I think that the OP is right and new generations prefer innovative jobs rather than traditional ones. But, even if learning modern skills like SEO, programming or online marketing sounds promising, the fact that so many people is interested in these jobs and that it is so easy nowadays to learn them for free online could suppose that these abilities won't be very competitive in the mid-term. On the contrary, many traditional jobs are becoming niches because young people don't like them, and niches are usually profitable.
Traditional jobs on long term might me promising but not all of them are. Only in some sectors like the Oil industry feels more promising of a better profits than other sectors. So i think it is not good relying on such hope because anyday one can be sacked from work or forced to quit. I heard that the amount of money one could on the internet in a year could take am average worker who is working in the traditional structure 4 years to make such money. It is exhausting spending more time and effort into work that will not give us maximum returns It's just like putting our energy into the wrong things. Growing up i had the mindset of not going to work for anyone the reason was because i saw how my parents worked for over 30 years and still working but the result of their labor is poor and unfulfilled. Ever since then i made up my mind that i will be in charge of how i work and there must be flexibility in any work i chose in this life.
When you exchange time for money you lack more time to think about ways of making more money. This is why i choose to be a website designer. I can work from home and have time to do other things like reading, fun activities, also invest into business and of all things i will have time to upskill and learn new things. This is the kind of life i want for myself, not a life where i answer yes sir to someone after giving him almost 80% of my time for some peanuts. You are right about Nigeria having talented and well gifted individuals in production but just as I usually say that no matter what we produce here, you can't match it up with international standards and that is basically because our government do not create an enabling environment for her citizen to showcase their talents and skills, so that they can possibly sponsor them to acquire more knowledge that will bring out the best that can match up with international standards. It's just that we Nigerians do not value products made within our countries. One good day i went to buy a bulb, funny enough i bought a bulb locally made here in Nigeria, i was pleased to see the brightness and the durability if the bulb so i got the China made one too. I did some comparisons i found that there is no difference form the one made in Nigeria and the one made in China. Infact the brightness of the local products was way better than that of China. I was just playing Hi-Lo, making small dollar bets, if it's 5 number card I select higher card and win, if it's 10 number then I go with 'low' and win.
Then I was greeted with Ace card, minimal possibility for equal card right (i.e, Ace), so I go all in, and guess what happens, the result is Ace means I lost the bet.

I think for the league title we may likely see a repeat of last season, because ever since Arsenal relinquished powers to Manchester City as they've always done, I don't think Manchester City will drop a single point till the end of the season, especially now that they have the energy to concentrate only on the league and FA cup. Should i say i was lucky to no have accepted a proposal of taking me to the US for school of music when i was young? I could remember vividly that my dad rejected an appeal crew from Christ Embassy who were interested in my piano talents at the age of 12. They brought gifts and money for my parents to convince them on the idea. Literally, i was playing for them at their local branch in Port Harcourt. I've had someone say this in several other threads and maybe in the next match Arsenal and Liverpool will get another surprise defeat but for Liverpool it's still unpredictable because they still have good experience at the top of the standings while Arsenal I really doubt this team because like what I once said is that no matter how good Arsenal performance is, they will definitely only appear consistent for a while, after that they lose consistently and end up failing to win the title and in fact I think Arsenal have failed this season.
