121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLKADOT is making a lot of noise right now. What do you think? on: January 18, 2021, 12:46:05 PM
It is unknown what will happen to POLKADOT after the end of the altseason may be a strong drop but I think just in case I will buy some DOT coins for long term holding.
Polkadot are currently growing quite positively, and if it is seen from a profit perspective, then I don't think we have to think about a sudden drop or excessive bear market, because in fact they are currently in a positive trend
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were me , Do you buy this coin ?? on: January 18, 2021, 12:43:29 PM
There is always a risk in every investment. the key is to do as much detailed research as possible. I see that they are self-funded projects right? if they have a product that is really interesting (meaning have a real use case) and is also able to get listed on the top tier exchange, maybe you can consider buying it
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going up? on: January 18, 2021, 12:39:36 PM
Hi im new here.  just want to hear your thoughts on ETH.. its been hanging around at 1200.  Thanks
1200 is already a good level compared to a few weeks ago. If you are looking to buy some coins and don't hold any yet, o would definitely recommend to buy them. If you are looking to sell yours I would hold them a bit longer. The long term trend is upwards for ETH in my opinion.
Yes, the trend is quite positive starting this morning, and I think the price will go up soon. Apart from that the recovery in bitcoin prices did not disappoint, even though it fell to the $36k price level in the average price. There are many other possibilities, but I think Ethereum has some positive possibilities
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: January 18, 2021, 12:35:24 PM
I'm not against Lockdown, but I don't think some of the regulations implemented by the government are right on target. In making a regulation, of course the government takes serious considerations, including in overcoming economic disparities from every aspect, because as the OP said, not all people have the same economic capacity. Also, in the school system for children, I really don't like it, children have to go to school, albeit with fairly strict preventive measures for their safety
125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 18, 2021, 12:29:16 PM
Once you expect great profit from the project, you will regret no matter where the price will go. If the price went down, you will regret not selling it earlier because if you did, you could have multiplied the quantity of your tokens.

When price goes up after you sell, its a lot devastating when you are already expecting big.
That's right, it's what it's. what you have got, it is your decision. don't regret it for too long. and events like this will definitely happen, as long as we are able to set our profit and goals in trading, I don't think that's a problem
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: January 17, 2021, 03:38:40 PM
No I don't normally. This crypto space is highly depends on marketing band social media marketing is a huge part of it. Many crypto projects pay high amount to the influencer to say something about the project. Some of them are good some of them are nothing but scams. So good company s also promoting their products. So when ever you are knowing something from your favorite influencer always cross check them before investing on that projects.
I agree with you. There are many influences out there these days and we don't really know what kind of hidden agenda they have. If it about a not well known alt coins he might be an investors who is trying to sell. I would recommend to check his recommendations in the past before believing him.
TBH, some influencers don't even know the project they're promoting. I'm just afraid that people will get caught in a scam because of the influencers they idolize promoting the project. Always do your research, these are the most basic things in investing, make sure that your money is safe and in the right hands
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: January 17, 2021, 03:34:52 PM
Introducing crypto through Meme as well as shared hobbies is great and inspiring. maybe not many think the same as me, but in my opinion degecoin is indeed better if it is used as an everyday payment system, at a more affordable price and at a good speed, those are some of the advantages of using Doge. Besides that, business owners can also use Doge as a rewards system, because its relatively affordable value makes it easier for business owners to develop their business
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto for government services on: January 17, 2021, 03:30:34 PM
For now it may not be "specifically" compatible enough for the government. if it's to pay employees like restaurants, or sports players, I guess that's fine. for now crypto still needs regulations that support and become the basis for making crypto a fairly complex government instrument
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 17, 2021, 01:07:47 PM
Bitcoin is dumping!! Is this going to a repeat of 2017? Remember what happened in March when covid hit? The second wave is here and btc has been pumping despite that. What do you guys think? $100k still happening this year?
I think 100k$ is very high value my prediction is not that much, in my part i will try to wait for the big dump and then buy. Because i see that the price is still high and that is really risky, so i choose to wait for a dump or a great opportunity to buy in low price and hold untill the last quarter of year 2021. I believe that bitcoin will rise this year maybe in the last quarter.
Maybe bitcoin is almost impossible to dump like in 2018, there are many things that can be considered such as institutions that hold large amounts of bitcoin and also many big brands that are starting to accept bitcoin. even so the market cycle will still occur, even though we don't know when it will happen
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 17, 2021, 01:02:58 PM
Buying dip is definitely the way to go for long term investment but I don't think buying bitcoin right now can be considered a bad strategy. You can see those investment firm buying bitcoin like buying ice cream and they won't let bitcoin price go down for sure considering how many money invested.
For now, it's hard for bitcoin to go down like it was in 2017 so I could consider there's no best time than the present, though ofcourse if we can find opportunity to buy dips why not?  Grin
It is true, as long as we can find opportunities in any market scale, it is okay to buy them. But if you see, a lot of big institutions buy bitcoin before the price is above the $30k range, they do have a big influence on the overall price movement of bitcoin, but I'm also sure they will choose the best time to buy bitcoin.

131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi tokens - do they have a real value? on: January 16, 2021, 02:04:49 PM
Decentralized financial model is a new trend of the world.  Regarding DeFi tokens, I think its problem is people's trust.
As you have said, Defi is just a system, whereas to determine the worth or not of an investment, it all depends on the product. so as long as the defi project has a clear product and real use case, then it's still good
132  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 15, 2021, 12:26:56 PM
In no way I would buy vaccine on those kind of markets because illegally distributed means it is either fake or not effective and life risky. Even on the official release of vaccine the potency were not of 100% and some vaccine were barely at 50% potency which made several people hesitate if they want to be injected by it including me.
What is quite confusing is, there are still people who buy the vaccine. I don't know whether they don't trust their local government regulating vaccinations, or they (sellers of the dark web) are smart enough to make a narrative, so that someone will buy the vaccine anyway, even though I'm sure there's no 100% chance of the vaccine can verify the origin
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 15, 2021, 12:22:54 PM
Again, it's not a matter of right or wrong to buy expensive bitcoins, but about your investment style. if you are a day trader then it is not a problem as long as you can maintain your daily profit, but if you are a long-term holder, then it will be a little less profitable, because the essence of long-term investing is to buy dips and sell at a certain level of profit.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: January 15, 2021, 12:18:10 PM
Basically ICO is very difficult to play the role because of the many scam ico projects. What must be addressed is the control over funds generated by the ICO and the project monitored, is it real or fake project?
This, this is because the ICO still has an immature structure. but it's a different story if a project that uses an ICO has proven to be legit (the team and product can be confirmed), then that won't be a problem. So actually ICOs still exist, it's just that investors now also understand how to choose projects, and if you don't have a strong enough foundation then some projects prefer IEOs.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I intend to make the most of my altcoins iñvestment in 2021 on: January 15, 2021, 12:13:45 PM
I will advice you to revise your investment choice, not disagreeing Ethereum can do 50X from here but that would make Ether cost $50k, if you want 50x return on your investment look at niche that is growing in the space like NFT and research the project there, if NFT space do DEFI run then you will have your 20X, 50X return without sweating.
This is still a little sketchy in terms of ethereum, apart from the already high price, I think the probability of going to be 50x is quite small. if you have a "go big or go home" mentality, it's better to choose a more affordable altcoins like Cardano (your choice is right), XRP or maybe Nem
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot exploding why? on: January 14, 2021, 07:21:08 PM
With ethereum still not solving their fees and another network issue, I'm sure other developers looking to make a good product are looking for better alternatives. And the good thing is, in the last few weeks there have been several projects with good products using the Polkadot protocol, of course this could be a sign that there is a shift from ethereum dominance to polkadot (although not on a large scale)
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 12, 2021, 11:22:54 AM
Shocked? yes, I was shocked. but don't panic. I just feel like this drop is too drastic. and after looking at chart analysis, I'm sure this is just another pullback. so no big deal. Altcoin season hasn't even started yet and people are already talking about their panic, let's stick with bitcoin as usual
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: January 11, 2021, 12:11:09 PM
investing in new altcoins / tokens just created is always a gamble, even if at the beginning their value can rise very high and they can have high volumes on exchanges nobody can predict their trend in the medium / long term, my advice is to invest only on more or less safe altcoins such as bitcoin or ethereum, if we really want to invest in a new coin we must be sure of our trading skills, that is to know how to be fast and safe
Depending on how you feel and approach it, whether you have the confidence to appreciate what's behind a coin/token or people just look at that new coins so there will be opportunities future price increases, that thinking is wrong and no one is affirming it.
Confidence is quite important bro, but in certain portions. the rest is analysis and calculation. If the project you invested in wasn't great from the start, you already know you've been fucked up in investing. so analysis and research is also very important, not just confidence
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH break it's ATH? on: January 11, 2021, 12:04:48 PM
Eth has crossed 1000$ last night, could we expext that we will see a new ATH within 3-4weeks??

I'm 100% sure that it can and it will break its old all-time high record, things are flourishing now in Cryptocurrency only 22% to go before they break their old records and Eth 2.0 is coming it can even surpass the $2000 mark, with so many projects using and will be using Ethereum, it's the second coin in the market that will break its old record.
there is currently a dip in bitcoin and of course ethereum is also affected. I hope there are some developments that can lift the overall crypto price, I mean not only from the bullish trend of bitcoin. btw, still possible for new ATH
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crpto investment in 2021 on: January 11, 2021, 12:02:09 PM
Anyone have the idea for the best Crypto to invest in early 2021 for gaining high profit value
Why would you rely on someone else's suggestion? Rather you can make better decisions on your own.  You can select coins of your choice from CoinMarkerCap and CoinGecko's list of best coins.  Then you check the market condition of that coin for a while.  Then you decide if it will be okay to buy those coins?
Yea, maybe he's still inexperienced. atleast he can seek advice from people who really understand crypto trading or investing instead of just seeking advice from random people. but true, the easiest method maybe he can see the data given by cmc or coingecko, you can start from top 100 or to 50
