121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received coins or tokens that you forgot that you promoted on: April 02, 2020, 09:38:35 PM
I have also received some tokens which I forgot I have promoted and now it's off no use since the project is no more. The token was called GRAY and I think this is during the ICO run year of 2017 and 2018 when we were promoting several projects every month or two. These days I am very circumspect with projects that I follow and promote and I do this by making a good background search first
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CMC Misleading new projects on: April 01, 2020, 04:29:39 PM
Coinmarketcap has been leading this industry for quite sometime now with their fake values. I remember sometime back in 2018 when they had a bug which made most coins increase over 200% without any actual trading volume.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: April 01, 2020, 04:04:26 PM
That's so right, this virus has opened then eyes of many leaders about the flaws of using Fiat currency. Making transactions digital is the way to go and I think the US and China might be the first two countries to go digital with their own cryptocurrency. Unfortunately, none has disclosed his intentions of using Bitcoin as their payment mode.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOT (HOLO) good to invest ?? on: March 30, 2020, 12:36:24 PM
Yes, HOT is a good coin to invest in. The team has strategically put in place mechanisms to drive the demand and liquidity of their coin. Also, it has been listed on many popular exchanges and this gives it a good exposure in this industry hence having huge market cap as compared to other altcoins on coinmarket cap.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: March 30, 2020, 12:22:30 PM
Having Know Your Customer system as a security check on any platform is not a bad idea at all. However the company or organization should ensure that the data provided to them are securely kept from the breach of hackers. Conducting a KYC is for the security of both the company/platform and the users who interact on it.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Coin Head Developer Just Exit Scammed on: March 30, 2020, 12:05:27 PM
Grin it is never a shock to some pioneers in this industry about the end of this project. I knew it would definitely end up as a scam project but it pains to see that greed has blinded so many crypto investors that they fail to see some of these blatant signs. This should send a lesson to noobs who got scammed in this project and hopefully, they would end up falling for such in the future.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 29, 2020, 11:40:47 PM
After all this consolidation in the crypto market I think Bitcoin is likely going to see another breakout up to the regions of $7K soon. This is the right time to buy at this dip and wait for it to rise to make profits. If you all have really studied the trend of the market you would realize that each year the new low and I doubt the price of bitcoin will ever touch the level of $3K again. Especially with this upcoming global Economic recession upon is it's likely to see the investment into assets rise.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A question about AML KYC on: March 29, 2020, 11:22:31 PM
Adam might surely has his own reasons for avoiding the use of KYC which is to ensure the absolute privacy of its customers. Know Your Customer security checks are good and it helps secure against any form of illegal withdrawals. Also, in cases where there is a breach of the exchanges wallet stolen funds can be traced and get to know the accounts that made the withdrawal. Frankly speaking, I don't like trading on exchanges that don't ensure that members perform KYC.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 29, 2020, 11:10:56 PM
Holding coins especially altcoins for a very long time is not the best of ideas because most of them end up as useless projects without any real value on the market. Unless you have done a good research about the project I would not advise you to hold any coin from an IEO or ICO. Many crypto investors have lost huge amount of money during 2017 and 2018.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance charity launches with $1million donation. on: March 28, 2020, 11:37:27 PM
Yeah, I got to know of this kind gesure which CZ displayed to all those who have been hit by this pandemic disease. This money would surely help mitigate and bring some relieve to all those have been hit in these times. I just hope that CEOs of other successful projects should also do likewise and make some donations in support of this pandemic.  In the long run it would expose the crypto industry to the outside world.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Increased Bitcoin Adoption on: March 28, 2020, 11:25:04 PM
I don't think the spread of this virus have had any positive influence of Bitcoin in terms of its price but what I can say is that it has opened the eyes of various governments about the use of a digital form of payment but not necessary the use of bitcoin. trust me they know about bitcoin but they have made their minds not to use it because of how decentralized it is and also makes them feel powerless.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 28, 2020, 11:15:22 PM
One of the primary ways of securing your cryptocurrencies is to buy a hardware wallet such as Trezor or the Ledger Nano S and make sure you have backed up its private key at a very secure place. Also, make sure that you keep this wallet very safe and away from any thing that can pose a threat of damage to it. Whiles surfing the internet beware of suspicious links and for safer reasons you can even install Ad blockers to prevent any of these suspicious ads from popping up.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 27, 2020, 06:54:13 PM
I think if we are actually looking at a cryptocurrency that is used for illegal activities then i think privacy coins are the ones that used mostly on the darkweb. Coins like DASH and Monero are used mostly.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto pair do you swap most often? on: March 27, 2020, 06:41:09 PM
Basically Ethereum for BTC because the rate persale of BTC is higher than that of Ethereum. At the end of every month my company pays me in Ethereum then I exchange it to Bitcoin. At some times i also buy some XLM for some transactions. I use Infinito wallet for all these transactions.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: March 27, 2020, 06:37:49 PM
Yes you can earn some amount of money from cryptocurrencies by staking or either running a masternode with any good project with a use case that  causes a constant demand for the coin. That should beable to yield you some income.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: March 26, 2020, 09:56:58 PM
It's really difficult predicting the trend of the crypto market you know. You can't Always be right but one thing that I have learnt these days is to be patience when trading. That's one of the important thing you need to have when engaged in daily trading because you only lose when you sell your holdings.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: March 26, 2020, 09:50:55 PM
It's really sad bounties are not worth spending time on these days. I remember those days back in 2017 when you could make $3K out of one single bounty. Currently, I would not advised anybody to out his heart much in bounty because you are likely not going to get paid or the project will turn out to be scam.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: March 25, 2020, 10:03:35 PM
Burning of tokens is one of the token mechanics that is used to ensure that there is a shortage of tokens in the ecosystem hence increasing demand for the little available. This goes a long way to increase the liquidity of the token hence giving long term holders profits.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 25, 2020, 06:25:01 PM
That's a candid explanation about the crush of this market @OP but I still think in a way the fear that this virus spread around the world cause this crash. For instance, if governments had not announced lockdown in various countries people would not have sold their bitcoins out of panic.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATOKEN, Probit, What else? on: March 25, 2020, 05:53:16 PM
I think you are jumping into conclusions a bit @OP, Latoken is surely not one of the best exchanges out there because of the history of scam projects that they have run on their platform but I think Probit does not fall into such category at the moment. I know that exchange since its inception and I can say beyond doubt is very good, has a great UI/UX to go along with. It's young at the moment but I think it's going to do a great job in the future.
