It's quite strange that Man United wants Joselu, who in fact is no longer young. What I know is that Man United really wants to make big changes, but Joselu shouldn't be part of that plan because he is not the right signing for long term plans. I think Man United just took advantage of the opportunity because they could get Joselu at a fairly cheap price as a backup for Rasmus Hojlund. This sounds good for me especially given that Manchester United has had a terrible season since Onana arrived as a new goalkeeper in manchester united to replace de gea which has been performing even more superior than him. He had a fantastic season in espanyol last season even though his team was not lucky enough in staying at la liga, finishing second after Benzema in terms of goals and this is also the reason from real madrid to take him as a striker. Things were not going well because his efforts to carry the team did not yield positive results as Espaanyol was still relegated to the lower leagues and it's very disappointed result that forced him to go back again to the real madrid. Mason Greenwood is a talented talent and it looks like he should leave rather than return to Manchester United. It was better than having to return to his childhood club which had no progress there like this season. But the problem is that if Manchester United wants to sell him then they will set a big price and I don't think Getafe will be able to make him permanent.

Manchester United have made contact with Joselu, according to a report.

Joselu? Oh, come on.    I really wonder who recommended Joselu to Manchester United. Maybe it is time to part ways with them.   

Joking apart, what will they do with Joselu who is at the age of 34. Apart from his age I believe he isn't a quality player either. I don't think he deserves to play for a big team regularly. I know Ancelotti gives him chances but if Real Madrid had a star striker Joselu wouldn't find much chance.

Manchester United should first focus on transfers that will improve the defense. Then they can think of signings for other areas.

I would like to say that Joselu is definitely not a bad approach from Manchester United. Because first of all, I know that the players who are actually good are not going to go to Manchester United. Because nobody wants their career to end.

But yes it is a little surprising to see Manchester United actually approach him instead of any other players. Maybe they want to save themselves from embarrassment. As I said, it is hard to believe that a player who is actually good and/or showing good potential is actually going to be interested in Manchester United.
