121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese government banned all of ICOs on: April 10, 2018, 03:37:17 AM
https://www.sosobtc.com/article/23790.html

Chinese government recognized all of ICOs are illegal, all of related platforms must stop offering services for ICO projects,it seems that is just a start, the regulation of ctyptocurrency is on the way.
Some ICOs refund to their investors already, but this event has an effect on cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, the prices droped seriously.
How do you think of that? Good or bad?

I view this as bad for crypto but good for clueless investors.  Its bad for crypto because it will decrease the influx of money coming into the crypto market which will slow down the increase in price rises.  It's good for clueless investors because now they wont be getting scammed by sham ICO's that try to prey on the uneducated by luring them with catchphrases like block chain and disruptive technology.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Asian countries have the greatest influence on bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 03:32:37 AM

Countries with large amounts of virtual currency transactions such as China, Japan, Korean and India with the increasing trend of many brands continuing to expand their payment operations in Bitcoin, this currency will rise to a peak of $ 20,000 in 2017.
However, recent bad news from Asian countries Bitcoin price is going down very fast. Yesterday bitcoin price continues to fall deep down to 8,200$ and possibly more.
In particular, China and India have a great influence on the BTC currency because the number of bitcoin traders is huge

I think China and South Korea have the greatest influence over bitcoin and crypto in general.  China generates massive mining power which is one source of their influence but they also influence through FUD which was very apparent after the fake announcement that china was banning bitcoin came out which caused the massive drop in prices.  South Korea's influence stems in the amount of people who trade bitcoin in SK which was apparent during the bull runs when ether hit $1700 on their exchanges while it was only $1k in the U.S
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: April 10, 2018, 03:25:54 AM
It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).

Thank you for posting this because the blind investments that ive seen people make is really astonishing.  people are just throwing their money behind anything with a catchy phrase or a cool title that incorporates technology they have no understanding of.  This is honestly what a bubble looks like and its definitely a big factor behind the crash that were experiencing right now.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 69 ETH, What to do? on: April 10, 2018, 03:22:56 AM
I have 56 ETH, How much is my Profit in DEC 2018? I Expect 200K $, Give me your Best Guess.

UPDATE: NOW I HAVE 69 ETH.

Hold on my friend, you have a lot of ethereum that could make you a lot of money if you hold on for a few more months or years.  If you dont currently need the money then i wouldnt suggest you sell because crypto is at very low point right now and it shouldnt be long until we get out of this bear market.  Also make sure you keep your funds secure and dont tell anyone about your coins because they might start asking you for money.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can address be hidden? on: April 10, 2018, 03:20:21 AM
Hello.
Bitcoin and crypto currencies are well known for its security.
I also agree on it as no third party is required and also because it is based on P2P transaction.
But, what if some one knows our wallet address because I once sent him some bitcoins.
And after some time, he was willing to hurt me if I send some btc to one of my friend [his enemy]?
It happened with me.
He knows my address and will hurt me if I send any coins from my wallet to any other wallet.
He started checking my recent transactions and will ask me to whom I send bitcoin and why?
Is there any way we can hide our wallet?
But, it will create problem in transactions, right?

Hiding your address would go against the very nature of bitcoin which is why its not a feature.  The point of blockchain technology is for complete transparency and verification so in order for people to trust the system they need to see the transactions.  The common misconception about bitcoin is that is it anonymous (which it is not) but transaction can made to me anonymous through the use of coin mixers and vpns.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HACKED PLS HELP on: April 10, 2018, 03:18:09 AM
Can someone help me please.

i got stole.

1G6UhRndz1VCUdhqQRkJG9t4yVenzhTEkz Wallet Address, is their anything i can do ?

We're gonna need a bit more info on how you were hacked or where you think the source of the hack originated.  But if the coins already left your wallet then theres not much that you can do.  IF you figure out who stole your bitcoins then you can attempt to contact them and threaten them with law enforcement or go directly to law enforcement with what you have.  The problem with this is that the hacker could be from another country which would render local law enforcement useless.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price has never been so stable like the last 4 Hours on: April 10, 2018, 03:05:04 AM
I guess down to very low volume at the moment but the price is very stable around 6750. Never seen this recently.

Calm before the storm or just another sign that people have moved on?

stability for four hours is kind of meaningless in the crypto world in my opinion.  Stability needs to be measured over the course of weeks or months and even in the case of crypto atleast over the course of several days or weeks.  I wouldnt take the four hour stability as a sign of anything, i would just wait and see what happens over the course of the next few weeks and then i would trade on that information.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: felling depressed for holding bitcoin :/ on: April 10, 2018, 03:02:35 AM
i have 0.5 btc on my hand
but the problem is btc is falling day by day
its hits me in my heart like a spike
cs i buy this btc on 12000$
now im in loss of 5000$
it has fall onto 7000$
what shoud i do?
should i keep it???

The number one rule of investing is that you should never invest money that your dependent on so if thats the case then it might explain why your feeling down about this situation.  furthermore, as another user mentioned you only lose money when you sell so if you keep holding then technically your not at a loss yet.  If i were you i would just hold and wait for bitcoin to recover because after a long bear trend like this it has to moon again.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Shorting bitcoin on: April 10, 2018, 02:38:00 AM
Hi

Whats the simplest way to short bitcoin, I found margin too difficult.

Can anyone help?

Margins arent really that hard i could explain it in laymens turns.  Margin trading is where the exchange will lend you a certain amount of money in relation to how much money you have.  With that money you can open a short or long position on a crypto.  A short position is where you bet on a certain crypto to go down.  The exchange will lend you the specified amount of crypto and you will sell it at a certain price and then once you close your position youll buy back at that price (preferably a lower price than what you bought at) and then youll return the coins that you borrowed to the exchange. Long positions work the same way just vice versa.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do people think that they can time the market? on: April 10, 2018, 01:53:16 AM
No one is able to do this (timing the market) in traditional markets but everyone does try to do it both in traditional markets and in crypto. Why do people think that they're able to do this?

Is it because they think they can do it while no one else can? Let me know folks.

Theres several possible reasons to why people believe they can beat the market. The first reason is that someone like a youtuber or guru told them there is a way to beat the market.  The second reason is that they've never traded before and believe if they do research and watch the charts they can beat the market every time.  Sadly these common mindsets lead people to believe in this falseness which leads them to end up losing a lot of money.
131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 09, 2018, 06:45:05 PM
Now bitcoin and eth price is increasing. Is it right time to sell my eth as the price is a bit pump or I just hold it for further increase. Please give help me by giving your opinions.

it seems like right now the ether to bitcoin ratio is rising quite a bit so you could cash out into bitcoin right now and have a good amount of bitcoin in your stash.  If i had ether right now thats what i would do because from what i've noticed the ratios tend to go up and down so you could easily cash in the changes and increase your crypto stack by 30-30% over the course of a several months or so (contingent on us staying in this bear market).
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss in trading on: April 09, 2018, 04:23:10 PM
I am a newbie, I just want to ask how exactly are you losing your money in trading? Can anybody explain how you lose your money in trading? Correct me if I'm wrong I just think that when you buy high but you sell it in low price I think you lose, right? What if you you buy it at a higher price then the price falls on the next days or week will you loss something? What if you'll just hold for it and wait for the price to bounce back? Thanks for your opinions! ☺️

A lot of newbie traders lose money in the beginning and even experienced traders lose money too.  The only way you do lose money is if you buy at a higher price and actually sell at a lower price.  If you hold you technically have not lost money and you can just wait for the price to rebound again.  People who daily trade will lose money when the prices do not swing their way and theyr left in a position that they were intending to be in.  So this forces them to either buy at a higher price or sell at a lower price all within the span of one day.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: April 09, 2018, 04:20:25 PM
bitcoin price now is under 7000 it will go under 5000 it is real or FUD..who is manipulate this market...

I dont think we'll see under 5000 this month due the fact that we've already hit and were staying steady in the 7k-8k range as of now.  I think there is too much resistance between our current price and sub 5k for it to be a possibility so, in my opinion, we are reaching the end of the bear market and by june i think we should start experiencing another bull run that could hopefully put us at 20k+ by the end of the summer.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is forbidden for Muslims on: April 09, 2018, 03:09:09 AM
Under current regulations or what they call 'fatwa', even though bitcoin is considered the currency of the future and part of technological development, bitcoin cannot be separated from one of the elements that can make it forbidden to use. The element is uncertainty. Bitcoin is considered to have this element because the price is so volatile that people like gambling when buying and selling bitcoins, and gambling was forbidden for muslims. how do you think about this?

Never heard of this and no muslim i know has ever heard of this.  It sounds like something someone said in order to get attention because if uncertainty was forbidden then everything in the world would be forbidden.  If this logic was applied then trading stocks is forbidden so is any sort of investing, so is moving to another part of the country all because of uncertainty.  What people tend to forget is that investing money is not forbidden in Islam its just the act of gambling where you have no clue about what the outcome could be.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: April 09, 2018, 02:25:33 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

People are always scared of change form the status quo and the fear always stems form the older generation.  This fear is also propagated by the same people/institutions that bitcoin is aiming to disrupt such as the banks.  So when uneducated people begin hearing these rumors about bitcoin such as it being a ponzi scheme or a scam, they start to stray away from it because they dont know any better.  If more people took the time to see what crypto is all about then there wouldnt be this fear and hatred for it.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: April 09, 2018, 02:22:50 AM
Did you guys teach your family members on how to access and use your Bitcoin in case you will die?
Do you want to take your Bitcoin with you when you're gone?

Let me hear it from your own opinions...

Like any other asset i own i'd like it to go to my family but with the way bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies work i dont know if that will be possible for everyone.  I have backups of my private keys just in case my computer goes to shit so thats one way they can be recovered.  But for many other people i feel like if they die then their bitcoin/crypto will be gone forever since they never set up a way for their family to access them.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin pose a threat to banks? on: April 09, 2018, 01:48:51 AM
Just as the digital era, the photographic industry witnessed the bankruptcy of Kodak, the rise of online music, the disc has also been quickly eliminated, after the advent of bitcoin, the financial industry may also need to carry out major rectification. Will the bank disappear?

I dont think bitcoin itself poses a threat to the banks because people will always look towards centralized currencies and well known financial institutions because they believe there is protections in them.  What i do think poses a threat to the banks is blockchain technology.  Blockchain can decentralize any financial service which guarantees trustworthyness and complete decentralization's.  It will be a while until this gets adopted among the masses but i do believe it will happen in the future.
138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: April 09, 2018, 01:46:12 AM
Having seen the massive rise of cryptocurrency prices in the previous year, I have seen that if one gets a coin at the right time and holds it before the prices pumps up, there would be huge gains. But then, the frequent bearish attitudes of the markets also affords one some gains.
Among these two strategies, which is better and which d you recommend?

Personally i see holding as the safer strategy because as long as your never sell you dont incur any losses, so all you have to do is just wait out the bear market.  The problem with this strategy is that if the bear market lasts too long, youll have a lot of funds tied up in a non appreciating or even depreciating asset when it could be making money elsewhere.  Plus trading allows you to take advantage of certain opportunities such as drastic price drops where you can buy it at or high points where you can sell and buy lower.
139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: April 09, 2018, 01:44:01 AM
Previous few month we see all altcoin price is decrease. So at this time how I recover my loss.I decided one think,I want to sell my all altcoin now.And try to start trade and recovery again. It's possible? Can I do this.Tell me your opinion, can do or not?

You could definitely start trading to recover some losses.  You could trade the altcoins to bitcoin ratio or you could go straight from crypto to fiat/usdt.  I'd recommend you trade cautiously though because many times people panic when prices dont go their way and they end up selling or buying at a higher price which leaves them with less than what they started with.  If i were you i would only use a portion of your money to trade and leave the rest in longer term investments.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading was fun! on: April 09, 2018, 01:41:51 AM
Hello guys!

I thought this was never a fun experience when it comes to day trading. Despite the risk, I still find it a lot of fun. First, I try to be a "whale" to manipulate others to dump price by selling all of it. I was selling FAITH to BTC at 45 satoshi and successfully sold half of it.

I bought 277 and 754 FAITH at 45 and 47 satoshi, respectively, hoping that I could have an extra. Then, I decided to sell them all at 50 satoshi. As a result, I have successfully sold more than half of it at that price and I have a few more left before its sold out.

I'm doing this for fun, you know. At the same time, I got profits. However, there's no such thing as perfect day trading strategy. Perhaps, I'm just lucky.

The basics of buy low sell high at a right time. Win or lose, it was fun!

Making money while trading is definitely fun because your beating the market by increasing your stack rather than just holding and waiting for the price to rise.  However, dont get too caught up in trading because prices could swing in a direction that you dont like one day and youd either be left at a loss or with a bunch of altcoins that you had no intention of holding.  But as long as your making money than your losing you should be fine.
