Work should bring pleasure from life and harmony. I never understood why I should worry about something or strive to earn as much money as possible. Life is determined not by quantity, but by quality.

The biggest secret is that many conspiracy theories (except flat earth) are true (of course, not all, but much of it)
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video Game Addiction, a very real problem. on: April 29, 2020, 12:02:31 PM
The point is not to prohibit something (in this case, games), but to enlighten people.
People need to wake up, because many people sleep.
124  Other / Politics & Society / Prolonged border closure on: April 28, 2020, 10:38:34 AM
What are the main problems that may arise if all countries close (or almost close) their borders for 1-2 years or more?

Fortunately, it cannot be said that some kind of isolation is felt now, because we can easily call (Skype) a person who lives in another country.
But what problems can arise?
125  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US starring at 18 months lockdown - Neel Kashkari on: April 28, 2020, 10:28:58 AM
Everything is very simple, you can grow your own food, start production inside the country. But this is not so easy, as there are many other problems that prevent it from being organized.
126  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will religion save you? on: April 25, 2020, 12:59:45 PM
Religion doesn't save anyone. But sometimes when we get into depression and no one understands us even our family and parents, then we love to think that there's someone who knows what's inside our hearts and takes good care of us. It's human instinct. It's natural Smiley

The fact of the matter is that God is not a mythical man with a beard in heaven. God can be called a good mood, good deeds, conscience, real sincere love for the world. This is all God. Many people find it easier to call it that.

Religions say about this that God is one and infinitely multifaceted. God cannot be understood by the mind, but can be felt by the heart. God is in all good and fair. When we feel good, when we do good deeds, when we feel love for the whole world, then we communicate with God, i.e. we are in this divine state.

The Endless - Great movie with an evolving plot that will catch you by surprise.

I have heard about this film many times, but still have not watched it. Thanks for reminding me, I'll watch it tonight!

Better not make any decisions if you are drunk. And better not to drink, so as not to be drunk, it is unhealthy.
129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You have 3 choices... on: April 17, 2020, 11:46:04 AM
I understand more and more that it is not logical to live in a big city. Because in this case, you are dependent on work, shops, water supply, electricity, etc.
If a person lives on his own land, then he does not have any problems with this, because he can generally live completely autonomously (if he is well prepared).
No epidemics or economic problems for such a person will be a hindrance.
130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 5G Towers are not spreading corona, but conspiracy theorists believe otherwise!! on: April 12, 2020, 09:32:38 AM
I agree with that. However, it is also worth understanding that 5G is very harmful to people and all living organisms. Explore alternative statistics about this. Have you studied these wireless networks? Who controls it. What a huge amount invested in this?
We are all sane people. We must understand that this is all huge money that no one wants to lose, even in spite of the harm that any electromagnetic radiation (including 5G) does.
In short: any electromagnetic radiation leads, first of all, to cancer (as well as infertility, problems with the cardiovascular system and many other problems).
No need to believe or not believe, study it thoroughly and impartially, and only after that draw conclusions.
We all want to be healthy, we all wish each other good, so we all strive for the same way.

You don't have to like Dota to enjoy watching the tournaments.

I have nothing against Dota 2, but I just don't like it. I suppose when you don’t like something, then you are unlikely to be able to enjoy even a tournament.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your favorite post-apocalyptic movies here on: April 12, 2020, 07:34:39 AM
Since when is Blade Runner a post-apocalyptic movie?

Since 1968.  The movie is based on Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?  The book goes into much more detail about society and the state of the earth.  Most animals have died off, and most of the humans who aren't living off-world are poor or incapable of moving to the outer colonies for one reason or another.  The movie itself can be categorized in many genres, but it fits the bill for this thread.

But you forget that the film has gone far from this book.

In addition, post-apocalypse is not a primary, not secondary, or even a third-rate thing in this film. The movie just physically does not talk about it. This is not the core of the script. This is just a tiny element of the history of the world, which is mentioned in a couple of lines at the beginning of the film and nothing more.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: at binance from March, 12 up to now someone spent 600 mln usd to buy btc on: April 12, 2020, 07:24:38 AM
In my opinion, this is not something extraordinary. Rich people have their own ideas about the rationality of spending, so it is possible that one or more very wealthy people bought a pack of BTCs for their needs.
134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 5G Has Dual Use As A Weapons System on: April 11, 2020, 01:23:17 PM
The negative influence of any electromagnetic radiation has been known since the 70s. It was then that with the development of technology, many different studies were conducted on this topic. But, large corporations and industries simply ignore it, because it will be a loss on their part.

Any artificial electro-magnetic effect is harmful to humans (mobile phone, wireless and Internet, Wi-Fi, laptops, TVs, power lines, 5G, etc.) All this is very harmful, it affects the body in a complex and is one of the main reasons cancer (along with junk food or even more harmful).

And this is not a joke. Explore the topic in detail on the Internet. Information is silent, but it exists! After all, the future of our children depends on what we are doing now!

At the moment, along with awareness of the situation, we can already do something. Live, if possible, in nature, away from large cities, where there is a high electromagnetic pollution. Use special devices that remove the negative effects on living organisms.
135  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite sport and why? on: April 10, 2020, 07:21:25 AM
I like athletics. I myself did this at a semi-professional level, so I know firsthand about all the benefits. This is a great way to keep the body in good shape, while not exhausting yourself half to death. The case when the sport is both pleasant and useful.
136  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use Telegram? on: April 10, 2020, 07:16:28 AM
I’ve been using Telegram for some time. A good messenger, plus, there are quite a few channels of interest. For example, I get some crypto news from there.

Delivery: Mr/ Mrs (name), correct?
You: Yes
*hands food over gingerly*
Delivery: Okay, bye.

Doesn't sound very interesting as I'd expect

Firstly, having a conversation is better than its total absence. Secondly, five words are better than none. Thirdly, no one forbids exchanging a couple more phrases with the courier and asking about what is going on around or whatever else.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: best ESPORT online games on: April 10, 2020, 07:07:43 AM
I do not really like Dota 2, but its tournaments attract huge finances, which means that it really has something worthwhile. If we talk about the games of Valve, then I more like CS:GO.
139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wealth management isn’t just for the ultra wealthy on: April 03, 2020, 01:07:20 PM
I think it’s important to calculate risks. In the event of a serious crisis money or insurance - will not help you. The only rational solution is to buy your own land in nature, with your own water from the well, with your own food that you have grown yourself. In this case, it will not be so important to you, what will happen in the world, since you rely only on yourself. But at the same time, no one forbids you to, for example, speculate in currencies or do anything else besides this.
140  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of life do you think is perfect? on: April 03, 2020, 12:46:51 PM
Yes, I'm satisfied with the standard of living that I have now, because everything is given out of necessity. I'm moving in my direction, doing things that depend on me, and the money comes by itself when it is really needed.
I mean that the standard of living is not measured in money or in other material things (such as an apartment, a car or even a position in society), but in how much you consciously live and how much you can enjoy life in any conditions.
