121  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyperinflation - Will it lead Countries to Adopt Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2024, 10:34:55 AM
I check on Wikipedia, Argentina's banks still ban banking transactions related to Bitcoin[/url], I hope Melei will allow banks to accept funds from Bitcoin and didn't use his power only for him i.e. he mine and own Bitcoin, but the citizen has a harder way to own Bitcoin.

"Adopting Bitcoin" isn't necessary must be accepted as legal tender, it only need to not get banned in anything.

Bitcoin is good as a store of value, but for daily transactions, it's not yet preferable.

But don't these players know that there are lots of talent in Barcelona and other people that could play their positions hence they would not have enough playing time, why do they still see Barcelona as a place of interest?  Luiz Diaz has a future with Liverpool, I do not think he should leave to Barcelona, If he must leave, he should think another club. Most of these players that move to Barcelona only move there because of the big name of the club and others because it has always been their dream to play for in Barcelona. Some of them end up with little time to play, or no time at all because of the plenty options.
Who are the quality wingers in Barcelona?

Raphinha? he's inconsistent.
Felix? he's gone.
Torres? a bad player, Barcelona might put him on transfer window.
Only Yamal is quite good.

Luis Diaz will be included in starting line up since he's a good player, it just that we don't know how sure the rumor is considering Barcelona can't afford to pay high signing fees and Diaz need to accept salary cut too.

Manchester United is really lucky to win this match since Newcastle was the one who dominate the match.

Kobbie Mainoo got a potential to become a great player, he give many contributions in every match. It's time to kick Rashford from the team, I don't see any reason why Manchester United need to keep him anymore, same with Antony and Mount.

It's better to grow the players from Academy than recruiting from other teams.

Are there even forum traffic stats posted anywhere? I know we used to have forum stats page but it was discontinued and the track ends in 2017: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats
We can know from the posts per month statistic and total active profiles. The posts per month keep declining and last month was the lowest, while total active profiles went half compared to 2020.

According to BPIP, there are 117 530 active forum members. By active, the site is considering all accounts that have logged-in over the past 3 months, regardless of their activity (they may or not have posted)

Some people lost spots in their campaign which led to loss of motivation to visit the forum.
But as for those who followed mixer campaigns and "teleported" to altcointalks forum - from my observation, I think most of them are just now active on both forums rather than switching to ALTT completely. But of course if you spend a lot of time there, then you'll be spending less time here etc.
Not only that, merit distribution is keep declining too.

Many users nowadays like to distribute their merits to their own gangs or locals even though the users they merited have a same quality to other posters. There's a big difference when you post and you get paid or get merit with post without receive anything.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 15, 2024, 12:36:31 PM
There's no difference if you get paid through Bitcoin or fiat, actually it would harm your privacy since many people now know if you get paid in Bitcoin. Do you want your colleagues to ask a loan from you? especially when Bitcoin price increases. If you get paid in fiat, you can directly buy Bitcoin, in the end your salary turns become Bitcoin.

So it's a nay for me since I care with my privacy.

It's very sad and regrettable that a quality players as varane will be leaving Manchester united without leaving up to the hype and expectations when he initially sign for the club, but I still feel he is still a very good player, he just came into a club in Crisis, which made  almost all his wrong decisions scrutinized at every given opportunity, and I believe that he will not be the only big name player leaving the club, their will be so much more, and during this summer, I also think that the manager will also be shown the exit door, because he has largely under performed this season, and someone's head must go for it.
Varane is no longer a good player, he often injured and didn't give a big contribution whereas his salary is second biggest in Manchester United. It's better to release Varane and looking to hire other cheaper players. Varane also didn't get selected in France national team, he's just a mediocre player.

It is surprising if Man United really wants to sign Joselu. Although Joselu is an experienced striker, he is still an average striker. I think it is because Joselu has a cheap market price, so Man United doesn't need to pay a lot of money for him. Moreover, the chance to sign Joselu is high because Real Madrid will sign a new striker in the next season. With the tactics of Ancelotti that doesn't many many strikers, Joselu is probably not needed to stay in Real Madrid squad anymore.
Manchester United recently signed few old players that willing to get paid less like Amrabat and Evans, that's why they also interested with Joselu. But I think Joselu will not perform in Manchester United, there's a big gap the quality between Real Madrid's midfielders and Manchester United's midfielders.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I returned my father's property to my father through Bitcoin investment. on: May 15, 2024, 06:03:04 AM
Another story without any proof, I could say that I bought 100 Bitcoin when the price was $100 per coin and now I sell it for $60,000. Wow I'm a millionaire, while the reality I'm still far to reach one million.

Using the word overnight is not correct. Bitcoin is not an investment that will make you rich overnight. You were just lucky to invest when the price was down and the time you sold was when the price increased. It is better to have a long-term plan when buying Bitcoin since you cannot forecast accurately how the market will react at a given time. Newbies should do their research before investing and the DCA buying pattern is highly recommendable.
2 weeks ago, he said we shouldn't invest Bitcoin to get rich overnight and always have a long term plan. But now he's saying Bitcoin can change someone life overnight. Should we say @OP has a two personality disorder or what? Huh

Investing in Bitcoin with the mindset that you will become an overnight millionaire from Bitcoin before investing in Bitcoin will do you more harm than good. Because we all invest in Bitcoin to make money but there is a right time to make money from investment. When you invest in Bitcoin you must not rush. You should always have a long term plan when investing in Bitcoin. If you want to invest with a small plan then see  You won't get paid because of hurry, so you always have to be patient and plan your investment when it comes to Bitcoin. Many times it is seen that we are in a hurry to invest in Bitcoin and we cannot make a home decision due to which we lose our investment attitude, so we always have to have a long term plan, we have to check the market, if we invest patiently, we will get success in the investment.

Tottenham humiliated by Manchester City in their ground. The funny thing after this lose, it's not the Spurs that attacking the teams, instead it's the Gunners that went angry and attacking them lol.

I don't see Manchester City will have any problem in the upcoming match, so I will announce congratulations to Manchester City to win Premier League in this season, Manchester City is making a new history for winning Premier League four streaks.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: Government always hides productive truths from the masses on: May 14, 2024, 03:21:03 PM
How old you're? do you have kids?

I don't understand why you blame the decision maker i.e. the government when they're the last one who can choose yes or no.

If you're a father, would you let your kids know about everything without any secret? I believe you will protect your kids and try to not make your kids know about "bad thing".

Government here is same, if they're talk about Bitcoin as early as possible, they're somewhat like promoting Bitcoin and at that time Bitcoin wasn't been trusted by a lot people. Government can't freely promoting anything because it will affect the country.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 14, 2024, 03:12:42 PM
The poor record achieved in the last five matches has made many people doubt Tottenham ability to hinder Manchester City in the title race. Manchester City very stable performance will make this match one-sided. Manchester City only need six more points to retain the EPL trophy, meaning Guardiola must focus on the remaining two games to end the competition with Arsenal this season. Even though Manchester City is currently in second place, its position in the title race is superior. Mathematically, Manchester City will overtake Arsenal if they win the last two matches.
But, you need to know if the recent four losses, three matches are in away and one match is in home. The lose in home was against Arsenal, the score was 2-3 which mean Tottenham can give a good fight despite we're seeing them didn't perform well. Arsenal is one of strong team in this season, so Tottenham should able to give a good fight against Manchester City.

Many people are cheering for Tottenham, we might see an upset here.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 12, 2024, 02:29:47 PM
They must be given the respect every team that's playing in the final of the UEFA Champions League competition deserves Instead of saying that they achieved everything they did achieve this season in the UEFA Champions League by luck.
But, they definitely reached into final by luck, they do gives effort, it just their effort isn't really that big than other teams.

Dortmund's opponents: PSV, Atletico Madrid and PSG. All of them aren't that strong especially PSV. If Dortmund was beat either of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City, I'm sure people will think Dortmund is way more stronger, not by luck.

To prove to everyone if they're really strong not just by luck, they need to beat Real Madrid.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 12, 2024, 02:07:08 PM
Manchester United vs Arsenal match will be interesting to watch.

We all know Manchester United has a bad record, even though the match will held in Old Trafford, but I'm sure people think Arsenal will win this match. Even the bookies listed Arsenal as a heavy favorite lol.

I would take a risk to bet both teams to score - No, the odds is quite juicy @2.36
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 11, 2024, 05:30:53 AM
I agree with you that people do a lot of hard work just to earn money in whatever medium it may be and it requires educational qualifications and own skills. and in exchange of these snakes they can earn money and everyone gets a chance to earn money based on his skill and educational qualification. The harder one works and the more skill one has, the more money one can earn and increase one's wealth. so yes money is the power everything and money is help to increase wealth
Not really, you need "luck".

I've seen so many entry level job workers who had higher degree and skillful than their seniors or even their managers, but they're stuck in there and didn't get promoted. After next few years when their seniors or managers leave the company, do you think they will be promoted? no, but those seniors and managers' child will get promoted even though they didn't contribute a lot lol.

"Luck" in this case you never know who're your parents when you enter to this world, if your parents is rich, then good, if not then you're fucked up.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you start investing in bitcoin because of some celebrity ? on: May 11, 2024, 05:05:30 AM
Nope, I start to invest Bitcoin not during bull season, those influencers are making contents, giving so called trading advice and selling their class during bull season where almost everyone are making money from Bitcoin.

Or you know people who belong to that category ?
Yes I know it, some people bought Bitcoin because those influencers keep convincing the people to escape from the matrix and life well from passive income.

135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2024, 03:28:16 PM
Osimhen is not a striker that attracts a lot of attention right now, he had conflicts and injuries, so he spent a lot of time on unnecessary things. He has great potential, but he needs the right coach, and so far there is not much talk about him and not many people who want to buy him.

And success Joselu is just an accident approved by the referee, and he may be good, but he is definitely not the stable striker that Manchester United needs to save the situation. By the way, ten Hag still remains on the team and will continue to work?
Osimhen only perform in the last season, now? he's gone. He's still the top scorer in Napoli, but it's nothing surprising since he always become starter and play for 90' minutes. His market value is 115 Million Euros, it's too high.

Manchester United seems really like to sign matured players after the young players that they had signed can't perform. It start from Eriksen, Evans, Casemiro, Amrabat, Reguilon and now they want Joselu.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2024, 03:00:24 PM
Darwin Nunez got bad treatment at Liverpool and maybe he felt uncomfortable with this, so he deleted everything related to Liverpool on his social media. Darwin Nunez's future is very dependent on Liverpool unless there is a club that wants to redeem him at a high price. The problems faced by him are complicated because he failed to become a deadly striker for Liverpool so that the expected expectations were different. Darwin Nunez also experienced difficult times at the beginning of arrival at Liverpool because he did not become a distinguishing figure in the squad.

I don't think that rumors can end sweetly for Barcelona and if indeed Darwin Nunez goes not Barcelona. The financial conditions experienced by Barcelona do not have the opportunity to recruit Darwin Nunez because he has a high release clause and Barcelona's financial condition will definitely be disturbed if trying to do this.
Sorry, what are those bad treatments? can you list what had Liverpool did to Nunez?

I'm really sure Liverpool makes him comfortable, his teammates support him by giving so many chances even though his shots like shit, Nunez mostly included in starting lineup, he has a lot minutes played etc.

So, I don't see he didn't get enough in Liverpool, he's actually treated like a golden boy even though he didn't perform well.

Ahead of the match against Arsenal, Erik Ten Hag confirmed that Mason Mount would be absent from the field again after suffering a new injury. It is still unclear what injury Mason Mount suffered and what is clear is that he received the injury during a training session with the Red Devils squad.

Mason Mount has been injured countless times this season and it looks like he is having less luck at Manchester United. In fact, against Crystal Palace he also played and had no problems at all. Could it be that there were irregularities during the training sessions given by Erik Ten Hag, so we often see Manchester United players getting injured during training? Well, we don't know clearly about the training methods used and we hope that all the players recover quickly, including Mason Mount.
Totally useless player, he suffered a long time injury, when he's already recovered, he contributes nothing in the pitch. At least Pogba and Lukaku are better than him, even they often suffered many injuries, but they can perform.

Too bad his contract is still long, it will end in 2028, there's still 4 years and he can earn money without doing anything. Manchester United need to lend this guy to other team.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your top mistakes in crypto - learning from others experiences! on: May 10, 2024, 09:24:05 AM
These weren't my mistakes, but it happened on other people:

1. Hold your coins in centralized exchanges, if the CEX got hacked, they lost all of their coins.
2. Buy shitcoins, instead of making money, they're in loss.
3. Privacy, people didn't mind to publicizing themselves if they own Bitcoin, until they being targeted by $5 wrench attack
4. Buy Bitcoin by relying on someone else advise and use emergency funds, it make them can't hold for long term and might sell in loss.
5. Thinking Bitcoin will make them rich, if they didn't have money, they can't even buy Bitcoin.

It was really interesting to see Joselu being the one to save Real Madrid last night.  Grin  However my opinion on him won't change of course. He isn't more than an average player and he is old. These factors must be enough to see that this transfer would be bad for Manchester United. They need to think of a long term signing with a quality striker instead.
Real Madrid don't want to sign an one match wonder, they're looking for consistent and high quality players. It's why when there are few good players that can give a lot contribution in few matches or one season, but they're declining in the next one or two seasons, Real Madrid won't extend their contracts.

There's Alexander Isaak and Ivan Toney thriving in the Premier League scoring goals and you want Manchester United to bring in a low profile player? I don't need to be told how mad these posters have been.
Both Isak and Toney aren't even good.

Isak is just one season wonder, we don't know with the next season. While Toney can't perform in this season.

Look, how exactly mixers help your friend in this case? if mixers really help criminal to stay anonymous/undetected, why he can get caught? I don't see mixers should be blamed in this case, actually mixers didn't help him.

Many people are going to hate me for this but I don't blame the law for going after mixers and privacy featured wallets in crypto space, if you believe that you are clean it is only to yourself, the other users might not, you really can't tell who to trust or not.
Nope, I don't blame you to teach/discuss about mixers.

Many things are two edged sword, if a mother teach a kids to use knife to cut apples, but this kids stabbed someone using knife, is the mother a criminal and should going to jail?
