121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DeFi is high risk investment on: November 02, 2020, 10:28:03 AM
Here are reasons why DEFI is a high risk investment

1. A glitch in the system can lead to loss of funds or blocking of all assets

2. Developers boost that their codes are impenetrable but they can't oversee how users interacts with applications and platforms, meaning human errors are inevitable.

3. Market is very unpredictable and there is no any form of insurance available for investors, they risks of losing fund is very high

4. YIELD FARMING

Yield farming means the creation of tokens to reward users who provide liquidity to a project, meaning it's a must for users to invest their tokens on the project, you won't be able to trade or sell.

Today many projects are going into DeFi because high yields are offered and investors want quick profits too .

With DeFi the risks are insanely bigger compared to ICO.
Not just DeFi projects, before DeFi become a thing today we have many HYIP projects in crypto space and many are investing money on them, how many of these people can we stop or control? No matter how many times we warn them they will still keep investing, that's why scammers haven't quit
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware; Do not Fall for Phishing Sites, Do Not Be a Victim of Scams on: November 02, 2020, 10:22:34 AM
Greedy people will surely get caught in this trap, for you to get the reward you need to insert your private key to connect your wallet, this is giving away your money to scammers the easiest way, if you love Airdrops that much then go through airdrop sources like airdropbob.com, not all scam Airdrops will ask you to deposit money, some will tell you to claim your free tokens by inserting your recovery seed.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: November 02, 2020, 10:19:07 AM
Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?
There are many scam tokens on UNISWAP, before buying any tokens from this dex I suggest you find the real smart contract address for the token you want to by through their telegram channel or ask the project team, use the smart contract to find the real coin ok uniswap, scammers create many fake copycats to sell on Uniswap, beware
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 01, 2020, 04:56:52 PM
I can made mention of ten different bounties that paid bounty hunters this year without escrowing the rewards, as if escrow have been changing every bounty problems, ARCS from bounty detective was the only escrowed bounty that make sense, it's not about escrow, let's stop fooling ourselves, it's all about ..

1. Reputable bounty managers
2. High quality bounty projects
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 01, 2020, 04:54:50 PM
You have pointed out a very important matter. Bounty managers should escrow the bounty reward as Bounty Detective does in some campaigns. After promoting a project for a long time, the team members begins drama when it ends. If the fund is escrow, no one will have to watch this drama anymore.
Lol bounty detective escrowed many scam projects and bounty hunters end with nothing after several months of working hard, is escrow the answer to bounty payments problem? I don't think so, the answer is a qualified and reliable bounty manager
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: November 01, 2020, 04:50:35 PM
Upon all the ethereum competitors we have in crypto space presently no one becomes preferable to developers than ethereum itself, you already know the answer to your question, the next Ethereum is Ethereum. Let's forget about a new ethereum, it's never going to happen
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 28, 2020, 10:19:04 AM
If every bounty manager can start using escrow I'm telling you, bounty hunting will be more easier, the assurance of getting paid will be high, the fight need to be directed to bounty managers not the project team, make bounty managers start demanding for escrow, this is the perfect fight.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 28, 2020, 10:17:05 AM
i see so many subjects about this bounty hunter/s not getting pay
there is no reason to bother with bounty when the money is already collected by the scammer/s and he/she is gone, it would be worthless anyway.
Yes you are right, the best way to avoid this is to promote projects that goes with escrow idea, this shows that payment is guaranteed, taking the fight to social media will only make bounty hunters look stupid or even worthless like many project team says, it makes me sad don't get me wrong but bounty hunters need to create respects for themselves
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Be a wise investor on: October 27, 2020, 06:36:19 AM
In the process of trying to be a future whales you could lost everything, trust me this got me no where and I realized that I've lost tons of money because I was never contented, be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say 'im gonna be rich in 3 years later' this is 1% out of 100% chance that it's ever going to happen, remember, been rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living a good life is.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 27, 2020, 06:12:42 AM
You are very correct, this is why my best pal in crypto space is stable coin, BUSD and USDT, whenever some profits are available for me I've quickly turn them into stable coins, this way I progress easily compare to the past that I kept losing money simply because I wasn't satisfied
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 26, 2020, 12:34:52 PM
Everyone seem to be coming up with their own version of DeFi projects, I just pity those who aren't very good with research, I suspect that mid 2021 will be like that of 2018 after altcoin season was over, judging from my own research too many DeFi projects are complete scam in disguise
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it ba the next dogecoin ??? on: October 26, 2020, 12:30:25 PM
Im  pet lover . when i reading a article about pets i saw this project by a advertisement , project name is " DOGCHACOin " . And i was quite interested about this project at that time because its a cryptocurrency in the PET industry and a pet social app..
And then i read their whitepaper and working procedure and the roadmap and satisfied with this project .. So now im quite intereated to invest for their sales ,

What do you think ?? If you are a pet Lover , do you invest for this project???🙊🙊

I'd rather invest my hard-earned money on cryptokitties or Dogecoin over this project, we all know that dogecoin is a meme coin but got the love from its strong community support, don't expect a pet crypto project to get attention because it's not needed at all, be very careful with this one or else you will get scammed.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which instant crypto exchange is the safest? on: October 25, 2020, 06:49:24 AM
I don't know about the others, but DEX is enough for me - and I really like it. Why?
On regular exchanges you don't have the keys, so you don't really own any money there.
On DEX, I trade directly from my personal wallet, so whatever happens to any DEX, my money will definitely be safe.

Dex tends to be more comfortable and secure than storing our assets on regular exchanges. Even though I still do transactions on Binance or Indodax, I prefer Uniswap, no KYC and control is in our hands.
DEX can be complicated sometimes for newbies like myself that's why I prefer binance and I believe the best trading platform are top Centralized exchanges like binance and few others, it's also not a must to go through KYC on binance exchange, the fastest insta exchange I know is changelly and shapeshift
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 25, 2020, 06:44:34 AM
It is unfortunate that many investors sell their coins only because they are affected by the COVID19 pandemic,
indeed now we need more cash money to buy daily necessities. But if we look at crypto market price movements,
some coins have increased in price since the COVID19 outbreak. Even today the price of Bitcoin has risen above
$ 13,000. So like most people, my portfolio has decreased compared to before the pandemic. Even though the market
has experienced an increase in price.
It's true that many altcoins have increased in price since the COVID19 outbreak but you should know that the pandemic state of every countries is different, in some countries the result is very bad and the only way to survive if selling their coins, I don't blame them, they made the right choice and remember that staying alive is the most important not some altcoins that may surge or not someday, if you lose your life you won't see such day.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: P106-100 mining problem on: October 24, 2020, 05:28:58 PM
I will like to know the type of motherboard you are using, I had same problem mining on a AMD motherboard and I was able to fix it by switching OS to Linux, windows OS ain't bad but Linux is more stable, about the overclocking I guess you are doing it wrong, gtx1660ti performs better if you underclock when mining ETH
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining suggestions on: October 24, 2020, 05:20:04 PM
I have cheap electricity and If you have no productive comments then keep your comments to yourself.
Just know it that you are making money from the electricity not your miner, if you are paying for electricity you'd up all the money you make from mining for electricity fee I bet, since you have free electricity don't look back but start playing on upgrading because very soon those miners won't make a difference
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 22, 2020, 08:15:14 PM
Honestly speaking, enough is enough, you promote a project for months and a date is picked for distribution later it get postponed for months again and this keeps happening over and over, bounties frustrations alone is enough to quit promoting new projects, new projects are so blessed with teams that doesn't care nowadays, it's a good advice telling bounty managers to reform too.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 22, 2020, 06:40:28 AM
This thought just comes to my mind especially these days, with a lot of altcoins doing airdrops or giving away different altcoins.

But I got some confusion here when the "airdrop" term used.

Because for what I believe the meaning of "airdrop" is a way of giving a free coin/s to some wallet addresses without seeking any investment or doing nothing.

Are those spreading all over around especially in this forum known to be an "airdrop" is considered an airdrop or bounty campaign since some of those are requiring people to fill up some of the forms or need to sign up or follow some social media accounts, etc?
Since you did some task or work to get those coins.
I've been into Airdrops since 2018 I guess but only 1% of projects asked people for their wallet address without doing anything other than submitting the address, almost all Airdrops will ask you do join their twitter accounts, facebook accounts and other social media accounts before qualified for payment
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 22, 2020, 06:37:36 AM
Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently using Signature campaign to promote their private sale.

Being a newbie, I would like to know your thoughts through experience.
No, signature campaigns doesn't increase ICO credibility, can you atleast share the name of the ICO here? You need to be careful around ICO bounties, lesser investors find interest on ICO projects because they are mostly scam, you need to learn how to select good projects first

1. Make sure teams are blockchain professionals
2. Make sure the project utility makes sense and useful
3. Make sure the project have good lists of partners
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: October 20, 2020, 06:56:16 AM
Its the best idea, limiting bounty participants in a campaign could be more profitable and less spam campaign, however its up to bounty managers on how they conduct their bounties. Some of the bounty managers are already implementing that type of rules making rewards more decent.
In my opinion this idea is not the best, because I think promoting a project is not enough if the participants are limited and the project must really need more promoters so that the project can be known by many people and can achieve its target. The gift manager cannot decide with certainty without direction from the project owner, the gift manager can only enforce the rules if the project owner has agreed to what they have implemented.
You are wrong mister, bounty managers aren't toys for any new projects, nowadays smart bounty managers even use escrowed, if the project team says no then the bounty manager must drop the job and find another, I've seen few bounty managers who did this, new projects are using bounty hunters like slaves, they want them to promote their projects unlimitedly but never consider how much a hunter will earn, if the bounty allocation is 10,000$ and just 1000 hunters joined thats approximately 10$ per hunter, using limited participants like 500 hunters will increase the earning per hunter, if the team don't like limited participants then they should add to the bounty allocation reward, problem solved.
