's why we didn't put a price on H2O, because it's "impossible" to control the market's price after the launch ( except if you have A LOT of BTC ) KGW + Adaptive-N Will do their work, so it wont be that easy to "mine a heck of a lot more within the first week" That's the IPO. You always take a risk. That's why I advise everyone take a look in the whole meaning of the word "IPO" Thanks for your concern, I'm glad you came with such a strong question! This is very interesting coin because you can’t do with water but why 2 billion coins Edit: I didn't see its TWC coin, 2 billion is perfect. I will support you guys if extra help is needed We didn't wanted to flood the markets with gazillion coins, that's why we picked 2 billions Thanks for your trust, MsCollec, appreciate it! Peace man! Also, thanks everyone! Yours, @ThisWeeksCoin Are you sure Scrypt N uses 50% of the GPU, and not that the hash rate is simply lower because of the algorithm? That sentence alone makes me doubtful.

People, please, stop selling so cheap!!!
Can't you wait for a while?? selling 50 COINs for 15/16 satoshi, really?
I've scooped away a few more, max @30 satoshi. Once again, it's your loss - and btw, how good can it be to win 0.0001 BTC anyway? transaction fees alone will take it away ... don't really understand you guys!
And what's up with selling only 50 COINs ? Did you mine for just a few seconds? Do you really believe COIN won't value more than that? If so, why do you even mine it??
C'on, 'nough of this! Stop it already!
Chill . Desperation isn't good for the community or the coin...

Dear @coinmarket.io, please add COIN to your coins list. You may find general information as well as COIN icon in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=485846.0This is very young but quite promising project. COIN is being traded on C-CEX exchange and is going to be exposed to more exchanges soon. The main goal of COIN is to become a common crypto currency for real world applications. Thank you very much in advance. +1

Hey all we have added COIN to our "Get Listed" program. You get one free vote per day, once your coin reaches 100 chances(votes) you are automatically entered into our random coin selection with those 100 chances or however many chances you have. The chances roll over from week to week, you can buy additional chances by donating .001BTC to the exchange. We're excited for our first drawing @ 8PM UTC Wednesday, should be fun!! Vote daily https://www.cryptoaltex.com/index.php?page=newcoinDear @chiznitz, thank you for posting your message here. We will hopefully try to participate, but can you please describe how your random generator works? I would propose an approach like: we take a hash of every 200th BTC block, use such and such function to convert this hash value to a floating point number [0..1]. Then we sort out participating coins alphabetically. Every participating coin is then adjusted an interval [a..b] which is proportional to the number of votes the coin has. Intervals go in order and the union of these intervals is [0..1]. If the found number is in a coin interval the coin wins. If you use somethink like rnd() function to choose a winner then... You know, to convince people you have a really fair random system it should be organized in a way I proposed. It should be random, but everyone should be able to check proof the outcome. Noone knows the hash of the next block to be found. But once it is found everyone can check it. And it is random. As we know the rate of BTC block generation you can list a new coin pair when every 200th (for example) BTC block is found. We will be exporting the chances into a txt file, so if your coin has 100 chances you will see 100 lines with the word "COIN" on them. We will then paste that list into the random list selection tool at random.org and we'll press randomize. The coin that lands at spot 1 will be the winner. Random.org has explanations of how they do their random selection, you can't really get any better than what they are already doing. We've already tested live stream for this as well so hopefully that all goes well , we'll post the link on the page soon Thanks chiznitz !

Here is following the list of exchanges which I know about (without corresponding URLs, but I think it is quite easy to find the URLs in Google): - BTC-E
- OKCoin
- Cryptsy
- BTC38
- BTER
- Crypto Rush
- Vircurex
- mcxNOW
- MintPal
- CoinEx
- Coined-Up
- Poloniex
- SwissCEX
- Atomic Trade
- Ripple Charts
- DGEX
- Coins-E
- Crypto-Trade
- yuanbaohui
- MasterXchange
- C-CEX
I marked the most important ones bold. I have contacted several of them, unfortunately without any feedback. Another thing... Hi vilgem, thanks for this. However I've the same view as SilentBit. Cryptsy, and most recently MintPal, are common exchanges for PnD IMO. I like MintPal (or rather, liked), but I've seen so many coins die there that it's getting sad. Here's my personal list which I feel will not only help COIN, but also help these exchanges: Also, not to take anything away from you, but have you tried all of the exchanges you listed? For one, I'd never recommend Coins-E. Do a quick search and you'll find https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=241612.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418416.0, and as you can see from those threads I had my BTC and till now, GLC, stuck. Gonna reach out to cryptoaltex today Update: Have reached out to cryptoaltex. [10:26] <Shuxy> Hey chiznits [10:26] <Shuxy> chiznitz [10:26] <chiznitz> hi [10:26] <Shuxy> Hey [10:26] <Shuxy> can you consider adding COIN to cryptoaltex? I'm a fan of coinedup.com ! I've been traveling and been on holiday, but I am/can working/work on the following: - IRC bot | Have a framework ready, just need to change some variables. Unfortunately our IRC channel #coin-project seems dead. I've registered ##coin-project as a backup as well. - Dice site (Am also taking this as a chance to brush up on my programming, it's been a while) | Frontend is done, backend is still WIP. Thinking about anywhere between a week or a month to go depending on my IRL workload. Was going to share them when I've completed them, but decided to do so now after seeing dev's disappointment .

Good to see all this heated debates . I'm sure OP will chime in soon!

Hash the fuck out and stay out! Calm down, dude. The whole damm story you have just told us is about nothing. You are talking about something which doesn't exist in Nature. It is just blah, blah, blah. Nobody is going to ruin COIN, nobody is interested in such outcome. You are talking about long-term market value, real-life usage of COIN and so on. But what is really done by now to achieve this purpose? Nothing. COIN is being mined by a small comunity. It is not exposed to the market. And that is it. If you think that holding COIN away from crypto community is a great idea just becuase you can solo mine thousands of COINs per day, then you do not understand that it is the right way to ruin the project. Nobody will be interested in a coin which has been mined for several months by a small comunity. We need 10x more miners in the next week. Miners are not fools (mostly and hopefully), they want to mine something valueable. We need an exposure to (at least) one BIG exchange. This doesn't mean that COIN will be pumped and dumped and doomed. This will just bring some interest to the project. Do not sell your coins cheap and everything will be fine. If you are afraid of exposing COIN to the market then you are sick, go to a doctor. Vilgem you're funny . SilentBit was posting his opinion in a very nice manner but your reply is personal. Unfortunately it is true that once a coin gets onto an exchange they get pumped and dumped. Some linger on for a while more, some end up better after the pump and dump then before, but a large majority of coins die. And OP has said since the beginning he doesn't want to bribe exchanges to get onto them. Look at OP's road map. We're not at the milestone to get onto exchanges yet. If by any chance we get listed by them it's another story. Calm down and stop hyping things up, enjoy the ride.

Want about 0.5 BTC worth. Anyone want to give a deal I can't find on an exchange?
1 HVC for 0.5 BTC, that's a deal you can't find on an exchange at the moment .

This coin offers nothing new from all the other alt coin clones, besides a nice name and logo...
Pce
Yeah but at least the dev is not in a rush to pump and dump, and he encourages p2p pools with good bounties, among many other positives. And launch was flawless compared to many coins offering new tech , or claiming to offer new tech rather. Just my two COIN .

Hey keccak512: Sent you a PM regarding my bounty !
|
|
|
Bought 12,000 COINs. Will tweet you my COIN address

#heavycoin now has a few more users. I've also made cryptomind and crypt0h4z3 ops (without their permission but hey) (from #heavycoinpool), I won't be around then so hopefully they can help manage the channel !

do you want to collect your bounty asap? or you'll wait to build up some hashpower? Hi OP, if it's collecting at the rate of 12Mh/s I can collect it now . I'm guessing we cannot re-collect it again as we build more hashpower till we hit the cap of 120K?

Hi OP, My P2P node is at: http://kopivienna.no-ip.biz:24002/static/The hashrate has dropped as some of my friends have directed their rigs elsewhere, but it has hit peaks of 12Mh/s. Thanks! I've taken a screenshot for your reference:
