Guys, if you have questions on wallet imports PLEASE join slack: http://slack.ubiqsmart.com/It's nearly impossible to keep things straight on this forum, and it's impossible to establish a back and forth technical session. Chances are your questions (especially the import ones) are already answered in the #help channel in slack. Edit: We found out after I made that video that if you didn't secure your wallet with a password when you originally did the swap, you won't have an option to download the right file format for the video instructions to work. There's still a way to import, but it's a little different. Please join slack.

account locked?
when try to transfer to bittrex
any ideas?
Account will show locked. Will need to unlock it with: personal.unlockAccount(your_account) where your_account is your account number Then you can send a transaction right after that without getting the error.

I got some UBQ on my wallet https://ubiqscan.io/en/address/0x1daffc13f08925a384171a95e53723817490661fI followed YouTube tutorial but get 0 balance in wallet on my PC (using 1.5.10 version) > web3.miner.setEtherbase(web3.eth.accounts[0]) true > web3.fromWei(eth.getBalance(eth.coinbase), "ether") 0 > > web3.miner.setEtherbase(web3.eth.accounts[0]) true > eth.accounts[0] "0x1daffc13f08925a384171a95e53723817490661f" What I'm doing wrong? run the following command: eth.syncing and eth.blockNumber You might not be synced up yet, but it shouldn't take long once you get peers.

this thread is a shit storm of shitty marketing... at this point it looks like a complete scam. my legitimate question asked at least 5 times was completely ignored by so called "devs" whoever they may be. gui wallet failed to materialize, although there were some promises and even pictures of something which looked like Mist in different colors. I'd be really surprised if I'll be able to get back even my electricity costs.
this is how it looks from my perspective:
Hey mate, I don't really want to dig back through 10 pages of gembitz talking to find your question, but if you reply with it to this post, I'd be glad to answer it. Or join our slack and find a dozen people willing to answer slack.ubiqsmart.com The developers of Ubiq opted to go with an unmoderated thread, and while I commend them for this decision, it does have obvious trade offs as well. Anyway, don't judge a coin based off the worst of its shills, because those are just traders who jump from coin to coin. Ubiq's community is awesome, it's simply much better reflected by our slack, rather than an unmoderated announcement thread on Bitcointalk. So much this.

After 4088 block diff will be some high. Its true?
Not higher diff. Should make block times stay closer to 88.
Looks like pools and nodes are, thus far, doing a great job upgrading to the fixed diff build. Remember the hard fork doesn't occur until block 4088, so we're still using the old diff mechanism right now.
Good to make this decision now, rather than later when there are more pools, Dapps, exchanges, nodes, etc...which will need to be updated. Building is only as strong as its foundation

The only slight liability to being the first guy to sell, is maybe....just maybe...you didn't set your price high enough even at 10x.
