I've reported it to the Mods, I suggest you all do the same please.

Looks like someone already fell for it?

I know I am clutching at straws but this has just been declared by wizkid057 the Eligius operator that this is not Hashfast https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386532.msg4208871#msg4208871

This "has" to be an ASIC manufacturer surely due to the massive increases - it's now at ~225 Th/s in the space of days.

One of the more educated and recent timeline predictions points to 24th December for Normal volume chip production starting.
Could these be the product of a new Low-volume chip production run?

I am definitely open to more educated and knowledgeable suggestions.

I posted this the other day, however with all the white noise on here it glossed over.

Does anyone have any comments or opinions on this?
The dates seem to fit quite nicely with our speculated timeline.

It's shot up from ~9Th/s on the 24Dec13 to ~162 Th/s as of today.

Sorry for going out on a limb here and probably being over-optimistic but....

Is there anyway that this could be ActiveMining testing equipment?
http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX

Or on the flip side

Is there any definitive proof that it is impossible for this to be an ActM farm?
(And no, I don't want to hear that it can't be ActM because it's a scam etc...)

On this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386532.0 people were speculating it could belong to HashFast... who knows?

Thank you ever so much Ken

Especially as you took the effort to post this on Christmas Day too.

I'm very excited for what the New Year will bring for ActiveMining!

- On a side note this is the first time I've been able to read this thread without having to wade through so much unnecessary rubbish, I really hope we can keep it up.

I've been hoping that the "delay" on Cryptotrade is because Ken has been in talks with the Chromawallet team and knows their timelines for a full release of this brilliant system.
Therefore; why duplicate work for himself if this is the end goal anyway?

I apologize for breaking up the useless banter with relevant discussion. ActM shareholders, please consider and comment:

It seems Chromawallet (colored coin) development is progressing very well. I'm wondering if it would be best to skip listing on crypto-trade.com and avoid the inevitable issues that arise with trading securities on centralized exchanges. I for one, would rather not be exposed to the risk of another exchange operator "having wallet issues" — (I'm looking at you Ukyo) or simply getting bullied by the SEC. Centralized bitcoin security exchanges inevitably fail for technical or legal reasons with few exceptions. Given chromawallet's progress we may be able to use a decentralized solution by the end of January and avoid the rather significant counter-party risk crypto-trade.com represents. Perhaps Killerstorm (chromawallet developer) would provide Ken with some listing support as ActM trading on ChromaWallet might go a long way to increasing ChromaWallet's usage for decentralized stock exchange.

I actually wish we didn't receive the November announcement.
It has caused more issues and stress than if it hadn't been posted.

I would love for Ken to come on now with a simple, easy to understand explanation as to what is happening.
Not an attempted marketing statement that needs interpreting and analysing.

If we're now concentrating on a more hardware sales business, which i hope we're not. Then where is the advertising, marketing and PR?
We've been left behind by other companies who are selling their goods.

I really had high hopes that we were going to be one of the best and most up to date mining operations in the Bitcoin landscape.

Ken please prove me wrong....
130  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 30, 2013, 06:55:57 PM
I'm not sold.

It doesn't state that it's one of the mining machines.

It states in there the chips are late so they can incorporate intellihash.

And please don't tell me  "Also, AMC has added additional hashing power from our Klondikes" is the extra hashing we've been seeing?

I'm only thinking like this because I was expecting/hoping for a much bigger announcement...

"We have this last week shipped our first products to customers."

YAYAYAYAYA

Edit: looks like Crumbs noticed the late bit too.

132  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CryptFolio.com - keep track of your cryptocurrencies! (BTC/LTC/NMC/...) on: November 26, 2013, 10:59:34 AM
Due to the changes in market prices for Bitcoin and Litecoin, we've dropped the prices for CryptFolio premium accounts effective immediately.

Premium accounts help pay for server costs and maintenence; give you access to exclusive features such as graph pages and technical indicators; and your accounts, addresses and summaries will be updated every hour (instead of every 12 hours for free users). Current prices:

Bitcoin: 0.01 BTC per month, or 0.1 BTC per year
Litecoin: 0.5 LTC per month, or 5 LTC per year

We're also participating in Bitcoin Black Friday - this Friday only, get 75% off CryptFolio premium accounts!

Thanks to everyone who is currently supporting CryptFolio with a premium account.

Sorry for the daft question.

Does that mean a Years service on BTC Black Friday will be 0.025BTC?
133  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 1 2011 Holo Error DAY 1 Casascius 1BTC on: November 20, 2013, 10:58:25 AM
Are you able to provide a guide price at all via PM please?

Oh no that's a shame.

I hope you haven't lost much and can get it back from insurance.

Good luck

I don't normally come on here and post anything negative, however; yet again another "news" article which mentions every single one of our competitors with no mention of ActM/VMC or a quote from Ken....

Mr. Revalin .7 BTC is coming your way

Wow, good on you both Cheesy
137  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 08:39:44 AM

A million dollar order  Shocked  not bad for a day's work!

Twist: The $1M order was Ken's order for the ActM mining operation.

That's exactly I thought.

The exact figure he posted is what the price on the website is for 6x Platinum machines. We would pay cost price wouldn't we?

I checked the price too on the VMC site, before seeing your post as I thought this might be the case.
But yes the quoted price is market price not cost price.
Therefore; I'm sure it isn't for "our" own use and seems it is for a legitimate buyer.
138  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 11, 2013, 03:13:08 PM
Ken stated that he has to manually perform a payment for some of the mining equipment into their wallet.

My reading of that is that they are from the initial prototype chips.

Therefore; since the afternoon of 03Nov13 this new extra equipment has mined 6.8882027BTC

I had a little over 3.4 in CL. The CDs still show on my page. Mine are spread into 3 CDs about a week apart. I've got one coming due next week. I'll withdraw if I can but somehow I don't think that will happen.

TradeFortress seemed like an upstanding enough person and I started very small and got braver over time. I'm disappointed as it does not seem the promises of security were kept. I hope that some of this can be rectified.

I wonder if there is any police investigation. I noticed this UK based company http://www.sytech-consultants.com/ that claim to do Digital Forensics on bitcoin.

Drop Simon an email there.

He'll get back in touch with you about this as he's keen to help out in the Bitcoin world:
