121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 21, 2019, 02:30:14 PM
Every player have different reason why they play a gambling, first they want a money more so they play it what ever the consequences they need to that even me because I have needs to buy too, second is when  a person is really stress or want to have a enjoying himself by playing it because we know others have different purpose why they gamble it depends to they needs or they wants to achieve.

We can do other divertion of stress aside from gambling, that doesn't involve money. You can go on vacation with nice places and do some extreme sports if you like. Every person as you said is unique and have different views, that's why gambling for fun is good but needs to be minimize to avoid addictions.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Daniel Jacobs vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on: December 21, 2019, 01:11:51 PM
Second time it happen again for Chavez Jr. he gave up again in his corner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftgl1zAqGB4 he is throwing big punches until he says he don't want anymore must be the cut or the the hands, but one thing for sure fans don't like the way it ended, they think they have been short changed.

There could be serious reason for Chavez decision on giving up, maybe it's for his physical condition. At first the fans might not be amaze on that situation, eventually they'll realize it was for his safety. We will have to accept defeat for our favorite fighter, and even with popular boxers like Pacquiao also experienced losing on his fights.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP may crash 80% per Wyckoff Schematic analysis on: December 21, 2019, 12:02:09 PM
XRP has already crashed so be it 80% or 90% it has been dwelling on a bad tides and staying for a long time in the losing side.
Technically speaking, this is a speculation which is obviously possible to happen.

After that crash, there would be possible pumps to initiate soon. Let's wait for that, as bitcoin started to gain a little percentage lately which I seen $7k stabilizing better tracks. Fluctuating market might be so unpredictable, we must take this challenge seriously.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best crypto projects created in 2019? on: December 20, 2019, 12:59:41 PM
That's considered two years of bearish market, because after the last 2017 bullrun the market started to fall eventually.
I couldn't find to have a confident idea to believe that there's a successful project created this year, because in reality that's unfortunately no one has come to that point.
Stop that illusions now, just stay calm and choose holding your asset while waiting for the perfect time.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who wins and What next step? on: December 20, 2019, 12:31:10 PM
Good example of both side of gambling greed and how gambling site or any gambling operation works. My uncle who works in a casino always tell me not to gamble because it is always the house that wins. This example shows no matter what happens even if we win or lose we always get greedy and ends up bankrupt by the end of the day.
maybe better to say Majority losses but there are some people that make living this gambling field and i know there is a topic here that tackles that issue.

i have a cousin as well who works as dealer wayback and same thing that he tells me,it is most probably the house will win and a chance of players to win is very tiny and small.

but using brain and heart?i think we can survive in gambling ,without addiction of course.

We won't be addicted if we didn't let ourselves perform gambling habitually. Always think of it many times, you're the one responsible for controlling yourself, no other than, it's not your parents, friends, or your family. Gambling can be done occasionally, it doesn't need to be a daily activity because it's not required as our source income for survival.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 20, 2019, 11:08:37 AM
I just need an excess budget for my gambling lucky bets, and the rest of that money was allocated for family budget and emergency funds for health. That doesn't need to set aside huge amount of money intended for gambling, we just have to use little amount only to enjoy gambling in a simple ways. I don't know with other gamblers, but in my own mindset that's really the best options to do as well.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: fundraising question on: December 20, 2019, 10:26:05 AM
I agree that a lot of ICOs are scam and a lot of people got scammed and is very hard to get that money back but maybe in future all people will do research and will not invest anymore in blind and will get eaht they expect.
i dont think searching for a project is the answer to not get scam. The problem is the technology behind the ethereum contract and ICO there are many breach that can be use to scam people. The solution is  making it more secure to investors not by only searching for good project.
That totally a reversed idea about searching for a project to avoid scam. The more close your are with several rising project, is the more prone you are to be a scam victim. How can we search those potential good project? Despite that most of them we're just putting some shady deceptive promotion.
I would dream for a website who really and honestly register trusted project that will pass through serious scrutiny.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: xrp to 28$ on: December 19, 2019, 02:17:15 PM
hello everyone I see that much of traders company and wheels speak about xrp that could hit 28$ I would like to know what do you think about is this possible ?
The all time high of XRP price was $3.84 at 2017 ago and now its price only $0.1 based on coinmarketcap.

I guess it needs a long time to achive $28, moreover if you heard it from their investors they will do anything to attract a lot of people.

Something that should be reck by you when you get interest to invest in altcoin, you should compare the information. I mean, don't just take an information from the developer or their investor sometimes you need to look another source.

Xrp is now gaining more praises from different anonymous holders and traders, so it's not impossible to reach that price of $28 each. As you said it needs long time, well I think most coins right now needs that not only for xrp, but also with other promising coins as well as their popularity. While the price was still affordable, don't waste this opportunity! purchase xrp before it's too late.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 19, 2019, 01:49:16 PM
what i realized about my gambling journey?that never use this place as profiteering area because if you does?for sure you will be ending nothing.i have already experienced the hardest way gambling life must be and believe me this is not good.
you may lose your love ones or even family and friend if you put all your eggs in gambling so be aware and keep living like normal ways.
When you will put your friends and family share of time and money into gambling, definitely they will leave you eventually. For family, you need to have money and time. Towards your family, you have countless responsibilities and ignoring them simply leads to destruction of family which neither good for gambler nor the family members. So simply gamble to enjoy not for earning and satisfying greed.
You make a good statement because gamblers need to learn how to put his family first not that he will get carried away by the game through the act of satisfying his greed but i still believe lack of knowledge about the genuine theory of gambling is what make some gambler to be greed and addiction.
These gamblers became greed because they allowed themselves to be a slave with the bad habits. But I don't understand why other old gamblers both managed family and being an occasional gambler. Most probably they earned bigger amount of money I guess.
Unlike what I've learned from gambling was to always value hard earned money not to be used for any form of gambling, just a simple mindset to share reality for everybody.
No, it not that the old gamblers earned big amount of money was the reason they are able to managed their family and still be occasional gambler. What happen is that they simply understand the practical, theory of gambling and built a strategy to gamble profitable which what most of these days not make as their number priority.
@Ahimoth, it not that they let themselves to be enslave with bad habit because what happen is lack of knowledge. When someone lack knowledge about something he'll an ignorant of what he's doing and before he know it, he will be slave of the consequences of his habit.
@Hulla, most gamblers of these day usually said they gamble for fun etc while they do it because of the rewards instead of them to first study how to control their buzz and how to gamble profitably.

Those are all part of the learning process, and if a person has few awareness of what's he's doing on gambling? Certainly he will be tied up with those consequences. No excuse for that mate, all of us learned from the experiences that we had regardless of how bad or good it was. Don't let the failures pull you down, always be strong and use that as your core strength to achieve success from what you've learned.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting cryptocurrency through altcoin on: December 19, 2019, 12:56:50 PM
we can not introduce altcoin directly to those who are not familiar with cryptocurrency because it is confusing for them. that is why when we are promoting cryptocurrency, it is all started with bitcoin as a principle and then we can start introducing altcoin to them.
they need a basic to get to know about altcoin, we can not force them to understand altcoin without letting them know about bitcoin. do it step by step, right now there are a lot of people joined and participated in the altcoin project. they were all started it because of bitcoin.

Don't rush out with complicated explaination when promoting cryptocurrency, always start with the basics with simple bitcoin as an asset. Many people got interested with different altcoins projects, but most of them wasn't successful. Sad to say, last year and this year has no good news about previous altcoins project due to falling market value of cryptocurrency.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Is Key to the Mass Adoption of Crypto on: December 19, 2019, 07:21:09 AM
Online games are popular right now. Different ages also play online games and I believe that gaming can really catch people's attention especially that most gamers are millennials and still young. They can easily understand and adopt with technology and changes. What more if crypto would be used in games. I don't think it's the key, but it's a way to get closer to mass adoption. We just need someone who can create a game that uses crypto that is also addictive.

Yes, it's undeniable that many individuals appreciated the convenience ways of using crypto in gambling. I can't say finally that it would be the key to bigger factor of crypto adoption, but chances are there that it's big contribution to the growing market of digital currency. That's not fast to commence, however with it's consistent demand, we will soon experience cryptocurrency's massive increase.
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happy "to the Moon" annual on: December 18, 2019, 10:54:35 PM
Ahhh it's been two years, I can still feel the hype during that time but we have to move on and still hoping that there will be a better bull run not this time but hopefully by next year or so. That 2017 bull run made everybody greedy and it's the reason why many haven't sold during that fruitful days. I didn't sell a lot but still managed to get a chunk of profit. This year is ending and more hopes are coming for 2020 and what if the same date would be good next year as 2017?

I could take that as a great surprise of 2020, and while we're still experiencing the recovery period of bitcoin right now, we must not waste our time buying another btc. Saving it is the best strategy to make in order to increase profit, when bullrun comes. Once another scenario same with 2017 will happen, I think everyone is more clever now and won't let their asset fall with hype traps.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Selling on: December 18, 2019, 01:27:13 AM
although this often happens at the end of the year, it looks like the end of this year is not much different from the end of 2018. Well, I also don't have any idea about this.  I heard that the lowest price of bitcoin could be $ 6500 this month, and it looks like it will get worse.  in fact, many altcoin prices are also dumps.  the only thing we can do is wait for price recovery.

Looks like more people are spending a lot these days, and the predictions was barely influencing a lot of panic holders. Just ignore this downtrend, because it will go back prior new year comes. Let's grab the cheaper price opportunity, and hold while it's still having the highest chance for btc price to spike soon.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is this gift right? Send 0.5 ETH = 1ETH on: December 17, 2019, 03:05:50 PM
This is absolutely scam! Don't fall for it, don't try it with even 0.50 USD! Where did you see? or you the man is promoting this scam shit thing? In the telegram, many people do this almost every month, and they have many alternative telegram accounts and photoshopped screenshots to spread lies that I got it, it's real and so on! However, you gave a screenshotort, can you give the trx link to verify?

False promises spreads several helarious attempts on telegram, and this was a very serious issues that are about to disturb a lot of users. We should he more vigilant these days on unknown person who can randomly contact you without any reason. Always keep an eye on this matter, and avoid trusting anyone specially when it talks about crypto funds.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese City Warns Investors: Crypto Isn’t Blockchain on: December 17, 2019, 02:19:47 PM
Weihai, a port city in Shandong province of eastern China, has a stern warning for investors: make sure you are really investing in blockchain innovation and not cryptocurrency masquerading as blockchain.

The Weihai Local Financial Supervision and Administration said Friday investors should be more cautious because illegal crypto issuance and trading are on the rise, according to a statement from the authority.

https://www.coindesk.com/chinese-city-warns-investors-crypto-isnt-blockchain

I think indeed the blockchain and cryptocurrency are different entities. Blockchain is a technology used by the developer team to make cryptocurrency so I think blockchain can be used for anything, including business. Many industries have begun to look at blockchain technology for efficiency and I think this will affect people's views of cryptocurrency to be positive

Hopefully it will affect with positive response as well as it's outcome. Cryptocurrency is a broad and wide coverage for all people who has different views on finances. That why it's so important for the individuals to learn and grow more mature on cryptocurrency, in order to obtain a strong foundation for their assets.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice on p2p trading on telegram on: December 17, 2019, 01:02:22 PM
The problem now is his insisting I send first before he can pay, claiming that he can't pay for what he have not seen.
Was he the one who initiated buying your tokens? If so, how does he know that you have them?

My question now is should I send the token to him first or I should just block him???
Don't send your tokens first. Tell that user that you will use a trusted escrow in this forum and that he will pay for the fee. If that proposal gets rejected right away and still insist that you send first, then just ignore or block him. If he is serious in buying your tokens, he would probably make another proposal like you sharing on the escrow fee.

Indeed, if this man is honest and trusted he'd prefer trading at reputable exchanges like binance. It can be done through trading site sell order and both parties can do opposite transactions. You can do the sell order and and the buyer will cater the order once it was successfully been raised. This is the very safe one, instead of dealing with his strangers scam tricks.
137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Profitability of Trading Bots on: December 17, 2019, 11:37:20 AM
I am curious if people have had success with trading bots in cryptocurrency.

I have recently set up a bot and have been astounded by the operability of it. It's actually working lol.
Well, if you have also had luck or interesting experiences with trading bots let me know =]. Cheers
I think it depends on the bot you're using. As time goes on it gets better I guess, and you start making profit. But you need to look for the best trading bots, and there is no guarantee that you will finish the day with profit because you're using bots. I don't have interest in trading bots, I prefer to trade when I have the time and that's because I do get chance after my work.

Trading bots are different, and if you're the type that likes "free" then you should go for open-source bots, but one thing you should know is that open-source might not be profitable. I don't think will build a profitable bot and leave it for free, lol. Instead of making use of these, I will advise you to go for HODL (Long term trading). Even paid bots are not profitable based on what I've read from Reddit, so it's best for you to go long term Hodl. Your choice though.
I do not use trading bots because of the risks, I known many people that are using these tools but they still losing money. I will never let my money traded by an AI. It is still betyer if I'm the one who managing my capital. Even if I'm busy at my full time work, I still manage to trade cryptocurrencies because of the strategies that I keep doing. I do not have plan to use trading bots because my money is not safe there and I cannot guarantee the gains there.

Using bots for trading has no certain results in terms of profit, because it was only an artificial intelligent coming from a robot computer. In my own thinking, that's only break even due to uncertainty about of the profit which cannot be relied on most of the time. What's more important is you've learned a lot from your own efforts to gain sustainable profit.

In your list, I see only Hydax and Bcnex are fine. Bcnex has attracted more than $ 28 million and their team is trying their best to develop exchange. You can visit Bcnex's Twitter page to see how active they are in promoting reputation. As for Hydax, it is actually one of the most potential coins of exchange. Its volume is doing pretty well and it is important that they have a support fund in the back. so it is easier to develop exchange in this bear market.

Nothing can beat what bnb does for year 2019, I don't know yet when will happen with hydax in the long run. That's why I choose bnb aside from other top promising coins in the market. Maybe I will do some studies on other coins, and that will be a very interesting one to tackle, once good market will initiate for cryptocurrency.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 million worth of ETH? on: December 16, 2019, 12:37:01 PM
At the peak of the market during the massive bull run of 2017, the Ethereum Foundation liquidated 70,000 ETH. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin convinced the foundation to sell at that time.

The price of ETH peaked at $1,400 during January of 2018, which would have netted approximately $100 million from the sale. Buterin also disclosed a personal sale of 30,000 ETH at the same time.

Full news here

Holy smokes! Now this is why their projects can keep up for a very long while.

To me, it was a wise decision for them to liquidate their ETH when it reaches its all-time high back then. Even the “extraordinary terrestrial” himself, Vitalik Buterin, sold his personal 30,000 ETH.

I just wish it was 2017 all over again, when we could have sold some ETH and other tokens during the big bull run. However, I honestly think that it will not repeat ever again because the market has matured already.

Good for them. Well done!

Pertaining to the big bullrun you said mate, would there be another bullrun which was more powerful compared from 2017? Well, I must think so now since we've been through twice a year facing such drowned market. Only miracle I think will make those possibilities become a reality so far.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stratis rapidly pumps after hitting above 4500 sats? on: December 16, 2019, 06:38:03 AM
This is always having the potential pumps in next few months, but we have to be easy for now and stay calm. We shouldn't feel so overwhelmed since we're still experiencing a lot of struggling market scenario. Let's wait while it was still on recovery mode.
