I can't say Man U played better than Newcastle, but I guess the home field factor played a major role... They were lucky in this match and to be honest their game was much better than the previous ones... Now Newcastle and Devils have the same number of points in the standings and there is a small chance to get into the Conference League if Chelsea lose to Bournemouth, which I doubt...
I was surprise Manchester United won the game last night against Newcastle United, there win against Newcastle United has given them a chance to qualify for the conference league if Chelsea losses to Bournemouth which I doubt just as you, but football can funny and unpredictable anything can happen Bournemouth can shock the world by winning Chelsea puting Manchester United in a better position to qualify for the conference league.
this is just like an arsenal fan wishing that Man city will loose against Tottenham Hotspur so they will maintain their position on the top of the premier league table and then when it never happened they expect west Ham to win Manchester City in there next encounter. You can't expect others to loose before you succeed. Chelsea has gone back to her winning form and I don't see any form of loss in Thier last encounter against Bournemouth on Sunday. Chelsea even have an high chance of getting to the fifth position at the end of the day if Tottenham Hotspur isn't able to win shiefield UTD on Sunday but that's not even our concern. We're not moving anywhere below the sixth position and Manchester United will most likely remain in Thier 8th position.

This is a frustrating but true fact. Poverty deters people from investing in Bitcoin. They think investing in Bitcoin is too difficult and expensive. They think saving in poverty will not be responsive to them. But they don't know it, the money invested weekly or monthly in Bitcoin can one day change their life. There is no need to set aside a lot of money, setting aside a little money and saving regularly can greatly improve their quality of life. In this case I will blame their lack of knowledge.
No matter how smart you are in this case scenario of $50 per month, you may not be able to accumulate bitcoin, talk less of setting aside discretion /reserved and emergency fund  because $50 is way smaller in terms of btc investment. because if for instance you are receiving $50 per month, let's say you set aside $5 weekly DCA howany Dolla will you keep for emergency and reserved and also feeding for the next 3weeks ahead after you might have invested in the first week? Surely such investment will put you in a tight corner. In as much as we talk about investing as little as $5 to $10 through DCA , we should also think of a reasonable amount that will not make us to sell off our bitcoin HODLing, than a kind of investment which is less than not investing atol. $50 is not a reasonable amount to even feed a family for 1 month so let me realistic in our analysis. Except you can invest a lum sum of $5- $10 per month which I don't know how it can be possible.

I don't know the kind of impressions you are trying to create here because every little beginning has a greater path so are you trying to tell me that because someone's income is not enough they should not make investments? a very wrong analysis sorry to say, if you can't invest when you have little there is every possibility that even if you have enough you can't still invest. You need to understand that not every one have that mindset of owning an investment even when they are rich so investment works with the ability to conquer some challenges around you and still continue because literally no man gets enough of himself as human wants are insatiable hence if someone who is earning $50 cannot make investments plan then definitely even if they increase his monthly salary to $200 or $500 he will still find it difficult to invest because he will begin to reason that now that he is earning higher is the time to enjoy himself with his family and live a better life, I have seen a lot of people do this.

I would have loved to know how much he started investing with to have made such conclution that you can't make an investment plan if you're earning $50 per month. The ability to start investing is one of the most important steps every investor has ever made and the truth is that people are of different financial class and belong to different regions and so regardless of what you are earning, if you're serious about investing for your future, it doesn't matter if you are able to start with $10 a month or $200 a month, if you're able to increase your earning along the way, you can choose to increase the allocation that goes into your investment. In a typical Christian religion setting that I'm familiar with, we all know that 10% payment for tithe is what's expected of them and regardless of wether the individual earns $50, $100 or even $500 a month, it's expected that he remits his 10% tithe at the end of the month and those that are faithful to it pays it regardless of thier financial strength or weakness.

Like you've rightly said, if you can't start investing when you have little resource, there is no guarantee that you will be able to invest when you've increased your earning. If you talk about meeting all your needs before thinking about making your investment, you already know that human wants are insatiable, when you think you've solved one, another comes right into your face.  Regardless of how much you're earning, I guess it's just best to decide that a certain percentage will always go into your investment. So let's say you're earning $50 per month, you just push out $5 into Bitcoin and know that it's the days of your little begining. Along the line, you will certainly increase how much you're earning and you can easily effect the increase in the process rather than waiting till you're already made before going into making making your investment.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: May 16, 2024, 08:43:50 AM
I think why people find it difficult to talk about bitcoin price  in prior to the ballpark of the beginning of 2012 when the price was around $5 + is that bitcoin was not really know as much and people didn't realise it potential because it was less than nothing but after several halving and price spike made people to have more hope and trust on bitcoin. an most people leave a regrettable life simply they where not opportuned to have bought earlier when it was less than nothing. talking about bitcoin coming along way may not be necessarily be price changes but there are many factors surrounding it

I think at that time not many people knew and people were still skeptical not to want to know about BTC that it would be like this and the most obvious reason was that at that time only certain circles / communities had this accurate information even though at the beginning there was also an invitation to invest for their closest people only and not public, but there might be a reason they could not provide a clear picture of what BTC would be like at that time.

Yes. BTC is increasing in value day by day and this certainly opens up great opportunities for anyone who wants to enter and invest with a fast time cut duration in doubling the yield. In fact, it has only been a few days since the price of BTC went from 60K to 65K. Very remarkable.
one major thing we have to take note of is that at the start of Bitcoin,  I doubt that people looked at it as an investible asset that much, i guess it was introduced to the majority of people as a decentralized finance that guarantees them freedom and total control of thier wealth. Even though some people were fortunate enough to get access to having a chunk of it, because it wasn't clear at the time that Bitcoin will ever amount to what it currently is at the moment, people didn't buy Bitcoin primarily as an asset that's worth holding on to and I guess that's the reason why somany sold there's earlier than expected when the value of Bitcoin wasn't even up to $10k.

It's somehow normal to want to use such premise to guide how we view Bitcoin at the moment and possibly make a better future projection regarding what it worth will be in the future which will in turn encourage us to accumulate more bitcon and HODL for a longer timeframe and surely, this is the main reason we've got alot of speculation coming here and thier about Bitcoin getting up high to the moon in less than no time and the truth is that based on what's currently playing out in terms of the level of adoption and the multipurpose function Bitcoin is serving in the world digital system, it's certain that Bitcoin will suppase $100k in no time from now.

But it's not just enough to know that Bitcoin has come too far in terms of it value and also it level of adoption and that it will get to $100k or even go above $150k before next year, while we anticipate such bull amd walk with Bitcoin on the road to $100k, it's necessary we're being consistent with our accumilation so we wouldn't miss out when Bitcoin eventually gets to those speculated regions.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: May 15, 2024, 02:57:54 PM

Another thing for me and I think the best approach to accumulation is to allocate 20% to bitcoin, keep 20% as an emergency fund for things that might happen unexpectedly, and the remaining 60% to make ends meet.
[/quote]
Imo i believe the optimum allocation is subjective based on individuals income, country, goal, and attitude towards risk.
The DCA amount allocated for the month
I guess doesn't have to be once a month but could be spread across the days in a month especially during a correction or dip.
Quote
it's not out of place to assign a certain amount that's going into DCA once every month and for most cases including the kind of option where he seems to be suggesting that 20% will go into his monthly DCA while 60% will be for house upkeep will work too well for most individuals. For most salary earners that recieved there pay at the end of the month, it's just best to stick to one time buy per month so as to become more disciplined with your DCA and also to ensure that you don't miss out on your DCA because you're trying to buy at different times of the months because you're trying to buy at a convenient dip. But like you've said, if you're able to go above once a month, it's totally okay to do that but if you're trying to buy at different times of the months just because you want to time the market, you might end up putting yourself at a tight corner we're event might play out and you might miss out on your buys due to unplanned event.

I think an income of $50 per month is of course quite a small income, in fact no company pays its employees $50 per month. I don't think it's too much of a burden for people to invest $10 per week because that's a nominal amount that is easily within everyone's reach, but yes, it comes down to each individual
I guess this should be in your country and based on what you believe is nominal as investment.
A person receiving a huge income doesn't necessarily mean they have much idle funds for investment
There are individuals choked up with expenses and responsibilities that is quite hard investing more than 10% of their income.
The best is investing as a capacity leads
regardless of how big or small your income his, with proper planning, you can still invest the right way. Those that earn more usually have better advantage of investing with a greater amount compared to those that earn little and I totally understand that the higher your earnings, the higher your responsibility tend to pile up but if you're disciplined enough to cutting down on your expenses, you can DCA with a greater amount of you're earning well. At the end of the day, even if you're DCAing with $10, $30 or even $100 per week, it doesn't make much difference as long as you're investing in line with your financial strength. Everyone will have to tailor down his investment choice based on the kind of situation that's peculiar to him/her and I think that that's the best way to invest.

Buy with spare funds and hide the balance
It would shock you one day the amount you would find there when you go finally check.
maybe we can make a little adjustments to this statement and rather say, Buy with the right amount of funds and take your eyes off it. the concept of buying with your spare funds will tend yo suggest that you have to nake all the expenses that you have and then whatever is left will go into investing into Bitcoin. You can't really do too well in your accumilation journey if you buy your Bitcoin with such kind of idea.

125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful with people's money on: May 15, 2024, 01:31:17 PM
There is another one that I read today that people thought he ran away with people's money but he later confessed that he lost it to gambling. It is about a solana-based cypher developer, he confesses that he lost $300K of user funds to gambling.

this shouldn't always be shifted to gambling to be honest. He could have squandered the money with whichever way he chooses to buy it's just that for this context, he chooses to use it to gamble. People need to understand that any money that's not your own should be kept for the purpose for which the money got into your hands. You can't be too smart when it comes to using people's money. There is some sort of spirit that's associated with people's money. Sometimes you can use your money to gamble and wouldn't loose it but when it comes to other people's money, it's always strange how it goes off in no time.

If you aren't ready to gamble responsibly most expecially when it has to do with people's money, you should reconsider quiting entirely.

Manchester United vs Newcastle

We all know Manchester United is not in the good shape because they were suffering 2 losing streak from Crystal Palace and the latest is from Arsenal and total Manchester United has unable to win the last 3 matches in Premier League and the performance of their opponent Newcastle is much better than them because Newcastle can collect 3 wins from 5 latest matches and Newcastle only get 1 loses from those matches so it's interesting to see which team would be the winner of this match

Is gonna be absolutely very interesting today and actually is gonna be difficult predicting Manchester United to win the match considering the fact that they have not been improving lately though we may likely see an unexpected result on this match because sometimes Manchester United can be very unpredictable in terms of there performance but judging based on there both performance Newcastle United has a good chance of beating Manchester United because even there last time the match turn out on there favour and besides since Newcastle United was not able to qualify for the champions League next season there main focus now will be to secure the Europa Conference league next season.

Manchester United is facing their difficult times. So many players are currently suffering from injuries, practically Manchester United doesn't have many options to play their best squad, and even for the central defender position they have to play a defensive midfielder. Obviously, this will be a tough battle for Manchester United because Newcastle is a strong team and they are performing quite well at the moment. However, if you look at their performance when playing against Arsenal, it seems that Man United has improved slightly. So if they can play like they did against Arsenal, then Man United will have a chance to get points.
what helped Manchester United against arsenal was that they came into the match as an underdog and didn't play as though they needed to be relaxed. That's not going to happen in today's match against Newcastle as they are they favourite to winning the match and when they are in such spot, there mentality do most times get a hold of them and it affects them most times.

Somehow, Manchester United level of inconsistency has had a bad tune on them and considering the fact that Chelsea and Newcastle have the same points with goal difference putting Newcastle ahead of Chelsea, it's going to be a must win for Newcastle as they wouldn't want to go further down the table should they loose to Manchester United and Chelsea ends up winning today's game. It's going to be a fierce battle for the four teams but I'm certain Chelsea will secure thier victory but as for Manchester United, we can't tell what will become of them in this match.
127  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Crypto Matter: Abeg, Somebody Explain Am for Me on: May 15, 2024, 12:31:38 PM
I know say if no be for crypto, I go just dey in trouble for this country. Because as I dey finish service, I suppose go look for work like other normal people, but this work no dey the country. But what I no understand be why our country dey against crypto. I mean, the government go done see say eh dey help a lot of people nah. Abeg, anybody with better understanding of this matter fit explain am for me, make I understand more. Why dem dey fight against something wey dey bring money and hope to our people? Dem suppose dey support am, no be fight am. I just dey confused, make somebody help me out?
your knowledge on crypto shouldn't be a substitute to looking out for a good job that you can do outside of the crypto sector. As a starter, it's best you get involved in crypto as a side hustle while still looking for other means of making money and if you're done with service, you can still start up a little job while still making your investing in crypto.

As for the main reason why the government is cracking down all crypto related channels, most persons have rightly said it already and it's just basically because they feel that it's what's responsible for the devaluation of the naira. There aim is to crack down any exchanges that does p2p transaction which they believe is responsible for the increase in the exchange rate we're currently facing. But the issue is, has thier effort to crack down major crypto exchanges increased the value of the naira? The obvious answer is an emphatic NO. Cryptocurrency isn't the cause of the devaluation of the naira and even if they succeds in stoping any form of crypto transactions in Nigeria, the exchange rate would most likely remain the same. They refused to ensure that our rate of dependence on imported product is reduced to the lowest point and ensure that are agriculture and refineries is working well but want to shift attention to other sectors?  If they like, they should crack down all the popular p2p channels, crypto will stop go on in this country and that wouldn't in any way affect the average economic life of the Nigerian citizen.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 14, 2024, 07:56:04 PM
At the moment Man City are mounting much pressure which is expected considering they have everything to lose if the game end like this or they lose. Tottenham Hotspur can do better too if only they maintain their confidence and continue pressing Man City whenever they have the chance because you have to think like Man City to be able to beat them and I feel this first half will end in a draw.
Both teams are putting almost equal pressure on each other at the moment. And Tottenham actually played beyond expectations. but when Man City makes an attack we can see that Tottenham's back line easily panics. I think Tottenham must maintain composure and continue to put the same pressure on the Man City defense. The fast attack scheme that Tottenham sometimes shows looks good, but there are still many errors such as the accuracy of failed breakthrough passes. I suspect that in the first half there will be 1 goal.
this is arguably one of the best premier league games I've watched throughout this season where Manchester City gets almost the same kind of pressure from her opponents. I just love the intensity of the play, the composure of the players and the accuracy of the passes throughout this last 45 minutes.

I love the fact that although Manchester City knows how important this win means for them, they've chosen to remain calm and patient while creating chances for themselves. This is obviously one of those games you can easily bet that you won't get more than two goals at the peak and any team that possibly gets the ball to the back of the net first will most likely win this match. Arsenal fans will be excited at the performance Tottenham Hotspur is putting out tonight and will be hoping that they get an early goal as soon as possible so as to place them at an advantage. Pep is a tactical that knows how to make his tactical adjustment as he prepared his team for the second half and I just can't wait to see what the intensity of the second half will look like.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 14, 2024, 03:10:58 PM
Mathematically, Aston Villa still has a chance to appear in the Champions League and they were lucky they didn't lose last night against Liverpool. Now the competition is so open between Aston Villa and Spurs where the two teams will fight for a champions league place with a very small difference in points.

I didn't expect everything to be decided until the last match and currently Spurs are slightly favored considering they have 2 matches remaining and Aston Villa only has 1 match remaining. But it won't mean anything if Spurs can't beat Manchester City today and therefore they really have to get 3 points from Manchester City if they want to return to the Champions League. It won't be easy considering that it is through this match that Manchester City can lock up its EPL title again and we will definitely be surprised by the results later.
We can assume that today will be the most decisive match for Tottenham, after which they will still have chances, or everything will be over. The difficulty is that City is also a very important match in which they only need to win. So for Aston Villa this is good and the fact that yesterday they were able to play with Liverpool in a draw also gives them an extra point, perhaps which can be ultimately be decisive. But it seems to me that City will be able to win today, Tottenham is not a team that plays important matches well.
There is nothing left for Tottenham and I see no competition between them and Aston villa except if they win their both matches and Villa to lose their last game but the odds for Tottenham to make out such result is very low which means they would start to show working right from Manchester city to defend their opportunity of making it to the 4th position. My bet is already on City to win Tottenham but peradventure if City should lose then Arsenal are already tied to the title breaking their long years (21 years) of not holding the Premier trophy.
this match has a lot to do with arsenal than what Tottenham Hotspur would gain if they are able to Manchester City. If it where possible for the gunners to add an extra player to the Tottenham Hotspur team, they would have done so as they obviously need this win more than the way Tottenham needs the win. All arsenal fans will be rooting for them but you know what? Manchester City is totally equal to the task. After Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur in a very dramatic and embarrassing way, I don't see how they will be able to face the Almighty Manchester City and expect to get a win from the match. But this is football, sometimes it's just magical

Meanwhile, arsenal just launched a new logo 😂
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 14, 2024, 02:54:54 PM
Have you bothered to look at what wealth is literally? Let me start by telling you that wealth primarily  measures the value of all the assets of worth owned by a person, community, company, or country. Wealth is determined by taking the total market value of all physical and intangible assets owned, then subtracting all debts So if this is true, yii should now understand that the fact that you have fiat doesn't mean you're wealthy.

Money is just a form of wealth but money alone doesn't makes you wealthy. For you to even call yourself a wealthy person to some extent, you've got to integrate a bit of power and access to a good tune of asset to your name and that way it's easy to assume that you're wealthy but by mere having money alone doesn't make you wealthy.
131  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Cryptocurrency have created more jobs for the youths than the goverments on: May 14, 2024, 02:44:59 PM
If you add the various ways cryptocurrency have created jobs for students and the youths, you will agree with me that our goverment are far behind in terms of employment creation for the youths and stduents. As a matter of fact, i do think there is even provision for students job as it is in some parts of the world... here is always graduation before getting a job.

for a while now, we've not seen news of job vacancies that's created by the state or federal government. Even in the past when there were instances when state governor do take employment of youths seriously, it's mostly in the teaching and security sector that end of favouring just a selected few that are almost frustrated at life and just want to put themselves in any position that will bring them some Cash.

Cryptocurrency on the other hand has liberated a lot of youth from looking after these two sectors that's the only option that's available for young Nigerian and it saddens me a lot that it is getting this kind of criticism from the same people that couldn't do what it's currently doing. If you take away the population of youths that are in the crypto sector out and you add them to the number of unemployed youths, you will find out that almost 80% of youth aren't employed. What's annoying is that our leaders are yet to understand that times have changed and all these side hustle are what's collectively going to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country and in the process reduce the rate of poverty that's now very evident in the country.

This was the funniest moment in the game between Arsenal and Manchester United when ten hag put antony in the game after the second half has begun and den hag has decided to put him in the field. Many people are once again laughing on him right now. I'm not sure how Anthony felt when he was going to field as a substitute for his teammate but his expression gave a new meme. I meant to look at his expression and how he was actinglike a bull. He likes bulls that are willing to attack us and he looks like a clown at that time. I was so scared of it.
Manchester United is one bunch of unserious players with serious faces. What did he take himself as? A super man that's definitely coming in to defeat arsenal with his doll attack? That's funny 🤣

To be honest, Manchester United gave a fair fight in the match yesterday and we must give them thier deserved credits. They did everything well even without there key players bug it's just not thier day. I love the fact that arsenal had the victory, it's certainly going to put serious pressure in man city player body in Thier next encounter against Tottenham Hotspur and you know that the outcome of that match determines to a large extent if arsenal will win the premier league or not and it's just good to see the race going all down till the last day of the tournament.

I’m not sure if this story was already shared here but I just recently watch this gambler sad story from social media that is really heartbreaking.

The subject is Terrance Watanabe which is a successful businessman who has a huge business and money that becomes addicted on gambling. He lose a total of 127M which is all his fortune that he earn from his business. Imagine all your hardworking was turn out to nothing after a few years of gambling addiction.

The sad part here was he became a victim of casino scheme of alluring user with their offers and allowing him to play while drunk until he loss everything.

He manage to wager a whooping 825M $ in just a single year when he lose that 127M.

Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gambler-lost-127m-in-2007-sues-casino/
he is first off, not a good business person. He should have been wise enough to know that you don't mix business money with your personal money. You don't even gamble above a certain rate from your personal money and you want to go to the extent of gambling with a business money? That's really crazy.

I don't want to be too harsh on him and wouldn't also pity him that much cause if we're being realistic, most addict sees all the signs and red signals but still choose to walk along with it. Once you're addicted, anything can happen and we've had worse off cases when people had even stolen thier bosses money to gamble and end up being sacked and wrecked. The best way to go about any form of addictive lifestyle is to set a limit, stick with it and ensure regardless of the pressure and urge to continue gambling, you don't go above it.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: May 13, 2024, 09:43:02 AM
I believe that's the dynamics of the market and one thing you most know is that there is ups and downs when it comes to investment and there is every possibility that after buying a certain coin it will likely appreciate as time goes by while in most cases it will depreciate after you have bought but so long as you invested on a good coin no matter how the price drops it will surely bounce back to it normal price.
When you say that, I only imagine one coin, namely Bitcoin, because so far everyone has seen that investing in Bitcoin in the long term is always more likely to win after the price of Bitcoin increases again and this has been proven in several market cycle. And I think investors who still like to invest in Bitcoin in all market conditions, of course they will not be so easy to let go of their investment and they will even prefer to wait for the price to increase again even though they have seen the price of the Bitcoin they invested in decrease.
this is one of the main reason why some folks make the mistake of investment into any coin they see out thier with the mentality that as long as you invest into it, that with time it value would increase greatly. The reality is that such kind of mentality would only put you in a position where you end up investing in a dead projects that's even long gone. Bitcoin stands out as the surest investible long term asset. In the past, Bitcoin was valuable and at the presence it's still the most valuable asset and even in terms of having the greatest prospects even outside of the whatever digital asset that's out there, Bitcoin has stood strong and has even become more valuable than precious metals and gold.

Maybe in the future there can possibly come a digital asset that could get close to having the value that Bitcoin has had overtime , but even if such eventually cokes out, it's most likely going to be a model that's made to having the replica of Bitcoin.

It's even very disrespectful to make any comparison between Bitcoin and what's now known as crypto or other coins. If you are only able to buy a $5k worth of Bitcoin and leave it in your wallet, you can comfortably relax for couple of years without necessarily coming back to check if Bitcoin has gone valueless or something like that, but you can't make such kind of bet with what's now flying here and there as alt.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: May 13, 2024, 09:21:30 AM
It surely might not matter one way or the other if some one who is a  long term investor and/or holder believe the BTC price might go up to $120k to $180k this year and supra $250k in 2025, and if the price does not go there, then so what, they might not have had any plans on selling anyhow, but can still entertain such ideas.. and sure maybe the problem again could come down to the trader or the guy who overinvests because he is wanting to play short term price waves...
one major advantage I have come to love about investing with a long term mindset is that it doesn't really disturb your mind wether or not bitcoin goes too fast to breaking an ATH in no time or that it's now at $120k or even $200k within the year. Those kind of possibilty are great and are definitely what everyone that's investing in Bitcoin is currently anticipating but if you're more of a long term holder than one that's in search of quick profit, you wouldn't be disturbed about having to wait longer before Bitcoin even gets to $100k . Like we've all witnessed, it didn't take up to a year before this last sharp bull that ran from Bitcoin being at the rate that's below $30k to getting to $73k even before the halving and if we're even looking at it from such angle, it wouldn't be wrong to still note that we're still in such bull season that's still very much promising to taking us to $100k and above possibly within the year and although we've had some minor correction it's still been Little League to have been a sort of discouragement of any sort.

As long as you're investing for the long term, even if at the end of the year Bitcoin only happens to get to $100k or didn't even get to $100k, it doesn't in any way bring down the value of Bitcoin. One of the reason why Bitcoin is very valuable even at this moment when we've seen a lot of positive and negative statement from different sources that are looking for ways to downplay it relevance is that Bitcoin has been very consistent and less negatively volatile unlike most assets and to be even honest, while we anticipate Bitcoin to get to as high as $300k and above in few years from now, it's good to know that such kind of scenario in itself doesn't end up making us profitable in our Bitcoin investments.

Let's know that It's  best to stack up a great amount of Bitcoin at this price and in the next five years Bitcoin Bitcoin gets to $200k rather than stacking very few Bitcoin for a period of five years and Bitcoin gets to an incredible worth of $500k.

136  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin taxation on: May 13, 2024, 08:39:31 AM

After much, it's believed that only countries that it's federal accepts transactions unlimitedly are deemed to require taxes because they pays their taxes through bitcoin too so sensibly no country that would pronounce bitcoin an illegal currency would demand for taxes for taxes of illegal operations and illegal inventories.
So I hope that you Op isn't misunderstanding Taxes and Charges for penalties.
.
this is just the whole truth. I was even finding it deficult to comprehend the part that the OP tend to be suggesting that the federal government of Nigeria tasks 10% as tax from Bitcoin HODLers. If they don't accept it as legal tender, it makes no sense that it would be taxed in a any form. And Bitcoin isn't even any kind of asset that's centralized and has the potential of being taxed even when it's not accepted generally by a group of people. It's possible and easy to understand taxing bitcoin Holders in el Salvador since it's clearly a legal tender and users can get paid in BTC and have thier worth measured in terms of Bitcoin which makes it a bit reasonable but talking about Bitcoin taxation in Nigeria isn't realistic at the moment considering the level of adoption and fights the federal government is currently putting on Bitcoin and crypto users at the moment.

It's even deficult to publicly identify yourself as a crypto person or even tag your transaction a crypto related transaction due to the high level of sanction we've seen at the moment and it's clearly means that regardless of the amount of Bitcoin you have in your portfolio, the government wouldn't even want to talk about taking it cause the moment they task any Bitcoin related transaction, it directly means that they've made Bitcoin 100% legal in the country and I doubt they would want to go that open at the moment.

Nottm Forest vs Chelsea

Lineups

Nottm Forest — Sels; Montiel, Boly, Murillo, Niakhaté, Aina; Gibbs-White, Yates(C), Danilo, Hudson-Odoi; Wood.

Chelsea — Petrovic; Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Badiashile, Cucurella; Caicedo, Gallagher(C); Madueke, Palmer, Mudryk; Jackson.
it's really been a slow first half for the blues against Nottingham forest. With the first half coming to w close with a 1:1 draw, it's not speaking well of Chelsea's desire to remain strong at the top 7th position.

Jackson is obviously not the kind of attacker that Chelsea needs at this point cause he's been missing most of his chances and hasn't been as aggressive as expected of him. Though Chelsea have really had a lot of time on the ball, it's not been too favourable for them in Thier opponents box and thier level of creativity and pace hasn't been at it best to be really honest. They still have another 45 minutes of play to fix all thier lapses and ensure they score goals but if that's going to happen, the coach will have to make good talks and decision at the dressing room and they've got to increase on how fast they attack thier opponent as the second half will kick off any moment from now.

With the Premier League title race between Manchester City and Arsenal, I think there's no possibility that Fulham will make Manchester City drop points when they play in the Premier League today. Tottenham knows how to play against Manchester City, so it doesn't matter if Tottenham is performing well or not. Tottenham will be at home against Manchester City, which is an advantage for Tottenham to even perform well against Manchester City.
Premier League title race between Manchester City and Arsenal is heating up but I don't see Fulham causing an upset and taking points off Manchester City in their match today. However Tottenham has history of knowing how to face Manchester City and with advantage of playing at home they might just be able to capitalize on this and put up strong performance against Cityzens. It is not about Tottenham current form but  their ability to rise to occasion and make most of their home turf advantage. This could be crucial factor in determining the outcome of the match and potentially the fate of the title race.

Both Man City and Arsenal will play as guests this week and I think even though both of their opponents are not at their best, but Fulham and Man United still have a chance to make a surprise because of their advantage of playing at home. If that surprise really happens then this will make the competition in the title race even more interesting. Arsenal really seem to have learned from their mistakes last season and it looks like they don't want to slip up again. But if in the end they still lost to Man City, at least they had fought until the end of the day.
one thing is certain this weekend and that's, the top two spot will have a momentary shift as man city will certainly win their match while arsenal will most likely draw against man united.

I know that Manchester United hasn't been consistent in Thier games for a while now but you see this encounter against arsenal, it's definitely going the way of Manchester United. Arsenal has a common nature of being inconsistent at the end of the season which end up hindering them from wining trophies even when they are closed to winning and gets really bad this time around that they are in a close tie with man city and the only condition that will see them winning this trophy is that they have to win all the remaining matches while man city will have to get loose at least one match. I'm just certain that this weekend will go a long way to making it very glairing on who will eventually emerge the EPL winner of the season.

Despite being the club's all-time leading goal scorer, he deserves better than this. Since joining PSG, he's won lot of trophies but has yet to claim the Champions League title. Now, he's announced his departure from the club at the end of the season, which seems like a wise decision for Mbappe. Perhaps he realizes that winning the Champions League with PSG is unlikely. It's time for him to seek new challenges. If he's truly seeking a challenge, the Premier League could be a great option. However, he might opt for the easier path, where success in the Champions League is almost guaranteed with Madrid. However, he needs Real Madrid more than Real Madrid needs him.

When Harry Kane moved to Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur I assume that he believed he would win the UCL in one or two seasons. His ambition seems not to come to pass with the club having one of its worst seasons. Players should leave a club not just because they want to win trophies but for other reasons. This is because nothing is certain in football. Mbappe had the opportunity to be one of the highest-paid players in Madrid but he decided to remain in PSG. Now he is going back to the club indirectly pleading to be accepted. He should expect many challenges, which include a reduction in earnings, stiff competition, and no special treatment. If he loses all the privileges he enjoyed in PSG and Madrid fails to win the  Champions League in two seasons, Mbappe might become frustrated.
there is nothing like frustration here. I don't even like mbape playing for PSG cause he is not getting the needed assist that will make him shine well as a top attacker in the team.  Outside of the fact that is pay might not be as mouth watering as what his worth is, the move to real Madrid is certainly a good move. All those true passes vini jnr has regularly played into the 18 yard box without someone standing in to scoring those goals would be a thing of the past once mbape joins the real Madrid team .

He has an higher chance of winning the champions league next season with Madrid than joining any other club to be really honest. The case of harry case is totally different and to some extent, it appears as though Hary Kane has bad luck when it comes to winning trophies but that's never to say Bayern munich is a very bad club. They played too well and he was always instrument in all there games.

Las las sha, dem talk say anything wey person nor understand, na so e go dey fight am.
normally, there is a high knowledge gap between most of this people at the forefront of our major agencies and what's really obtainable today. What they are just trying to do is to link the fake dollar they ceased to crypto source since they've successfully painted a narrative that the problem of this country revolves around the dollar and the best way to do it is by just talking about crypto machine without knowing how crypto works. Is there anything that's even called a crypto machine in the first place?

It's just a disgrace that they are fighting against what they know little or nothing about. If you ask that man how the supposed crypto machine will affect the economy you will know that he obviously knows nothing about cryptocurrency. How many persons in this country has even considered going into mining of Bitcoin? That's even if he is talking about mining machines. Even if it's a mining machine, is mining machine that small? If they are even wise and updated about what's happening in the county they should know that such thing isn't even feasible in a country as ours.

No be only small cryptocurrency machine that can do a lot of harm to our economy 😂
Shebi the machine corrupt pass our politician abi?
