We know we've been a bit slow to respond and answer questions in the ANN today. We're a 3 person team and we work 12-14 hours a day on this project. If we were to choose a singular point we want to spread through the community it is that we're not Copy Pasta developers, majority of what we do is hand coded by us. Creating something NEW instead of mixing the same bag of features repeatedly is what we aim to do, and will succeed at. We're a long term project. We have been watching the ann and observing. We noticed a lot of people asking about the lengthy synchronization of the wallet. This is because of the increased security of this coin.

We have however tested our multi threaded sync and it works beautifully as designed from scratch. This will be a necessity all coins, and frankly it would make a large impact on bitcoins ease of use if utilized there. We're looking forward to releasing this and a few other tweaks shortly.

Our ANN rework is coming along and in the final stages, we will have a detailed paper on the current technology that we have in the coin, and a few things we are working on. Also, for those interested, we are writing a short paper on ECDSA technology, exploits and weaknesses and why other technology is necessary.

The network however is exceedingly strong, the wallet has over an absolutely incredible amount of people opening it, so many so that our current listing of nodes is struggling to keep up. We are adding more nodes now to handle the demand.

We're very excited to work on this project, the current price action does not phase us because we as developers know that the power to impact price rests firmly within our hands, and we plan to unleash that power.

I have a background in software and I've spent an obscene amounts of time researching alts over the past year or so.  At this point I have a very good understanding of the scene, the software, and its application/implementation.  XCP has been my #1 investment pick for a long time, but there are others.  Please PM me if you'd like to discuss favorite picks (if we discuss them here we'll look like a bunch of pumpers).

There are conversations going on about this in the slack and the skype chat. It appears it has to do with the massive amount of BTC transactions today and the recent BTC update. Possible solution is raising the miner fees, i am just getting back into the office so i am still collecting the information from the day and will share it here

1.1) Create an account via https://testnet.counterwallet.io
1.2) Double-click the testnetTilepay.bat/.sh that will automatically run the .jar file and it opens the default browser. We have not tested it on any Internet Explorer browser.
1.3) Request testnet from http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/and send to https://testnet.counterwallet.io address and TilePay BTC address.
1.4) Burn BTC for XCP and then "Create Asset (Token)
1.5) Send tokens to new Tilepay local wallet

The SPV implementation is for bitcoin at the moment. The "metacoin" spv implementation that could be used for XCP/MSC/XTC (metacoins) is being worked on by MIT. It is called VerSum.

I'm curious about this too. It's nice that the testers get info about what's going on, but what about the rest of the investors? This 'update next week' took quite a bit longer than a week, no update nothing.

I've been into Supernet Slack quite often lately, it's a nice way to interact with the community. I don't know if there's a need for that for Tilecoin, but i created tilecoin.slack.com, feel free to join

roadmap should be next 2/3 days, its took a bit of time to iron out things as there are a few parties to please and decide on the best path for cerium.

meanwhile if you havent already could i ask you to mail some exchanges where you think cerium could be added, the volume the coin gets on yobit and cex doesnt do it justice.
