can I send my coins from the old wallet to an other computer with the new v3 wallet?
thx
No. The old wallet is on the old blockchain, so it would literally be like trying to send a bowling ball down an alley on Earth expecting it to knock out pins on an alley on Mars. Sorry about the bad example ok, I understand but how to get my B3 to the new wallet?

THX for your helpful response :-)
I sounds like the last problem you mentioned coulb be the reason. I installed SIA at a new computer and wanted to import the seed maybee there was another wallet created before automatically? How to delete this?
THX
No problem! :-) The best way probably is going to be deleting the current wallet. Go to the Terminal tab and type "wallet init-seed --force". It will ask you for your seed, and after scanning the blockchain for some minutes (or even one hour or so) it will be done and the client will be associated with that old seed. It is better to have the client fully sync before doing this looks good it is scanning now ... thx everything is fine now....Thank you very much :-)

Good afternoon. There are almost 5000 blocks for the fork... i Hello i am getting a little bit concerned what do we have to do to wallets before hard fork nothing i hope It's strongly recommended: 1) to withdraw coins from exchanges 2) to backup your wallet.dat or to send coins to paper wallets. You have to do that as soon as possible. it is not save to keep them at bleutrade? THX https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1733963.msg24132413#msg24132413ok THX

I have an 2 year old sia seed. now I wanted to log in at the actual sia wallet and I get this error: "error when calling /wallet/unlock: provided encryption key is incorrect"
I used this key before and I´m sure it worked. was there some swap or something in the last months?
THX
Hi. In August 2015 a network upgrade made incompatible the old wallet system based on a file, being only compatible the seed-based wallets. Your seed should be still compatible, no other upgrades has been done with the seed system to the best of my knowledge. Check that the sequence of words of the seed is complete (do all the words make sense in English? is any character missing in the words?). If you are copy/pasting the seed check you are not adding extra spaces at the begging or the end of the sequence, no break likes in the middle. Lastly, did you created a previous wallet in your new client and now you are trying to unlock your previous seed? If that is the case, that is not how Sia works: you can only have one wallet/seed associated with Sia, so if you created a new wallet already, Sia is expecting you to introduce the seed of that wallet, not a different seed. There are commands for nuking the current wallet of the client and load a new one, and for sweeping the funds for an old wallet into the new one, but let us know first what have you done so far for providing better help THX for your helpful response :-) I sounds like the last problem you mentioned coulb be the reason. The End All Be All to Kore Fixes Windows Fix:Shut Down Kore: Open your File Explorer and there will be a bar with your current folder at the top. Click on it and it should turn blue and give the root route to your current folder. Paste the following location as is and hit return to go directly to your Kore folder C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Kore (alternativly you can open File Explorer and click on the menu tab "view" and select "Hidden items" then navigate to the above directory) Delete all files and folders but wallet.dat, /Onion, /Tor &&&IF you don't understand this part I give another way of how to do this below, right above linux fix&&& Open a Command Prompt instance and navigate to the directory with kore.exe e.g. if kore is in your downloads folder and inside another folder named kore you would type Once you are inside your kore folder insert the following command. Kore.exe -zapwallettxes -reindex &&&&&& If you didn't understand how to navigate to your kore folder through command line another way to do this is to open your kore folder in File Explorer and then Shift+Right_Click anywhere in the folder and select "open cmd window here" Linux Fix:Shut down Kore: (If using daemon use kore-cli stop) Getting Ready: Open a terminal If Daemon paste the following command, if not continue to remove chain: Hit return, if there is no output kore has shut down completely and you can move to the next step, if there is please wait for kore to shut down completely Remove Chain: In terminal paste the following command and hit return. rm -r ~/.kore/chainstate ~/.kore/blocks ~/.kore/backups Remove non critical files In terminal paste the following commands and hit return. rm banlist.dat budget.dat db.log debug.log fee_estimates.dat kored.pid mncache.dat mnpayments.dat peers.dat Start Kore Back Up kore-qt -zapwallettxes -reindex (or if daemon kored -zapwallettxes -reindex) thx, it worked well Good luck with kore!
