121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price dropped down to $9,500 today. Wanna know why? on: September 25, 2019, 03:40:38 AM
being "young" is not the main reason for the drop. having small market is the main reason and the reason for a small market (meaning exchanges that have order books that are NOT packed with orders) is that the exchanges that we use are not trustworthy so people are always afraid of using them. they prefer to either stay away from trading there or to never leave an open order, instead withdraw their funds right away. that leaves the market open to manipulation and big swings whenever a large amount of buys or sells take place.

Yes I completely agree that it's mainly due to low liquidity. But one of the reasons why liquidity is still low is because of it being "young".
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the cause of the current sharp drop, any fundamental? on: September 25, 2019, 03:29:51 AM

123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price dropped down to $9,500 today. Wanna know why? on: September 24, 2019, 05:12:39 PM
So do you really blame the fact that bitcoin is actually traded in exchanges?
If bitcoin wasn't traded then it would have no life as people wouldn't be able to have easy access to it.

Yep. I quit.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price dropped down to $9,500 today. Wanna know why? on: September 24, 2019, 04:41:36 PM
i too find it annoying when people scream murder when the price only moves a few percent.
to me and many i know, its never a price 'drop', 'crash' 'dump'. its instead a discount day to buy extra cheap
Finally that someone realised that Bitcoin price drop is quite normal and that is part of volatility. It's just corrections and there is no need to develope some special theories about it.
But I'm still waiting panic posts about price crash and worried questions if to sell or not, if Bitcoin is dead this time and similar because some people never learn.

Thank fuck someone actually got what I was trying to say.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price dropped down to $9,500 today. Wanna know why? on: September 24, 2019, 04:24:04 PM
That's not volatility, that's freedom. And that's not a crash, but a miserable 5% price reduction.

I will hit you with the concept as many times as you abuse the word crash:

the term commonly applies to steep double-digit percentage losses
It's hilarious how you're actually lecturing me on "crashes" like I was the one calling it a crash lmao.

Your expectation with these "panic scare" words? Nothing.
Did you actually misunderstood what I was trying to say in this post lol?

The people here know better, you waste your time.
"The people here know better". Oh you have no idea.
126  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin's price dropped down to $8,400 today. Wanna know why? on: September 24, 2019, 03:59:59 PM
Updated the title lol

Title: Bitcoin's price dropped down to $9,500 $8,400 today. Wanna know why?

Wanna know why? Because bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are currently fucking volatile. It has been volatile since it was first being traded on exchanges, and it will continue to be volatile for years and years and years to come. Because that's how the fucking market works for young, speculative, and low liquidity assets like bitcoin.

There. That should answer all the why bitcoin crash questions today, and for years to come. So stop asking this stupid redundant question. kthxbye

He isn't the one that is certified. It's the people sending him money that should be certified. Smiley
Pretty much! Certified gullible idiots to be more specific.
128  Other / Off-topic / Re: Venezuelan Bolivar bills on: September 22, 2019, 04:49:40 AM
Anyone here knows a legitimate website where I can buy a 10 trillion dollar venezuelan bolivar bill? Been looking for a while but couldn't find a website selling them that's pretty reputable.

Those don't exist (yet). The highest that I know about is 100,000 bolivares fuertes. Perhaps you are thinking about Zimbabwe?

Fuck. Yes, I meant Zimbabwean dollars.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bakkt btc Coming are you accumulating? on: September 21, 2019, 02:47:43 PM
Are You acumulating btc now?

You're completely aware that this is a bitcoin forum right? The answer should be pretty obvious.

131  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitpay problems on: September 17, 2019, 03:07:00 AM
Ah.. fucking BitPay once again. It's mind boggling how merchants aren't using BTCPay already.

Anyway, if they haven't replied through the their website support in a few days, I suggest throwing a tantrum on r/Bitcoin. Nothing gets a company's attention better than negative feedback and negative publicity.
132  Other / Meta / Re: The end of an era for me: Leaving Signature Campaign on: September 16, 2019, 04:17:43 PM

Holy shit wow. The sudden rant. Guess what? Regardless of The Pharmacist's intentions with his posts, regardless if it's solely for monetary gain or not, I don't mind. Why? Because he's been helpful as fuck to the community. You? All you do is talk smack. Get a life.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: LTCBTC: 0.02 — The Conservative Case for Litecoin on: September 09, 2019, 05:38:29 AM
Let me get this straight. Do you honestly believe that Litecoin is better than Bitcoin? You really need a huge dose of reality. Bitcoin premine? Laughing My Fucking Ass Off. Tell that to your Litecoin overlord that dumped all his LTC on his followers.
134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chipmixer.com - EXIT SCAM ?! on: August 20, 2019, 06:31:06 AM
If ChipMixer would ever do an exit scam, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't scam something as small as 0.02.

Try posting here and you might get help: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.0
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Declining. on: August 15, 2019, 01:00:48 PM
A whale made a bet with CZ and is now shorting bitcoin so that he can win the bet. As simple as that.

136  Other / Meta / Re: Posts concerning price predictions from "influencers" on: August 12, 2019, 04:40:12 AM
Don't you people think that these posts should be banned already?
No.  That would be a form of censorship that would set a very bad precedent here.  I hate that term "influencer",
Ok. Worded it wrong. I meant the posts should be deleted, not the posters to get banned. I didn't even notice that there's a 'speculation' subforum because these "predictions" are mostly in the Bitcoin Discussion and Beginners & Help section anyway.
137  Other / Meta / Re: Posts concerning price predictions from "influencers" on: August 11, 2019, 03:07:27 PM
I rather do some:
no signature
no avatar
no info below avatar
months  say oct and april.

Then cut out speech or thought on where coins are going.

I have mixed feelings on this. While signature campaigns definitely adds to the spam a bit especially from the lower rank campaigns, let's be a little bit considerate to the people who are living on shit hole countries that are trying to legitimately earn extra income here. FortuneJack and ChipMixer members are contributing really well in my opinion even though they're in campaigns.
138  Other / Meta / Posts concerning price predictions from "influencers" on: August 11, 2019, 02:51:05 PM
Tim Draper predicts this that
Tom Lee predicts this that
Crypto analyst predicts this that

Don't you people think that these posts should be banned already? Especially on the Bitcoin Discussion forum. They just don't really add any value at all; the predictions only generate more and more "mOoNbOyZ" in the community.

Not to mention that it's just going to be spammed by those low ranked "bOuNtY hUnTerZ".

Here's a recent one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5174529.0
139  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Criticisms of the Lightning Network on: August 06, 2019, 05:43:45 AM
Another criticism is, how secure is Lightning? Has it experienced any attacks of some kind? That should worry the users, because we simply don't know.

I mean, Lightning is still software. Software bugs and problems are pretty much inevitable; even with Bitcoin itself. It just depends on how drastic the problem is, and or how quickly it gets resolved.
140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a satoshi - For Newbies on: August 06, 2019, 05:39:12 AM
Thank you very much for this. I have been in the market for more than 2 years but I do not understand bitcoin or satoshi. Sometimes the value of money my friends count on satoshi, that makes me like an outsider.
Man. If you've been in the bitcoin markets for more than 2 years and you still don't understand these overly basic stuff, you've got a problem.
