Have you received coins or tokens that you forgot that you promoted

As a bounty hunter things like this happens, some times you forget all about the project because it has taken so much time,you even don't remember when you did such bounty promotion, the annoying part of it is that,after receiving,you think it is already trading,but to your greatest surprise the are yet to start trading. That too bad

I always keep track of the projects I promote, when they begin and end, how long they will be distributed.  So if I receive a token or coin that is not in my notes, it could be: 1) someone sent it wrong, 2) random airdrop, for example KICK, PYRO.  The thing I look forward to the most is, when there are coins or tokens that are now worthless, some time later the pump, beyond expectations.

I have also received some tokens which I forgot I have promoted and now it's off no use since the project is no more. The token was called GRAY and I think this is during the ICO run year of 2017 and 2018 when we were promoting several projects every month or two. These days I am very circumspect with projects that I follow and promote and I do this by making a good background search first

Good to see that you were lucky enough to receive the reward tokens but then again i hope these tokens will have some value on the market, last couple of years have proven to be worst for bounty campaigns and majority of campaigns have not paid even the reward tokens, i hope the situation will improve this year and bounties will be back woth full power once again.

Yes I have, It happens from time to time, some either lock the token or delay the distribution to the extent one will forget about it and I must confess it is not really a nice idea. Imagine receiving when the token is already worthless, only very few projects which delays payment for a long time ended up resulting to something good, the rest are nothing to write home about. The team of most projects are always quick to lock bounty tokens but are not quick to ensure they keep working to improve their platform.

Many times happened to me that project even distributed tokens, but they quickly swapped it into new mainnet coins and bounty hunters that didn´t check the telegram chat regularly lost an option to get real coins.

Just checked all my wallets which I do from time to time, and found out I received 67,000 XPl exclusive platform token I did not remember promoting such a project but after doing a research I found that I did participate in their bounty campaign but that was january 2019 that's over a year, how about have you received coins that you forgot that you promoted in the past.

When it comes to bounties, since I'm not a frequent promoter, I don't think I have recieve tokens of project I did promote after a long period of time but for airdrops, I still recieve tokens I promoted over 3years back and 99% of the time the tokens recieved are usually worthless. For those that have some value they're either peanut or can't be exchange as there price are just been manipulated by few traders hoping to decieve gullible traders to pick interest in the project so they can dump their bags on them.

I won't advice anyone to put much hope on this project that delay the distribution of the bounty allocation to promoters, majority of the time you're a likely to waste your time waiting for them to deliver as promised on their bounty announcement thread.

To be honest, I have never participated in a bounty, but I have heard the huge number of horror stories here on the forum.

That said, I've received plenty of random airdrops to my Ethereum address. I come on here and find that they're either depositing tokens to everyone who holds a certain amount of Ethereum, or they're just picking addresses based on recent activity.

I don't pay them any attention unless they have value, and they rarely do.

This is quite impossible because everyone year I'm joining only 7-8 or few more, I don't believe that any members will forget. You can join social and signature at a time than maybe has chances to forget about joining. Most of the campaign did it in year 2018 because slow funds rise process.

yes I received many tokens from projects that I supported in the past but they only become junk in my wallet and are not valuable at all because most of the projects disappear or die

I also often experience the same thing as many projects that I have participated in. It turns out that after two years the tokens have
entered my wallet. Until I forgot the tokens I got from which projects, because I do bounties in a year can be more than 20 projects.
So it's not strange that there are some tokens that I just received after a few years I promoted them. Sometimes the tokens that
I received were lucky if the price was already expensive, but not a few of the tokens that we received were worthless at all.

I have been receiving payment from past campaigns I can't even remember anymore. Unfortunately these tokens are worthless this raise the concern the purposes of new projects not following road maps after collecting fund from the public.

Read many comments like this. Even though you receive your rewards, they are worthless and they are not enough to cover transaction fee. It's the same situation for most bounty hunters.

After checking my saved ETH addresses which have created 3 years ago by me, many interesting ERC-20 tokens appeared on the etherscan. The interesting part is the lack of the exchange in order to sell the tokens and buy the other altcoins. This is the main concern of me, if the token is not listed on any exchange, it is useless to hold for the long time.

I have had this kind of experience more than three times. At time I will just check my imtoken and see notification of coin/token I didn't even remember at all.  One of such examples is GUAR token which the developer eventually ran away.  However, most of these unknown tokens or coins came through airdrop.  I just receive some airdrop that I cannot even remember when I participated.

as I recall, the last time I joined the EZ365 project and until now I have not received a token. it's also sad that the EZ365 project doesn't have any updates either on their telegram channels or on social media and that their website is not accessible. it seems that I have no great hopes in the projects that I participated in before.

OP we're opposite, I can still remember where I got my tokens but I choose to forget them lol. For me they are all sh*tcoins that's why I choose to forget them for good. But ahh! I remember something . As far as I remember, I think I left few Clams on my Coinomi account but I'm still wondering where did I get it . Nah! They are useless anyway so I don't mind.

Of the number of bounty campaign we have participated in the past and some of them delay the distribution, it's possible that we will receive a token that from a project that we already have forgotten, some of us just stop looking at our portfolio and update on the bounty campaign we have participated in the past, so its possible, but the thing is though we have the token, we still can't sell it at a good price.

usually the project team randomly distributes tokens for promotion of their project such as kicktoken but usually random tokens cannot be sold

Yes I do received coins or tokens from my past engagements in bounties and airdrops which I have already forgotten that I get to engage with and to think that I can already never be getting any from those engagements but luckily it was a surprise to see that after a couple of months not checking my account, for I just randomly join into any available bounties and airdrop which is for me is just a trial and error, I was shocked to see that I got mysterious coins in my wallet to think that I cannot already remember when and how did I get those. It was just good that even you did not expect or having a hard time to remember your engagement into such projects, still you have been able to receive coins which is a proof that even it takes time, such projects have been able to provide and manage to give you the rewards you deserve. It is just that you do not know if those do have value or not. It was just surprising to see unfamiliar tokens in your wallet that came from those bounties and airdrops you have already forgotten to got engaged with.
