Jihad in Islamic terminology means to make an effort, to endeavour and to strive in a noble way. Over the centuries this meaning of Jihad has been obliterated or at least diluted. The critical juncture in the Islamic world requires reviving and recapturing the true and pristine meaning of Jihad.

Some Muslims translate Jihad to English using the word "struggle." There's been a "My Jihad" ad campaign describing Muslims struggling to be better people and stuff. In German, "My Struggle" would be translated as "Mein Kampf." This is probably just a historical coincidence (although Hitler was allied with Muslims), but it's still quite an interesting coincidence.
122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 26, 2015, 11:59:55 AM
I think it's because people fail to realise what Islam really is... They assume it's something dangerous.

It's the people who believe Islam isn't dangerous who are doing the assuming. The only way to believe Islam isn't dangerous is to be utterly ignorant of Islam's origins, teachings and history.
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: RESPONSE TO ISIS AND OTHER ISLAMIC MILLITANTS GROUPS on: December 18, 2015, 11:20:20 AM
The verse of the Holy Quran is often mentioned to malign Islam. The verse does not say infidels it says idolaters. (9:5) ""And when the forbidden months have passed, kill the idolaters wherever you find them and take them prisoners, and beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent and observe Prayer and pay the Zakat, then leave their way free. Surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful"".

This is a somewhat amusing distinction. Don't kill infidels, just idolaters. Humans believe the strangest things.
124  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Were the Farooks Islamic? on: December 17, 2015, 01:08:09 AM
Yes. Obviously. Nothing more to say.

But, of course, I'll say more. I consider someone to be Islamic / be a Muslim if they believe both of the following propositions:

(1) There is exactly one god.
(2) Mohammed was a prophet of this god.

This casts a wide net and would probably include many people, but obviously would include all Jihadis, including the Farooks.

And, of course, the Jihadis are following Mohammed's example, as every educated person knows. Everyone who says Jihad has "nothing to do with Islam" is either ignorant or lying.

PS: Fuck Islam.
125  Other / Politics & Society / French moron compares FN to Daesh; Marine Le Pen tweets pics of Daesh atrocities on: December 17, 2015, 12:43:35 AM
An idiot French "journalist" -- Jean-Jacques Bourdin (one of the evil JJs) -- compared Daesh (Islamic State/ISIL/ISIS) to the Front National. Marine Le Pen (head of the FN) responded by a series of tweets to clarify the difference. The tweets were pictures of ISIS murdering people by beheading, burning alive and running over them with a tank.

https://twitter.com/MLP_officiel/status/677041625315614720

She might get charged with "inciting racial hatred" (again!) for tweeting these. This makes as much sense as saying someone is "inciting racial hatred" against Nazis by showing photos of Nazi atrocities, but the point isn't to make sense. The point is to silence people pointing out who these new Nazis (Jihadis) are, what they do on a regular basis.

I've taken screenshots of the tweets in case Twitter removes them, not that I have any reasonable platform to publicize them either.

Those of us who take the Jihadi threat seriously need to come up with some kind of plan for combatting what's happening. It's obvious Western governments are more interested in silencing anti-Jihadis than taking action against actual Jihadis.

The first actions should probably be directed against non-Muslim Islamophiles in the West -- the ones who lie about Islam and lie about its critics. The West should become at least as unsafe for Islam's defenders as it is for Islam's critics.

If you live in a modern Western country and know a non-Muslim who says Islam is a religion of peace and Islamophobia is the real problem, please spit in their face the next time you see them. I won't say what you should do after you spit in their face, but follow your heart.
126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French regional elections, 2015 on: December 14, 2015, 07:41:27 PM
It's a disappointing result, but not surprising to me. It's always seemed like a minority of the French that are willing to even admit there is an Islam problem in their country, and that the problem will likely mean the destruction of their country and culture.

As far as I'm concerned, they've voted for their extinction. Let them have it.

Every Charlie Hebdo massacre, every Paris attack, every French Jew tortured to death or Jewish French child shot in a school, every Jihadi massacre. The French have voted for it. Let them live and die with it. Let them go dancing to their graves satisfied with the final post-beheading thought: at least we stopped the FN.

All collectivists are fools.

If overwhelmingly attacked by a collective, presumably you would just accept the attack?

No. Only fools would.

And so you would fight the collective on your own, to prove that collectivists are fools, and would happily accept injury or death? I don't think you actually would. It would be a foolish thing to do.

The worst outcrop of herd life [is] the military system, which I abhor.  That a man can take pleasure in marching in fours to the strains of a band is enough to make me despise him.  He has only been given his big brain by mistake; unprotected spinal marrow was all he needed.  This plague-spot of civilization ought to be abolished with all possible speed.  Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism - how passionately I hate them!  How vile and despicable war seems to me!  I would rather be hacked in pieces than take part in such an abominable business. Einstein

Well, so there's your answer. He would respond vigorously to the attack by throwing anti-war quotes at them.

Until someone decided a phrase in the quote is hate speech, and then he'd apologize.

"plague-spot of civilization"? That's a micro-aggression. You know, I think plague victims have been shunned from polite society long enough. It's time to welcome those with the plague among us. There's nothing dangerous about the plague. Plagueophobia is the real danger.
128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 08, 2015, 04:53:16 PM
Part of the problem is that too many people equate being Muslim to being of a certain ethnicity or race. It's like confusing being a Nazi with being German. It's stupid to hate Germans (well, for the most part), but fine to hate Nazis. It's also stupid to make excuses for a Nazi in those cases where they aren't German. It misses the point.

It's fine to hate Islam. There's plenty to hate. It's based on the ravings of an illiterate violent 7th century lunatic. It's also fine to laugh at it. It is quite funny that billions of people have fallen for the ravings of an illiterate violent 7th century lunatic (and pedophile!).

It's also fine to hate Muslims. They're capable of seeing through the bullshit, but they either choose not to or choose to pretend not to. I hate Nazis who didn't really believe in National Socialism but just goosestepped along in an unthinking manner.

It's not fine to hate an ex-Muslim because they were born into a Muslim culture. On the contrary, people who could grow up in such a repressive and insane environment and be willing to stand up and say, "Islam is bullshit" -- those are some of the best people in the world. And, hell, they need asylum/refugee status much more than Allahu Ackbaring morons.

“The cheapest sort of pride is national pride; for if a man is proud of his own nation, it argues that he has no qualities of his own of which he can be proud; otherwise he would not have recourse to those which he shares with so many millions of his fellowmen. The man who is endowed with important personal qualities will be only too ready to see clearly in what respects his own nation falls short, since their failings will be constantly before his eyes. But every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and glad to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.” Arthur Schopenhauer

This applies even moreso to the Ummah. Jihadis are the most "miserable fools,"

All collectivists are fools.

I actually agree with you on this. My current support for the FN is strategic against the most dangerous fools of the moment. It's a shame that individualists have done nothing to counter the clear Jihadist threat. On the contrary, I've heard far too many people who claim to be individualists make excuses for Jihadists, or claim that Muslims were not responsible for attacks (like those of September 11) at all. Worst of all is that some people who claim to be individualists assert that Islam is compatible with individual liberty, when even those with minimal knowledge of Islam know that Islam means submission. To believe that individual liberty is compatible to total submission requires an amazing ability to believe bullshit.

One of the first things required for individualists to push back against the Jihadist threat is to be able to speak openly and honestly about Islam, its foundation and its beliefs. Such speech has been criminalized in much of the world. Even if it's not criminal, everyone knows there is an effective death penalty which will be carried out by Jihadists. The Front National says some of the inconvenient truths about Islam, while the "mainstream" parties parrot comforting lies.

Of course, the pseudonymity and censorship-resistance of cryptocurrencies could provide a way to engage in such speech without risking one's head (either figuratively in the case of legal consequences or very very literally in the obvious sense). Why isn't anyone using them for this purpose? Why instead do so many in this space make excuses for Jihadists and demonize those who speak out against Jihadists?

My answer is simply that the world has gone mad. Most of the people who claim to be "individualists" are simply a different kind of collectivist. They want to signal that they believe the "right things" -- the beliefs of their tribe -- "Islam is peace." "Terrorism is always blowback or false flags." "Jihad means internal struggle." "2+2=5." "Freedom is slavery." "Liberty is submission."

For those of you afraid of the FN, there's an easy way to stop their rise. Admit you have a problem with a Jihad-friendly segment of your population. And after admitting it fucking deal with it. Your refusal to even admit it, much less deal with it, for decades leaves me with no sympathy for you.

The Front National aren't going to stop any terrorist attacks using immigration policy. It's really that simple, and so your claims the organisation will "deal with it" are not credible.

If there is an attack on the free will of a region of people, the answer is not a deterioration of free-will. The answer should be to strengthen freedom. Reject all political power, including those who seek political power through violent means (as well as those that attained or maintain it that way). Cryptography will govern in the end (or nature will take the reins again).

I don't know if the Front National will "deal with" the problem or not, or if what they do will be effective. I wouldn't be surprised if they went out of their way to prove they're not "racist" if they ever do get to power. I wasn't claiming the FN will "deal with it." My claim was simply that the other "mainstream" parties definitely will not "deal with it." We know this for a fact because they've had decades and they still deny there is a problem. A year that started with the false "Je suis Charlie" claims is ending with the importation of over a million refugees who are happy about the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

I agree with your last paragraph, but I'm not sure how it applies to the Jihad problem. I wish I did. Maybe you have some ideas you can share?

MAKE AN EXAMPLE. NUKE SAUDI ARABIA!

How many more westerners are we willing to sacrifice on the altar of tolerating violent ignorance from barbarians? Do you want to wait until THEY get nukes too?

...

I understand if you don't want to nuke, but at least do an extensive firebombing campaign all over Saudi Arabia, assassinate or otherwise detain every member of the Saud Royal Family. Literal heads on pikes on display for the survivors, none in the Middle East will mistake where the true power lies then.

Sometimes in war you must make hard choices. I know violence is terrible and there will be a TON of collateral damage in any bombing campaign, but folks, this barbaric madness has to stop and this is the only way it ever will. The time for tolerance and mercy is over. Now is the time for hard teaching.

We know limpdick milquetoast Obama won't do it, so maybe we should appeal directly to military top brass..

Holy shit, someone reasonable bought Beliathon's account! Makes my day.

... the cheerleaders of the Front National and alikes.

Le Pen is going to rock the vote, and I'm going to rub her victory in your face.

As promised...

About 40% of French voters are "cheerleaders of the Front National."

How do your words taste, now that you have to eat them?   Cool

Yes, Anton Hinkel knew as many cheerleaders behind him as well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMIIpe-suAs

It feels great to have some of that kind of collectivists in the Bitcoin environment.

Collectivists?  Nope, FN just destroyed the Socialist Party.  Do you even read the articles or just look at the pretty pictures?

From the comfort of your armchair, it's easy to call 40% of French voters Nazis.  I'd like to see you say something so offensive to them in person.

It's OK, I know you are just butthurt because I told you "Le Pen is going to rock the vote" and that's exactly what happened.

The youngest Le Pen grew up clubbing with her trendy hipster/black/gay/Muslim/Jew/whatever friends.

Given that, the ancient Chaplin-as-Hitler meme just looks absurd.  It's in black and white FFS.  Stop living in the old world of Great-Grandpa Jean-Marie.

The ladies have taken over the party and two large districts.  Soon they will take over the rest of France.  Some dusty film from the 30s won't stop them.

If you can't handle that fact, suicide is always a convenient option.   Wink

It's definitely a good result. There's still the run-offs next Sunday though. I imagine the real collectivists will go after the FN full force. Hopefully the FN will pull it off though. I think the election in 2017 is probably more important. A lot can happen between now and then.

For those of you afraid of the FN, there's an easy way to stop their rise. Admit you have a problem with a Jihad-friendly segment of your population. And after admitting it fucking deal with it. Your refusal to even admit it, much less deal with it, for decades leaves me with no sympathy for you.

The amount of blood on the floor makes my stomach churn.  Angry
Probably, this is why they choose to slit necks - to make it as gory as possible.

Actually, they probably do it because the Quran 8:12 says:

Quote from: lunatic
[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."

Muslims have literally been commanded by their god to do this. Others can yell "you no muslim, brotha" all they want. Quran 8:12 is a clear command from their god.

If there is a future, it will look back at this period with stunned disbelief at the madness required for the level of denial non-Muslims have achieved.

It's obviously haram, as others have clearly pointed out.

Just ask yourself: What would Mohammed do? Would he invest in binary options?

No, of course not.

He'd gather a band of followers, engage in a series of military excursions and behead his enemies. Then he'd invade the neighboring city, destroy the idols of their religions, force the acceptance of a single god and then fuck a 9 year old.

So, follow Mohammed's example and stay away from binary options.

oh god please no racist. religion is an sensitive things to mention. this should be a tight discussion if someone linking this kind topic with a religion it would be hard. but for binary, islam is fobade it.

It sounds like we're mostly in agreement that binary options are forbidden (haram). I was just trying to back up the conclusion by citing examples from Mohammed's life.

Islam is very clear in being against binary options. Islam is all about unity. To be halal you must invest in unary options.

One God. One prophet. One option.

The difference is this case is the opportunity to survive, the Armenians didn't deserve to be massacred, but individually they had options which wouldn't be available in a nuclear strike... A nuclear attack is like genocide on steroids, served with a side of torture for dessert...

Nukes target civilian populations, civilian populations are targeted to destroy their ability to sustain a war effort. For what rational purpose would Russia feel compelled to take that course of action against a country like Turkey? It's simply unwarranted...

No offense, but it's crazy to say the Armenians had options.

It probably would be irrational for Russia to nuke the turks. There are better ways to fuck the turkish animals and maybe earn some profit on the side. But I disagree that it's unwarranted. It's warranted. It's justifiable. And the turks totally deserve it.

But don't worry turks, I'm sure if Putin tries to nuke you your all-Ackbary Allah can stop a nuke. Fucking morons.

Omg. I am surpsied you can actually use the internet. You are an complete idiot. Simply put racists are stupid.

Omg. Is u still surpsied?

Just kidding. Seriously, thanks for your thoughtful reply. It's caused me to seriously rethink my views on Islam in general and Turkish culture in particular. In both cases they've clearly been nothing but positive influences bringing the human species towards enlightenment and modernity.

Wait, now I'm just kidding. Seriously, I hope to hear Erdogan and his lackies have some mysterious Litvinenko style symptoms soon. No need for a big nuke destroying valuable infrastructure. Just poison the dogs.
140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jeremy Corbyn - Your views on Syria on: November 29, 2015, 04:03:32 PM
Unfortunately too many people (like saddampbuh) think that we can just bomb our problems away and everything will be OK again. The history of the relations between many Middle Eastern countries and the West suggests otherwise.

To be fair, I don't think saddampbuh thinks the UK can "bomb [their] problems away and everything will be OK again." From his previous postings I think he thinks the problems in the UK are due to immigration policies over decades. The way the problems could have been avoided would've been by listening to Enoch Powell in the 1960s. Admittedly, Powell's so-called Rivers-of-Blood speech has turned out to be quite prophetic.

And, to be clear, I'm definitely no fan of saddampbuh. He's well-informed and often right, but then he always ends up saying it's-the-fault-of-the-Jews -- something I definitely, vehemently disagree with. In fact, I'll bet he still thinks I'm an evil Jew and my current post is part of a very sneaky trick.

Anyway, after  decades of importing Muslims determined to impose Shariah law (one nation, under Allah, with Burkas and Beheadings for all!), there's only one way to avoid these kinds of problems in the U.K. Get the fuck out of the U.K. Same goes for France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, and so on.

By the way, if the likes of Cameron or Corbyn ever try to flee what they've helped create, every reasonable country on Earth should respond: fuck you, live and die with it.
