Can you please tell me if you handle the coinographic ebay account? I purchased one of your litecoins and have sent two messages with questions since, neither have been answered. First was sent Tuesday 7th and another on Wednesday 8th.

I wil get this looked at for you, sorry for the delay in response.  My colleague runs the account and is currently away on holiday
124  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: !!NEW!! Physical Bitcoin Design Competition !!NEW!! Bounties Inside! on: October 13, 2014, 02:01:23 PM
Ok guys be gentle...I have probably used Illustrator for less than 20hrs in my life and this is my first ever attempt at something like this:)

21 Bitcoins round the edge obviously represent the 21 million BTC's. I wasn't sure to put .999 on here as it gold plated brass.

Since 2008 represents when the white paper was published online.

Anyway, after the last winner I am sure we will see some much better designs, but wanted to put something out there!

Thank you for your entry
125  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: !!NEW!! Physical Bitcoin Design Competition !!NEW!! Bounties Inside! on: October 10, 2014, 03:31:31 PM
Hi

I would like to submit a design - if the design is not perfect (eg - colours) do you have a designer who polishes off the final design?

Thanks

Yes we do
126  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: !!NEW!! Physical Bitcoin Design Competition !!NEW!! Bounties Inside! on: October 10, 2014, 04:38:41 AM
The contest requires to make 2 separate designs or just 1?

You can just mate one or both
127  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: !!NEW!! Physical Bitcoin Design Competition !!NEW!! Bounties Inside! on: October 10, 2014, 04:37:37 AM
Should all of the coins be round?

Should we keep the designs only gold / silver or are we allowed to add color?

Should entrants refrain from pointing others to vote in this contest? I understand this can be a gray area, but the more clarification we can get on this the better.

Are we allowed to use some or all of a design that we submitted for the previous contest? I'm not planning to but in case someone else would like to it will be best to clarify this now.

The coins do not have to be round

Designs Can be a mix of colour, fot example you might want some gold played highlights on your silver coin, please Keep to just silver or gold though

Pointing others to vote in the contest is fine so long as voters are not enticed

Yes you can modify and submitted designs from the previous contest
128  Economy / Auctions / Re: Official Auction For Our 2 Ounce Solid Silver (2 BTC) Coin #1 - Ends 30th Nov on: October 08, 2014, 05:25:52 PM
Really cool coin, but I think the premium is way too high on these 1.21 BTC for 2 ounces of silver...

This coin is so much more than the spot price of silver;

Production costs – including producing artwork for the tooling, making a mould and dies.
Unique hologram production – Including producing artwork and creating shims for the production.  The de-metallization process to make the clear window is also an extra cost
Handmade solid wood boxes – Our boxes are individually hand made from solid oak – Not Cheap!
Hallmarking – Each coin is individually hallmarked and the quality of the metal is tested on every single coin
Plaque & Coin laser engraving – Each box and coin is uniquely numbered
Booklet production – The booklet and COA that comes with each coin, comes at a cost
Free Worldwide shipping – P&P to any destination worldwide is also included in our price

If you take all that into consideration, you will discover our mark-up on the product is very modest.

Hope that helps!

Another question: those two won't be limited edition coins?

They will be limited by a production run of 2000 coins but they are not numbered

Thank you

The coin looks amazing.  Your website mentions other gold and silver Bitcoins as well.  Will they have the same design?

the 2 ounce silver (2BTC) will have the same design as the 2 ounce gold (5BTC)

The 1 ounce silver (1BTC) will have the same design as the 1 ounce gold (1BTC)

the 0.10 and 0.50 coins will have different designs as designed by the community

Hope that helps
