121  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Vanity Mining - HD 5870 Best card? on: August 04, 2013, 04:13:44 PM
When i started to get into this mining there was the 5xx0 and 6xx0 cards. Most of the people who compared them said the 5870 cards are most effective (Mh/watt) than the other models. I went with their recommendation...
Now i am finishing with the gpus. If you need some cards or mb let me know Smiley

WTF? Can someone explain to me what is happening?
I ordered the free yubikey from mtgox, and now find myself having to enter the yubikey number when wanting to initiate a withdrawal, while i don't even have it yet! (it's still en route from Japan). They add the yubikey automatically to everybody's account who orders it? Fucking bullshit...now i gotta wait like 3 weeks till i get in the mail?

Disable the requirement in Security Centre.

when i ordered i had the same thing. Once you received the mail you register it with your account (just use during the login) after that every time when you want to login or withdraw you have to use your key.

Until then just hit the enter.

I can feel a Winkledump coming. Cheesy

BTW, how many coins do they have?
Over 100k, though in their SEC filing they propose to sell 200k BTC.

Very telling that no bounce is achieved even at current levels. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but bear with me: This thing needs to capitulate on incredible volume and a low <50 before we bottom out for good.

reading all the topics here unfortunately I believe in this statement. 50 is what everyone is waiting for. It is not a magical break point what most of the financial analytic guys/galls say but a number what everyone is hoping the absolute minimum.

If we have to reach a limit where most of the people jut "give away" their stash because they lost their faith that must to be way below that limit. At the moment there is about 9k BTC @55, the biggest wall what i can see around this "believed" brake point. And of course a lot of order around 33.

Once again I am not a financial person. I don't want to see the price go down that deep but this is not our decision. I believe in the future and I hope one day when we go to the shop / pub / petrol station we can pay with BTC.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: ASICs are the reason the price is dropping, and it will not stop. on: July 07, 2013, 09:50:46 AM
Basically what OP is pointing towards despite his strange numbers, is over saturation... More coins and not as much demand equals low value.

It is this simple, and there is no need to make overly complex assumptions. Roughly 3,600 new coins are created every day. There must be demand for 3,600 new coins every day for price to stay steady. We just fell off a period of massive amounts of panic buying. Most panic buyers have sold out at this point. However, for price to rise again, we're going to have to wait for more infrastructure and useful functions to come out of bitcoin. And they are coming. Patience is a virtue.

Agreed, and thanks for the link!

+1

& approx 3600 BTC / day is one of the fundamental. It was the case when there was only CPU mining or GPU mining and it will be the case when there will be just ASIC miners. I understand ppl are upset because they don't have the same income what they had earlier. It is an evolution, be part of it or... Just use your hard earned coins (trade, purchase, hold-on, etc.) and see where the price will go...

Don't forget you joined to this club because you believe in it (not the price but the idea). If you lost your faith you can leave at any time.

125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 06, 2013, 09:14:19 PM
I've been buying and selling the whole way down.  My feeling is we will see the 50's but that may very will be the bottom of this thing.  If we break though the amount of resistance in the 50's and hit the 40's, abandon all hope...Bitcoin is dead.

Unless I choose to save it with massive quantities of USD.

What is the brake point where you want to "save" this economy?
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get prepared to buy BACK!! on: July 06, 2013, 08:41:45 PM
I'll let the bot decide.
I sold at 72 so now it has the dry powder to fire at the first inversion in moving averages.
My preference would be to buy going all in <10$

btc below $10 would cause too much damage to this world. I would love to put my hands on BTC at that price but not sure if that is good for long term... I still think 50 would be realistic and actually I have order around that range (not too much don't build any speculation on that).
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Too many new users posting FUD (part XVII) on: July 06, 2013, 05:56:07 PM
I've not seen any talk of bitcoin dying, well, except for that gldcoin guy. People are just pointing out that the price is trending down hard, and there's no ignoring that. I'm a long term bull, but I'm gonna shore up on some cheap coins when the price goes down some more.

I guess everyone has a magic number....
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 06, 2013, 04:08:55 PM
I can't believe a small sell wall at 70.00 is holding this upward trend at bay  Huh

That's because it's not an uptrend

why ppl would buy @70 when most of the ppl predict 50's? that's a huge difference and it seems the trend is showing to this direction...
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 06, 2013, 04:01:20 PM
Inverse Jarojaw, you need to step out the way so the rest of us can reap massive profits re-buying our coins at $17.

+1
I hope you have the plan and we can join our forces at $17
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 06, 2013, 03:43:55 PM
Don't worry, i won't let it fall too far. Got a few USD tsunami-bombs planned. Bet I can get this to $80 today.

You are our savior!  Grin

I should note, that I may wait until we are in the 50s. I expect a big war there. Might be able to rocket higher if I wait. Perhaps it would be referred to in later times as Walsoraj's shoryuken green candle.

so, you want to use the body mass what that limit will generate by itself?

But how we will know what is your part in that rocket start? I am just not sure if you will claim all credit for that move to yourself or you will give some credit to other analyzers who already predicted it.

So what is your influence in that start? Could you give some estimate?
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am fucking panicking on: July 06, 2013, 02:07:33 PM
does anyone else think this might be tied to Bitinstant being down?

I'm telling you guys, silent majority of drug buyers keep bitcoin going

but nobody wants to believe me

Possible adaptation of 0coin by an alt coin may prove you sooner than we think...

USD, Euro or even gold are also used in the black market. Do you want bann those too?

Sorry for my ignorance...

new prediction: 180$ in 12-20 business days  Cool

Not this shit again...

ALARM ALARM! We are going to 0!

P.s. I bought back in at 70. We are overdue a sucker rally/dead cat bounce.

I also bought a little and I was hoping for at least 72 - 75...
And now I do not know if I should cancel all orders over 45 ...  Sad
don't worry i know someone who know someone who's friend has a good connection... This very reliable source told me, they will hit the 50's tonight...

(just bullshiting... )
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holders Unite! on: July 06, 2013, 01:46:51 AM
I couldn't resist... I bought 4 more today at ~$73.00

and now it is 67.88

Your point being that it is lower?

I sure as shit don't have a crystal ball and neither do you, what we are looking at is a buying opportunity.

If we see 50, 40, 30, 20 or 80 I will pick some up at those levels as well.

Don't own much stock or trade any forex do you?

some here and some there... (real stock and this virtual stock..) Usually i am holder but once a month read into the subjects and make my decisions. No crystal ball or other cheating... Smiley

But don't worry, I am sure long term that was a great purchase...

this painting from van gogh's post earmuff era is a masterpiece. the triangles symbolise flaccid penises and the arrow symbolises a successful erection. way better than starry night

hey you... release the pressure and visit your psychologist.... She will show you other pictures... let we know what you saw in those...

Jarobutt is not a true believer and never was. The past few days, he revealed himself. In the end, I think it is best for the community to see his true colors.

inside everyone is red... Smiley

As my logical arguments must indicate, my blood is as a Vulcan's. Therefore, you are wrong.

Of course, I speak metaphorically to make valid points. But, you are wrong nonetheless.

on my screen everything is read and we are at 67.73 at the moment... When you spring start?
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Imminent fall ? on: July 06, 2013, 01:16:21 AM
BTC go home....you're drunk.

Perfect timing to take advantage of BTC, if you know what i mean. WINK WINK.

blah blah

Anyone can sit here and say wait, watch, it's coming, wait for it, and then a real whale unleashes and you say "see I told you I was going to do that" Hey guess what me too, along with 90% of the other forum users. Wait for it.

My finger is on the buy btc button, hold onto your pants. I'm moving some funds b/c i might make larger order. I don't spam 0.001-ish orders. I execute MASSSIVE market orders, when/if i trade.

Blah blah blah.

So when/if you do and you "claim" it was you how will you prove it? I have an idea, just before you execute the buy order why don't you take a screen shot of the order being placed. Or better yet make a small video of your computer screen while your executing these massive buys. If you do this I will personally kiss your ass and apologize for being rude. Until then, please stfu

Gentlemen, Please!
