what mean gpu0 return incorrect data and after that windows restart how I can fix that ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Means you're probably overclocking too much.

Is there a user friendly Monero wallet yet?
Client side user friend wallet, no.

ZEC definately won't be dual mine, he said it before in his ZEC thread, it uses both memory and GPU.
It would be nice to get some other form of ETH dual miner with a coin thats more profitable than SIA,DCR and LBRY.
Last time I checked, dual mining isn't worth the extra power used. Even if it is, the additional stress that it puts on the hardware certainly doesn't justify the tiny profit margin.

which is best pool for mining monero?
Dwarfpool.

I am planning on building a mining rig with more than 8 gpus. I've bought 1 to 4 pci express splitters but I had no luck getting the motherboards to boot with more gpus than the number of its actual physical pcie ports. (tried z87, h97, h81, b150). The person who sold these to me said he heard ASROCK X99 EXTREME supports up to 32 GPUS. Now I've seen somewhere on the ethereum dual miner thread that somebody managed to use around 18?, i think, amd cards on linux, but I cannot find that post anymore. Anyone have any info on this? Will a motherboard with X79 chipset be just as good, as they have the same number of lanes? Or it depends more on the bios ?They are rather expensive and I want to hear some opinions before I throw my money.
You are wasting your time, money and putting your entire system at risk both in terms of failure and ROI.

So it's not worth buying 8 rigs?
Buying 8 rigs to mine just zec wouldn't be wise ATM Now mining something else in the down time of zec wouldn't be bad I pay .13kWh and I haven't had a month yet that I didn't profit from Granted some months I did better than others Someone that pays high for power like me just has to keep a closer eye on the market Well, I won't be mining just ZEC obviously .. Would just be whatever is the most profitable.

The real price for 390 cards is around 250$. Don't look at the old amazon offers which are ridiculously high. However I warn you (and everyone planning to invest in new rigs) that most probably by the time of arriving of the cards, the profit will drop so much that the ROI will be impossible in near future. Look at the plummeting prices of ETH and ETC curently. The pressure on ZEC and XMR is too high now, so they will not hold the current price for long.
I agree with that. If you pay more than $0.12 per kWh, it is not profitable to mine the ZEC, let alone ROI. So it's not worth buying 8 rigs?

RX480 @ 750 h/s using Claymore's GPU miner out of the box.
Which OS? Windows.
|
|
|
Got 720 h/s on my RX 480. Not bad, thanks )
730h/s @1110c/2000m - 30h/s speedup, not sure how to do @800h/s on Win (like Wolf0 do on GNU) RX480 @ 750 h/s using Claymore's GPU miner out of the box.
|
|
|
On the other side I'm 100% sure that Claymore's ZEC miner reached the plato. You cannot get more than 2-4% of improvements more
You would be 100% incorrect. He has already stated there is another speed increase coming. Sure we're reaching close to the end but some more can be squeezed. I heard the theoretical limit of a RX480 is around ~300 h/s.

Is it even possible to manage XMR remotely (read only in my case, just monitoring the rigs)?
I'm really interested in the answer to this. For the CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner, no. For the CryptoNote Windows GPU Miner, yes.

I'm pretty sure that Claymore can re-write code to support 4xx cards using approach for CDM and ZEC miners. And we can mine up to 1000H/s per RX 480
At 750 h/s on an RX480, unless i'm mistaken, we're already at the top end of what is achievable while being stable.

Wolf-XMR-Miner has been superseded by SGMiner-GM.
It lags somewhat behind the Claymore XMR miner though.

They have been done, i have done this months ago, shared the roms here as well. Check the op.
Links are working now, thanks. Do you have a thread for RX series / Polaris cards? My RX480's are dieing to get some static undervolting ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Of course I tried so, but still does not work Haha, server is down, will be back up asap.. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hrmph .. Are there any tutorials on hex editing roms? Having to use Trixx / AB etc to do a -100mV is a pain, surely that can be done statically in the vBIOS / rom.

im trying to rent hash to use at zcash.flypool.org can it work?
Best you use dwarfpool, considerably more profit.

It is not a virus.

does xmr mining draw more power then zec? Thinking about switching a rx 470 rig from zec to xmr.
It draws much less power than ETH mining. But so does ZEC? Switched from ETH to ZEC for the lower power draw so I dont want the higher draw back by changing to XMR. XMR uses around the same power draw as ZEC last time i checked.

does xmr mining draw more power then zec? Thinking about switching a rx 470 rig from zec to xmr.
XMR is leading the pack in terms of mining right now, best to get on it asap. Claymore's XMR miner is unstable on my RX 480 rigs ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) It has never given me any issues at all, is there any errors in the logs?
