Supposedly he is hiding in China.  I don't expect him to come back to America.

ok but in china is the number 1 in Altcointrading, so they could bring him to justice there.
I bet for sure he scammed chinese investors too, so they can bring him to the communist death penalty court ?

122  Economy / Exchanges / Re: *WARNING* Coins-e.com is MTGox'ing users?? on: February 21, 2016, 10:50:19 PM
coins-e is a ghost site fishing for newbies.

it is 1,5years in this state. no support, no contact possible.
Funds go only in but not out.

123  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Cryptsy can save itself on: February 21, 2016, 10:46:57 PM
I agree.  Even if we can't get any money (bitcoins) back from him, we need to make sure he faces justice through the courts and is punished.

That would be nice. Look how long it took for Karpeles though. Tongue

but that fat dude got some rough treatment in japan, i read what they do usually (you are gulity until its proven otherwise...)
he got some japanese justice culture package Cheesy

Big Vern needs that too.
124  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy plot thickens on: February 21, 2016, 10:43:32 PM
If he gets deported but has all of his money in a private bitcoin address, there's still no way to get those funds.  I lost some money, but I don't see how we can get it back.  The government can't just seize funds from a bitcoin account.  That's kind of the whole point of it.  In this case it hurts us.

i think at least something should happen, this divorce crap is really not a priority.
His wife has for sure less demand than the million $ funds he stole/holds on hostage
125  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy on: February 21, 2016, 01:29:37 PM
who can do it?

people near by in america should have the easiest path i think

why is I2p usage the master question?

I suggested to implement (I2p / Freenet) to ANC before ages (at v 0.7.x if i rember it correctly)
and i am happy that it become reality.

i have experience with i2p/Tor/Freenet and 4 other less known Networks.
At the moment i have other high priority issues Smiley so i did not tested the ANC I2p function, but i trust the dude before who posted it worked Smiley.

greetings
127  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: February 12, 2016, 09:56:09 PM
Who in the world controls the bitcoin? I don't understand where it appeared and how it began to be one of the official currencies?
Who controls the course of Bitcoin?

There are two small groups that control bitcoin 100%, the miners and the developers. Either can implement whatever changes they want.

Other may argue the "community" could reject these changes but the community really has no power other than voicing their complaints to those two groups.

exactly, this is the truth.
Its like in modern a democracy, the people with power (developers=politicans) can do shit and then users can only whine about it xD.
These romantic decentralisation stories arent real, developers + miners control the currency.
The only "power" the users have is to loose money if the developers/miners do some stupid stuff by accident or on purpose.

greetings

I tried out the new Client and i am really supprised! Cheesy

Fast Connections without messing with config files (9 Connections)
the History isn't so Huge like other Coins.
New Features (I2P + Tor), which gives ANC the real purpose to be anon.

great work,
129  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITSTAMP NOT TRUSTWORTHY BE CAREFUL! on: February 06, 2016, 03:30:27 AM
great and sad at the same time - after Mtgox, then Cryptsy now Bitstamp. For me the hole Cryptoshit proof of concept failed in the betastage extreme! i go bank to convetional Money, the benefits of cryptomoney are so outnumbered by the reality , i am realy done with this shit.

133  Economy / Exchanges / Cryptsy Announcement 1/25/2016 ?? on: January 27, 2016, 08:30:24 AM
Cryptsy Announcement: http://blog.cryptsy.com/ ALL trading and deposits are OFF. More wallets opened for withdrawal 1/25/2016

They claim new wallets are open, but the blog does not contain new information the last post is from 1/19/2016
Does anyone have new info which wallets are newly opened for withdrawl?

I tried yesterday ifc & ltc , they are blocked, and my vtc are vanished in the balance sheet so i cant even try to withdrawl them.
134  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy - International Customers on: January 27, 2016, 08:25:34 AM
i think if only US customers find a voice in the court than it is crap.
I mean even in the mt gox scandal i was contacted by the japanese court by postcard if i want to participate.
Thats the way it should be.

(i had an  account but 0 balance)
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: January 26, 2016, 04:10:25 PM
dont get me wrong i hold ANC too, but i think cryptsy has bigger problems than fixing their anc wallet
they are nearly bankcrupt so i am sure they think about that the most.

what did you made think they might work on it? any evidence?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: January 26, 2016, 04:30:55 AM
since a lot of exchange exposed as scam (cryptsy,bter,coins-e,vircurex) and others just go offlice,

last place to trade are the chinese exchances it seems to me.
http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=anc

the price for anc/cny also seems good in my opinion (it could be much  worse) i am an optismist lol

138  Economy / Exchanges / Re: *WARNING* Coins-e.com is MTGox'ing users?? on: January 23, 2016, 09:37:59 PM
i had these Problems until 1 year, the site is dead because no support.
Its just fishing funds, thats why its online until today.

139  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HELP / suggestion needed on: January 23, 2016, 09:36:05 PM
Can you suggest another exchange as legit?
Poloinex is good but IFC vs. Monero is very low volume  and i cant judge if the price is good or not, i am more familiar with IFC vs LTC or BTC.

greetings
