121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to buy BTC straight with fiat? on: April 13, 2018, 01:51:38 AM
You should register for an account on Coinbase and you'll be able to buy bitcoins, ethereums, litecoin, bitcoincash on Coinbase immediately.  I don't think they have a one week waiting period anymore but your limits might be kind of low.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc has increased 13.04% today? on: April 13, 2018, 01:43:31 AM
The bulls are returning to the cryptocurrency markets, that's why.  Everything has been oversold making prices drop very low this year and now is the recovery stage.  Many cryptocurrencies will break their all time highs later this year.   Smiley
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for the market surge? on: April 13, 2018, 01:37:38 AM
Well, this price rise isn't unexpected but long overdue.  The market has been bleeding for months and it's time for the bulls to return.  This recovery will be strong and gaining 45billion is nothing compared to the highs during December of last year.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 12, 2018, 11:28:22 PM
Yes, it's a very cool coin. I think that Waves for $ 4 is just a gift from the bears. I believe that the coin will cost in 2 years 100 dollars.

in the last year i bought Waves in prices 20$, this is so sadly for me when i watch the market price waves prices down to 4$, i hope in the last year waves prices growing up.

Have you been buying more?  If you bought at $20 then Waves at $4 should be considered stealing.  Just keep buying more and you'll be in the profit zone much sooner than if you just wait for it to go back above $20 which it will eventually.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 12, 2018, 05:28:24 AM
It's good to see the Waves team has an official bitcointalk thread again.  Waves has so much going on positively this year that there's no way to stop it from becoming a tsunami.  I am glad to be a Waves supporter since day one.  Go WAVES!
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins that disappointed you on: April 11, 2018, 01:42:04 AM
I try not to think of the cryptocurrencies that disappoint me but think of the ones that brought me profits.  Don't waste your time with disappointments but learn from it and try to prevent a similar situation from happening again.   Smiley
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to manage losses? on: April 11, 2018, 12:11:22 AM
If you haven't sold, then you haven't loss anything.  Stop comparing the highest price to what the price is now.  You didn't sell at the top so it was never "your" money.  Until the money is in your hands, it was never yours.  Just comparing the highs to the lows will make you go crazy.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: April 10, 2018, 11:49:25 PM
The term "bubble" get's thrown out way too much in the cryptocurrency world.  I have been hearing about this so called bubble for years and I still have yet to see it happen.  Maybe it's just a word to scare the newbies.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 04:21:59 AM
I think the best altcoin to invest in right now would be Waves platform tokens.  The price is under four dollars and there is so much going on with the project.  There will be smart contracts and atomic swaps implemented this year.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy the Dip - again... on: April 09, 2018, 04:14:11 AM
Just keep buying the dip until it reverses and becomes a hump.  Buying the dip isn't a one time thing, you should buy in increments.  If you single shot it, you will run out of money and just watching cheap cryptocurrencies is painful.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you track ico's ? on: April 08, 2018, 03:31:40 AM
There are a lot of websites that has listings of upcoming ICO's such as https://www.smithandcrown.com/sale/.  You can also browse the announcements section of this forum.  The original posts of each thread will have a detailed description of the project.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge to the top 3 or going to sink on: April 07, 2018, 10:02:35 PM
Verge has a very long road to get to the top 3 ranking which I doubt will ever happen.  I don't even think Verge will even make it into the top 10 spots.  There are much better projects out there that deserve the rank well before XVG.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market going RED! on: April 06, 2018, 03:28:03 AM
We don't need a new thread everyday saying that cryptocurrencies are red or green today.  We all know how to check the prices and look at coinmarketcap multiple times everyday.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 06, 2018, 02:43:46 AM
Sometimes when a new coin is first listed on a small exchange, the prices are very cheap compared to when or if it get's listed on a larger exchange such as Bittrex, Binance or similar exchanges.  If you like the coin, it's a good strategy but just don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oyster Pearl just scammed us on: April 02, 2018, 09:43:39 PM
This is a very unfortunate situation and brings a bad reputation to the cryptocurrency world.  Projects can make so much more money the legit way if they had good intentions on developing the project instead of scamming the community this way.  This is another reason not to invest in anonymous team projects.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 02, 2018, 09:14:32 PM
Yeah, your timing for investing in cryptocurrencies was off but that's not your fault.  You probably first heard of it when it was all over the media during bitcoins peak.  If you have more money left, just buy more of some of what you already own.  You'll be buying at a huge discount.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: April 02, 2018, 01:23:27 AM
Investing in ICO's aren't for everyone.  It takes a lot of patience these days to see profits from your investment.  The days of ICO's doing a 5x immediately after being listed on an exchange might be very rare if not impossible now.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INSN Coin 🔷 POW/POS/Master Nodes/InstantTXs 🔷 18.4m Coins 🔷 on: April 01, 2018, 11:47:09 PM
Is there any word on when the wallet out of sync issue will be fixed?  The last wallet update didn't fix the problem.  It's getting frustrating not being able to stake INSN while the 10x bonus is going on.

Sorry about the delay in getting that fix out ... it is taking longer than expected.

No problem Bittzy78.  Thank you for the update.  Once the wallet fix is out, I am sure INSN will be rolling again just like the old days.  I'll keep an eye out for it and hope it comes soon.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: March 30, 2018, 07:27:08 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

This is cryptocurrency and the market can easily recover with a bullish run in weeks or months.  Two years in the cryptocurrency world is like decades, the market doesn't need that much time to recover.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 30, 2018, 07:24:09 PM
It's a no brainer.  Your personal wallet will always be safer than keeping coins on an exchange but if you're an active trader, you will have no choice but to keep some coins on an exchange which should be fine as long as you're trading an a reputable exchange.
